Waiver Wire TE options for WK 16 (1 Viewer)

As I see it, there are a few bad, but still interesting options on WW for people needing a TE this week.

- Robert Royal (vs. TEN). Almost certainly on your wire. He's caught TDs in each of the last 3 games, but he isn't really a huge part of the passing game.

- Jermaine Wiggins (@ GB). Pretty good matchup. He's got a rookie QB, which could cut both ways (kid might be just awful, or he might need to throw a ton of medium-range passes).

- Ben Utecht (@ HOU). Great matchup. Peyton could easily go off for 4 TDs, and Utecht might be the beneficiary of one of them. That said, it isn't clear that he's filling the Dallas Clark role yet.

- Chris Baker (@ MIA). Reasonably consistent, gets targeted a lot. Low downside, but almost no upside against a good D. He'll be held back to block a lot, I'd think.

- Heath Miller (@ PIT). See Chris Baker. Miller's been really quiet recently, and Baltimore doesn't really seem like the team he'd break out against, but I suppose you never know. He's certainly the best player of the lot.

This is just a sampling of guys available in my leagues-- there are of course other options. I think it would be most helpful, though, if people could assume in their responses that at least the following 12 guys are not available:

Gates

Shockey

Gonzo

Crumpler

Cooley

KW2

Heap

Desmond Clark

Witten

LJ Smith

Vernon Davis

Jerramy Stevens

Yeah, I know: maybe Vernon Davis is still available in your 8-team, 10-man roster size league. For the sake of this discussion, I hope we can all agree that your league is the exception rather than the rule.

I'm rolling with Scheffler. Maybe he and Cutler have developed some chemistry. Wrighster has been fairly consistent also.
