I'm not watching it, but foxsports.com stats are updating and here's something interesting... The Jags leading rusher is a WR (R.Williams 1/8/0) and thier two receptions are both by RBs.anyone watching this game? nfl.com hasnt updated in a while.
Lefty is starting the second half at QB, although I'm not sure it's the right decision. It is a message, though, that Del Rio completely trusts him far and beyond Garrard (if that message hasn't been drilled through our heads enough already). Here's to hoping it's the right play.
no offense, but please don't! come on scobee!!!Please give this TD to Taylor.
LOL, Have you been watching the Jags the last few years??Please give the TD to taylor?

WTF happend to Reggie? Has he even been targeted?
Not anymore. 8 for 39 and 1 TD. Almost 5 a carry.Gado 10 for 27. Did you really expect gado or Daybe to remain the starter? Can someone explain to me why Lundy is in? Gado was getting 3 yards a carry which may have been the best the texans have had all year. Lundy is getting stopped pretty bad.Lundy 4 carries 2 yards.

It's not the same team. Without Peterson, Stroud, and Hayward on the field I really don't feel like the Jaguars are a Super Bowl contender anymore, and they are starting to become a fringe playoff team. Three of the five best players on defense are down and two of them won't be back this year. With Byron having ankle issues today, the frailties of the Jaguars as a team were on full display. I had incredibly high hopes going into the season, and I'm still hanging onto the idea that they can turn it around, but the amount of injuries are stacking up, even beyond they key players in the defense; a large amount of other starters and role-players have gone down and have lingering injuries as well (Spicer, Wiley, Sensabaugh, Lewis, Jones, etc).Playing Byron may have been a mistake today but it's one that I can live with. He's the quarterback of this team - regardless of how some may see Garrard - and they will only go as far as he takes them. That message is clear and has been reiterated countless times, and after what will probably be another week of public outcry for Garrard, it will be stated again against the Eagles. Did that come at the cost of a win? It's hard to say. In hindsight I don't think Jacksonville had a chance - all of the weaknesses created by injuries were exposed by a very young and talented Houston offense that is coming into its own.17 unanswered points by the Texans.
This sure doesn't look like the same Jaguar team I've been watching all year.

It sadly looks like another year of waiting for the Jaguars to ascend to elite status in the NFL. Injuries have taken their toll and the team is reeling even coming off a bye. I know it sounds incredibly pessamistic and it's still very early in the season, but the losses they've taken are substantial. Luckily the team is still incredibly young and is in great position to sustain its talent and development as a team.
I'm also going to give credit where it's due - Houston played a hell of a game. That's a team that's going in the right direction and has a lot of pieces in place to build a winning team. It's only a matter of time before they're a real force in the AFC South. It'll be fun to see the rivalry that develops between the two over the next few years as the Colts steadily decline from their cap issues.
Anyway, with any luck I'll end up being completely wrong and the Jags will rally next week against the Eagles and push for the playoffs.
He looked good. He busted off two long runs and found holes in the middle more than a few times. He looked considerably better than Dayne and Gado and the starting role should be his to lose. How did Lundy look? I see the stats but how did it look. I have him riding pine and I was gonna cut him this week but should I reconsider now?
