Waiver Wire darling (1 Viewer)

is there maybe a chance schilens will click with russell? russell can still suck but if he targets schilens a bunch it doesn't really matter. being tall and i think having good hands is it possible schilens will at least be able to deal with russell's poor throwing?

if chris henry had been dropped is he worth a look? or is he truly waiver material right now?

i am also surprised how little excitement jerome harrison is garnering. versus a tough D he did ok. in ppr he might be a decent RB3 in the comic weeks, no?

I didn't watch the Browns game but I would still hoard Davis if roster space allows. Harrison is not a sustaining runner against a normal defense I think we'll see Davis emerge later this year.

Coffee is an obvious choice but speaking of choice ... Tashard Choice is going to be money with Felix and Marion always dinged up.

Nate Washington is a sneaky good pickup as he's looking more and more like their best WR and with a struggling defense it means more passing attempts.

I'd probably say Thomas Jones is a buy-low. They won't face a top run defense all year and with their team playing well they set up to be in most games.

I'd sell high on FWP and buy Mendenhall. This week doesn't support it but I think at some point this season we'll see Mendy start and not look back.

If the Raiders can get their QB play up to atleast passable levels then Murphy, Zach Miller, and Schillens all have upside. Michael Bush is their best RB and really should be their workhorse although I doubt he'll ever get enough carries and since they let Garcia go there is simply no hope here. They may still win more than the Rams, Chiefs, or Browns but it'll be a dog-fight for the top pick.

In my experience it's very rarely a good idea to have a 3rd string RB on your FF roster. That's not to say there aren'ts ome very talented 3rd string RBs.

Why did Mendenhall get zero touches? All indications during the week pointed towards somewhat of an increased role and then a goose egg.

Want to place bets on whether Choice, a 3rd string RB, finishes as a top 24 RB this year the way things are shaping up?That said, if a starter goes down the RB2 isn't always going to carry the load. I think James Davis, Mendenhall, Shonn Green, Mike Bell, etc can leap-frog the scat-back RB2's if given opportunity. If you can predict who gets hurt you should be out playing the stock market but there are ALWAYS RB3's that come out of nowhere such as Pierre Thomas last year. The problem with Davis is that he plays for a horrid team. Put him on the Saints and he'd be money. However, I would go take a flier for almost nothing on Davis this week against a Bengals run defense that FWP did a good job against before writing him off assuming Jamal is still out with injury. From a matchup perspective, Harrison was the better fit against Baltimore but next week I see Davis entering the fantasy landscape if Cleveland has any shot at sustaining drives.

garcon is the play and he is still available in most leagues. i am in tons of leagues and simswalker, knox, laurent robinson all went like hot cakes last week while garcon lingered. too bad i was right in the mix for those chumps when the indy number 2 was just sittin there. oh ya, i even grabbed meachem and kelley washington over him. ugh.
He's taken in all 8 of my dynasty leagues. :lmao:
He was gone two weeks ago in all 10 of my my dynasty leagues because I grabbed him when little Gonzo went down.
Still not convinced. He has all of 7 receptions in 3 games. Two just happened to be for TD's.

Davone Bess is on pace for 91 receptions. He lacks a high ceiling because the TD potential isn't there but in a PPR league, he's a very sneaky play as a WR3 in my opinion. He's probably sitting on a bunch of Waiver Wires right now.
I think Henne makes Bess more valuable too. He'll lock on, throws a better ball that actually has some zip on it. Henne is going to put up some good games. He's been groomed for 2 years, now he just has to settle in.

I think I may have seen a mention earlier in this thread, but I think in PPR leagues, Andre Caldwell is a good value right now. He is getting a lot of the "TJ looks" and I think his targets are going to continue to improve as he gains Palmer's trust. With the game on the line, they seem to look for him (caught the game-winning td vs. Steelers). This kid has good hands, runs good routes, and is very fast.
