Waiver Wire & FAAB Discussion - Week #2 (1 Viewer)

Skattebo or J Jennings? Old school waiver priority. Would likely drop Ray Davis

I’ve got Bijan/Walker/Mason/Allgier/Davis at RB.

AJ Brown/G Wilson/Pickens/Pearsall/Egbuka at WR.

Man, that's tough. I always go RB in coin flip situations, but there are a bunch of reasons why Skattebo isn't the guy and a there's a mark or two against Jennings. How many receivers and RBs are you required to start?

Actually, I'm looking at your guys, and I'd probably go Skattebo because you need all the lottery tickets at RB you can afford. Allgeier and Davis are not guys you can start with their floor. Walker took a big step on Sunday, but he's actually got some ways to go, and Mason was going to split time with Jones because MN wasn't all of the sudden ditching Jones. You've got a bunch of lottery tickets there, and Skattebo will frankly be a weighted one, but the more times you have a 60 percent chance, the better your probability.

eta* I know about Jones's hamstring, too. But when he comes back (whenever that is), he'll play. And that offensive line has a bunch of guys missing, so Mason might have issues.

just realized I typed Bucky as my RB1. Brain fart.

I’ve got Bijan as RB1, no Bucky on that team

Gotcha. You know what? That actually doesn't change my mind one bit. You've got one certain starter, two guys who are really good RBs but aren't necessarily RB1 on their own teams (Walker's availability made him RB 1a or RB 1b, and I'm not sure which), and two guys who are clearly RB2s.

So it's of course up to you, but I'd go RB.

I agree with rock; I'd go Skattebo. As a whole your WR stable is much stronger than your RB stable, and I think the chances of Skattebo leapfrogging a couple of your already rostered RBs is higher than Jennings leapfrogging your WRs.

In my league:

$329 for Franklin ($1000 FAAB pool), next closest was $203
$76 for Doubs, next closest was $25
Nothing else

FBG suggests we play 25-50% of our FAAB for Daniel Jones  (note this is not superflex this is 1 QB)

If he was that important you should have picked him up for $1 last week.

Honestly I like the waiver wire article but the suggestions on bidding is absurd and has been this way for a long time.

There are 14-17 weeks of waivers pending the kind of league your in and to suggest up to 50% on a QB is massive bad advice.

All the bids are all over priced in general we don't have unlimited budgets.
Their estimates aren't that far off. In my experience, the FA pool dries up as the season progresses. So you gotta spend bigger chunks of your FA money in the earlier weeks. Those that spent a lot of money on JCM after the 1st week will be far better off than someone spending that same amount on a Cam Akers or Dare Ogunbawale in week 7 for example.

Daniel Jones wasn't even bid on on my league. As the Burrow owner i also had Maye and added Caleb instead of Jones.
Surprising. CBSsports has Jones at QB 7 ROS.

The Colt offense just put up 473 yards vs DEN. They play TEN this week. Very good oline & RB, and great combo of receivers. His injury history is my biggest concern - I think he succeeds otherwise.

12-team, Dynasty, Superflex, $100 FAAB:
Jake Browning: $62
Mac Jones: $46
Carson Wentz: $38
Jeremy McNichols: $22
Dontayvion Wicks: $3
Hunter Renfroe: $0

Ten team casual short bench league. Worth dropping Ridley for Wan’Dale, Keenan, Troy Franklin or Boutte? Full ppr. The talent pool is wild in a ten team league.

i picked Chubb back up.

i'd rather have him at the end of my bench than have someone end up starting him against me.

(yahoo league, short benches, i realize he's probably not available in most leagues)

Seems like roster clogger you’d be happy to see on a league mates team

You’re a Browns fan, right?
unfortunately.

i dunno, i dropped my second defense for him.

my last couple roster spots move week to week.

Same. Our redraft is 18 x 12 & I constantly churn the bottom 3. Chubb as your RB 5/6 ain’t so bad.

I didn't get any Browning or Wentz across my redraft or dynasty leagues. Browning went for 55-80% of FAAB in dynasty leagues and around 60% in redraft (superflex)
