Hey Jeff. Here's the facts:--12 team Non-PPR, all TDs are 7pts, standard yardage.--Very limited league in regards to transactions. We're at the halfway point of the regular season and I have 4 left. I also have 4th position on the waiver list. --You have to have 5 RBs and 6 WRs, no more no less. --I also need to save at least 1 transaction for most of the season in case Hernandez gets dinged as my other TE is Finley, although I could trade.My RBs = Best (bye this week), Bradshaw (bye next week), Barber, Sproles, KuhnMy WRs = AJ (bye this week), Ocho, MWilliamsTB, Dez, Naanee (banged up), McClusterFA RBs = Woodhead (RB only), Ivory, BettsFA WRs = Meachem, Burleson (bye this week), DAlexander, Avant, JenkinsI'm not all that comfortable starting Barber and Dez this week against the Giants. This seems like a good time to use a move or two with my waiver position. If Naanee is healthy, and Gates/Floyd are not, he has a good matchup....but that's alot of if's. I'd also rather not play guys coming off that type of injury right away. The Saints play at home against the Browns making Ivory (with Pierre out) and Meachem attractive, but they play the Steelers next week when Bradshaw is on bye (Barber plays Jags though). I also see Woodhead as a viable option this week and down the stretch. I like Burleson too, but he doesn't help me this week, and that's a move I could make right after waiver runs if nobody picks him up and I didn't get Meachem. Not sure I have enough info on Alexander.I need to put the best lineup out there since I'm a game out of the division at 3-4....but I also am limited on moves so what I do needs to try to also have an eye on later in the year.What would be your move(s) here? Or sit tight, roll with my Cowboys, maybe just making one move?Thanks!

I would use one move for either Ivory or Meachem ... both playing well. I would dump Kuhn. Meachem is the better longterm move but Ivory this week. Then, I would sit Dez this week and start MB3

Thanks for the quick response.My waiver ran last night and my order was Ivory-Meachem-Woodhead. The #1 waiver claimed Ivory and I claimed Meachem at #4. I'm still debating making the move on Woodhead as he was not picked up. He certainly would be an upgrade to Kuhn, but I'm now down to 3 moves. If I picked him up and didn't start him this week I'm not sure that's worth it...but it could be.

too early in season to use another move for a RB who carries the ball 10ish times

Capped off the week trading Best and Brady for Peterson and Favre! And I have Orton. Worked out for the best I'd say! Thanks again.

I would start your two RBs and your three WRs, sans Holmes. At TE, dump Winslow for ODaniels. Keep Ivory, especially with news Pierre is out for quite a while longer

I like Daniels. He has been great when healthy. At defense, I would dump SF for TB with Anderson at QB. Dump Bryant for Carpenter. He has scored well the past three weeks. Kickers are streaky. Keep Kolb for now unless something happens you need to dump him. I would hold tight at RB/WR. Getting average players in good situations is a recipe for failure at the expense of high expectations

I would roll with Hart now that Addai is out. Watch for Donald Brown's injury status. Hart could be their starter. If not, try to move Hart and Murphy for Lynch. I might want more than Lynch for Smith or Williams, esp in PPR.

I would avoid Mathews at this point. Beanie Wells is the one I would target. He or Tomlinson would be my choice. I would offer the two Saints ... and throw in Roy to get it done.

It looks like Romo will be out for a few weeks. The Romo owner has Sanchez as a backup. I have Ben and Eli. Eli’s bye in next week, so what I’m going to ask you about has huge up-front risk for me.

What is your impression of me offering him Ben and Ahmad Bradshaw for Romo and Turner? Both Bradshaw and Turner are on bye next week too, so no immediate RB impact, but this trade would give him a potentially great QB for the rest of the year, and a pretty good RB in Bradshaw, for a broken Romo that may be back in a few weeks, and Turner, who can be a stud, but has had his woes this year.

And frankly, I’m not sure who has better value for the rest of this year, Bradshaw or Turner.

I would have to find a QB on the waiver wire for week 8. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Matt Cassel are on our WW now, so there’s some potential for week 8. I’m 5-2 now, he’s 4-3.

Is this a wonderful and exciting gamble to improve my team for the playoffs, or is it a total mess of an idea?

Now I lost my QB for WEEKS last night! You guessed it I have ROMO, my backup is Michael Vick who is on his BYE this week!!!!



So, I have to DROP somebody to pick up a QB to start week 8! I am not going to drop Vick but who do I drop?

If you think I need to hang onto Ivory, then I guess the WR to say good-bye to is Santonio Holmes who hasn't done much of anything yet!

Do I grab KITNA, they are certain to work with him on timing and stuff this week, he has a load of talent at WR, TE & RB so I guess he is my best option for ONE WEEK, right?????

I grabbed McCluster (listed as RB/WR) last week, so my plan was to start him at RB unless some other opportunity popped up. A couple of interesting WW options are Derrick Ward at Indy and LeGarrette Blount at Arizona.

1. What order do you like McCluster, Ward, and Blount?

2. And Fitzgerald or Britt? After Fitzgerald’s dud last week against Seattle, I’m inclined to try Britt at SD and hope he can blow up twice in a row. Fitz is at home against Tampa Bay.

My plan is to drop Hartley for Blount or Ward. Sound right?

And do you like keeping Moeaki, or maybe swapping him out for Lee Evans or another Defense? Thanks!

Do I grab KITNA, they are certain to work with him on timing and stuff this week, he has a load of talent at WR, TE & RB so I guess he is my best option for ONE WEEK, right?????

Wondering what you think? Kitna will face the Jags secondary.
