Waiver Wire & FAAB Discussion - Week 16 (1 Viewer)

I advanced but lose 1-2 RBs a week in dynasty it seems. I need a one week cover before hopefully getting Dobbins or Kamara back in week 17.
I'm debating adding Ameer Abdullah and playing him over the likes of Mostert and Ray Davis.
Mattison might be the better add in LV since they play the jags and might be able to run a lot (but he's not an option for me).
It's bare, but desperate times...

Throwing my entire playoff budget at Ford.

Have Kamara and Ford seems like he could take the workhorse role.

More excited for him than Kendre Miller, although miller would let me wait and see on Kamara.

I lost Montgomery so I’m trying to decide waiver priority between Ford and K.Miller (NO).

Ford didn’t do too much earliwr in the year with Chubb out. Miller - We can’t confirm Kamara out yet so it’s a wait and see.

I’m the clear dark horse left so I may have to swing for the fences and take more risk, higher upside.

But if I knew that, I would be on a boat in the Caribbean.

TE - Brenton Strange. Engram out and strange got 12 targets.

That's about it. The pantry is really bare.
Strange, but I never seen the guy play. Does he have staying power going into next year?
Yes I think so.

I thought he looked legit good on Sunday, in particular his play strength stood out to me. Even drew a PI on Sauce. Pretty decent NFL draft capital, late second round, though I think the idea behind that was it was for his blocking ability but I thought that play strength and toughness shows in his receiving.

They likely cut Engram.

A lot will depend on who they bring in as the new head coach, assuming they can Pederson. No matter who it's probably going to be a downgrade because Pederson runs possibly the TE friendliest scheme in the NFL today.

Not seeing a world beater from a talent angle, lenght is quite poor, but I feel like TE is the most scheme dependent position in fantasy. I think of players like Ferguson, Schultz, we see what Jonnu is doing when put in the right situation, what players like Pitts are not doing. If he's an every down TE who can keep displaying strong hands and some solid YAC ability in the right scheme he can be very useful. Has some discount Kittle to his overall game.

I don’t feel knowledgeable enough about jags insider stuff to say what’s likely re engram but he’s older, expensive and had a down year, and Strange has produced when given snaps…I added him last week in dyno planning to hold through the offseason and see what happens based on pretty much this logic

Making Strange a priority mainly to play keep away from my opponent, who has only Gesicki and Goedert on his roster with few other TEs available on waivers.
