Leonard has the higher upside in my opinion since he's a RB and Jackson hasn't shown much yet this year and is gone for an undertermined length of time (one or more weeks) with a partial tear of the left groin. If Leonard is able to move the chains he could displace Jackson although it would start as RBBC at the very minimum.Roddy White appears to be more of a sure thing and more of a consistent fantasy player and may improve his worth with the addition of Leftwich. It always depends on what your fantasy team strengths look like and what you need RB vs WR but I'd lean more toward Roddy White.
The loss of Orlando Pace appears to be quite a devestating blow to the Rams. If a stud RB like SJax can't seem to make a breakthrough, what makes everybody think that Brian Leonard will? Puhleeeze.
Roddy is definetely the short and long term solution for a fantasy team if they have to choose between the two.

Excuse me, guy....but a starting RB is FAR more valuable than a fringe 3rd WR. Who knows how long S.Jax will be out for....it could be weeks. You'd rather have an Atlanta Falcon WR than a starting RB (who could possibly be a stud)? :(

After the way things have gone for the Rams as a whole and SJax in particular the first 3 games, not sure how you can say that Leonard has any upside at all....I think he'll be lucky if he can equal the numbers Jackson put up. As for me, I'll be taking the guy who looks like he has established himself as the #1 WR on a team that could be turning into Detroit-lite....there's your upside!

In the first three games, Jackson and Leonard combined for 14 receptions (Jackson 8/Leonard 6). Given Leonard's receiving skills it's not a reach at all to project him for 4-5 receptions a game as the starter. In a PPR league, Leonard should provide solid RB3 production with strong RB2 upside. I think he's a pretty good bet to get 75+ total yards a game with 4-5 receptions even in an offense that's having problems.
