Wacky pack stickers! (1 Viewer)

These were awesome. I collected them and still have them. I wonder if any other FBG's still have theirs. I wish they still sold them. They were so funny. For you young FBG's they were spoofs of products being sold at the time. They were sold in packs with that nasty gum.

The old ones were the best. They weren't afraid of lawsuits back then. Try to do this today and you'd be shut down before they hit the market.

I still have about 200 of these from the 70s. My favorite being "Pabst Blew Ribbon". Especially since that's my go to beer these days.

Those things had me rolling on the floor laughing. I used to pay for them with bags full of pennies until the mean guy at the convenience store yelled at me.

I had them. My older cousins also introduced me to candy cigs at the same time. Probably around 78-82.

I used to love these and stuck them onto my headboard- classy.

fwiw- they are remaking them... just gave my son (8) a couple packs. they're about as dumb as you remember. "Poop-tarts".

Here in my office I've got a cabinet covered in all kinds of stickers, including Commie cleanser, Creep toothpaste and Chock Full of Nuts & Bolts.

i got a timeout for comparing fbg posters to these stickers a few years ago, so tread lightly.

oh wait, that might have been magic cards.

Saw a card show at a local mall about 10 years carrying tons of Wacky Pack sticker cards among all the sports cards. Kinda wished I had dropped a few bucks on them when I saw them. Cool that they are being remade ... wonder if its the classic 1970s designs, or updates for modern products?

Are these the precursor to Garbage Pail Kids?
In spirit, yes. I don't think they were manufactured by the same company, though (I write that without checking).

EDIT: Whoops, shoulda checked -- Wacky Packs and GPK cards were, in fact, both made by Topps.

my son's cards are updated... I'll try to post when I get home- I don't remember any of them.

I still have mine. Haven't looked at them in quite some time.
