just throwing this out there - why would berrian automatically get his job back anyway? he had 4 good games to start the year but since then has been basically mediocre.Mark Bradleyat least while berrian is out ... when he's back, i'm not sure who will see the field more between bradley & rasheed davis
Right now Berrian is the way more polished receiver. Although he has not been used in such a manner often this year, Berrian is much more capable of going over the middle and running various routes at this point. Bradley has the ability to be very special and probably better then Berrian in the long term but right now a healthy Berrian is the #2 while Bradley would be a great burner in 3 WR sets.just throwing this out there - why would berrian automatically get his job back anyway? he had 4 good games to start the year but since then has been basically mediocre.Mark Bradleyat least while berrian is out ... when he's back, i'm not sure who will see the field more between bradley & rasheed davis
Eric Parker was hurt early in this game. Remember that when looking at Floyd's latest stats.Floys is definitely intriguing. I still haven't figured out that passing game.Over the last three weeks, the targets have been fairly evenly distributed between Gates, LT, Floyd, McCardell and Parker, but the problem with Floyd will likely be consistency.LT's too strong in the red zone, and Gates still leads all SD receivers in targets. But, Floys is probably as viable a target as either Parker or McCardell.
I was thinking of Duckett as well. I'm interested in a TD-heavy league, but I have no idea how the carries are supposed to shake out.It could be a bust, but maybe take a flier on Duckett?? I would guess his carry number will increase with Portis out.
Reche Caldwell seem to be Brady's favorite target over the last couple of weeks.
You should look at each week vs just looking at the last 3 weeks.Week 8 7-84-1Week 9 1-21Week 10 9-90-1Maybe it does hurt him on certain weeks? Not that he is not a good investment but he may not be the most consistent WR out there.Marc Levin said:The_Borg said:Reche Caldwell seem to be Brady's favorite target over the last couple of weeks.Over the last 3 weeks, he has 21 targets for 16 catches - turned those catches into 11 FDs and 2 TDs.If Caldwell's on your WW, he's probably a good investment. A few weeks ago, I thought it would either be Gabriel who would emerge as Brady's favorite target or that the Pats' propensity to spread the ball around would hurt Caldwell. Those fears have not materialized.
