I think both Oakland and Houston will be playing from behind a lot. PPR league? I'd go with LaMont.I don't like it but I'm actually going to start Lundy over Lamont Jordan this week. Its gonna get real ugly for Oakland
No PPR, I just don't see Lamont getting any yards in this game. Esp if Brooks continues to look for the TEs for outletI think both Oakland and Houston will be playing from behind a lot. PPR league? Going to start Ike Bruce or Michael Jenkins over Lundy (flex spot), cause Portis situation still looks iffy (Portis is my 1RB with kevin jones 2RB).....I'm a long time UVA fan, but I still want to see how the carries will break down before "I give him the rock".There are 2 many ifs involved in that situation..There have been no indications that Lundy will get more carries, especially if you look at last week when Morency was still there, and they were switching them out pretty much every other series..I think you're really rolling the dice to think he will get even 90yds, especially since the Texans will likely be behind by a bunch early................plus I can switch out Bruce for Portis before the late games start if it looks like portis will start. No PPR, I just don't see Lamont getting any yards in this game. The 90 yds prediction wasn't mine, I just don't think he'll do worse than Lamont. As I said I don't like it but don't have much choiceGoing to start Ike Bruce or Michael Jenkins over Lundy, cause Portis situation still looks iffy.....I'm a long time UVA fan, but I still want to see how the carries will break down before "I give him the rock".There are 2 many ifs involved in that situation..There have been no indications that Lundy will get more carries, especially if you look at last week when Morency was still there, and they were switching them out pretty much every other series..I think you're really rolling the dice to think he will get even 90yds, especially since the Texans will likely be behind by a bunch early................plus I can switch out Bruce for Portis before the late games start if it looks like portis will start. No PPR, I just don't see Lamont getting any yards in this game. Data??? How about the kid is rookie who had a great preseason and one bad game as a starter against a tough D. What more can I say besides I feel this kid has the talent and this is his must perform opportunity. Not sure what other data you could expect.Always love bold predictions with no data or support for it other than a gut feeling. The outside chance Wali has a great day, please don't come back here saying "I told you so..."
I'm currently starting Ike Bruce right now too, just in case there is some late good news on Portis.I'm starting Ike over Addai, C. Henry, Reggie. Brown, and a few others...Going to start Ike Bruce or Michael Jenkins over Lundy (flex spot), cause Portis situation still looks iffy (Portis is my 1RB with kevin jones 2RB).....I'm a long time UVA fan, but I still want to see how the carries will break down before "I give him the rock".There are 2 many ifs involved in that situation..There have been no indications that Lundy will get more carries, especially if you look at last week when Morency was still there, and they were switching them out pretty much every other series..I think you're really rolling the dice to think he will get even 90yds, especially since the Texans will likely be behind by a bunch early................plus I can switch out Bruce for Portis before the late games start if it looks like portis will start. No PPR, I just don't see Lamont getting any yards in this game. I just think your post would have a lot more creditbility if you said something other than, "Wali is going to breakout because he is good and I like him" (my liberal paraphrasing of your initial post)Maybe some game analysis of HOU run or breakdown of Indy's poor run D? Most believe HOU is going to be playing from behind = a lot of passing and Wali will be the #3 option at best then.Am not discounting your prediction and sorry to pick on you but it always annoys me when people make predictions with zero support and substance, then try to play themselves off as experts later on down the road.Good luck today.rupricht said:Data??? Oh well - looks like you are right....Wali just fumbled the damn ball & Ron Dayne had some decent runs!I just think your post would have a lot more creditbility if you said something other than, "Wali is going to breakout because he is good and I like him" (my liberal paraphrasing of your initial post)Maybe some game analysis of HOU run or breakdown of Indy's poor run D?
