Apologies in advance if this isn't the right thread, but i'm new to the game. So in my league (pretty standard yahoo default league) we are using sun-tue waivers. My question is this: how can I be sure that I'm just adding an FA and not using a waiver position? All the players that would be FAs still have the "W (Sep 22)" description under the "Owner" column. Does anyone know exactly what time it's safe to start adding and when you can see what other folks did for waivers in recent transactions? Nothing new has popped up but I'm sure there were waiver pickups..

What site does your league use? Mine is on Yahoo and it seems to vary from anywhere between 2am and 6am central time

in yahoo in my league.. weekly waivers for all players were processed at 6:25am CST last week.they should all be FA around this time... but I have also seen single player waivers processed at 2am

After the first waivers are run for all players for the week, any dropped players must clear waivers. so throughout the week if anyone is dropped they go on to the waiver for a period, usually 24 hours if waivers run everyday. the single player waivers are probably dropped players.

For Yahoo:Sorry this is late but this will help you in future weeks. Any players NOT claimed on waivers are available as free agents on Sept. 22 at 12:01am (hence, why I'm still awake). This is at least true for PST. If there is a kicker or defense you like, this is the time to grab them so you don't use a waiver claim.At 12:01AM, you can select "waivers only" and see what players people claimed waivers on. If you didn't submit a waiver claim/blind bid on a player but see him as a waiver at 12:01AM, it's too late, you can't submit a waiver claim on him now.You can reasonably assume who will be claimed on waivers each week - Snelling, Tolbert, Vick if he is there etcNow, claims are processed around 2am-5am PST...depends on the week.
