Hi Jeff, hope all is well!Listen, I've been sweating and agonizing over my lineup decision for the championship all week long. To the point that I can't even sleep, it's past 3am on the east coast. I need some expert advice, and figured I'd turn to the site that has me in 3 championships and a 2nd round this season. So it's my RB's and WR's that I am stressing over. I am in a 12-team ESPN Standard scoring league (non-PPR). Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, Flex RB/WR, Flex WR/TE, TE, D/ST, K, 6 bench spots. I posted my roster below for your reference.I can not figure out who to start between Kevin Smith, Marshawn Lynch, and Willis McGahee. I think Smith can be a difference maker in this game, and the Chargers D does not scare me, he can put up points on the ground or in the air in the points in time we’ve seen him operating at 100%. He could also re-injure himself, which we’ve seen happen as well this season, so I am hesitant and struggling because I know what he can do at full capacity. Lynch has literally been a beast, and he’s carried me to this point following Forte’s untimely injury. The 49ers D is rock solid, but he’s been running so well it kills me to even consider benching him. He could either be the guy to break this 49ers D’s 15 game streak, or cost me the title if common sense prevails and the 49ers D shuts him down. McGahee has the easiest matchup against Buffalo, but I’m concerned if there are any lingering injuries there, or if he splits with Lance Ball. It’s an easy matchup with still unpredictable variables enough for me to question putting him into the starting lineup. Need some serious help in picking 2 of those 3.WR is a little more clear cut. I have VJax, AJ Green, and Brandon Lloyd. VJax’s groin injury really caught me off guard with regards to its significance today. I picked up Golden Tate to start at 4PM should he not be able to go, since my opponent preemptively picked up DHB and Titus Young, chalk it up to gamesmanship I guess. Also I have Stafford and he has Calvin and Brees, so it would not shock me to see him start Calvin and Young to neutralize Stafford, but we’ll see at kickoff. I’m rolling with AJ regardless of the shoulder injury. I am just going to hope for the best, I can’t bench him he’s been solid all season long. Lloyd I am just rolling with. Kellen at the helm is more than concerning, but I am going with my 6th rounder and hoping for the best out of him, since he IS the St. Louis passing game. My other options are Mike Williams TB and Damian Williams, and I’d feel even less comfortable starting one of them. Also let me know if I’m over thinking this at D/ST. I was planning to start the Cowboys. I have the Pats on the bench, and the Redskins are FA. I know this is a big move, so I wanted to run it by someone like yourself first before I dive into a move like that. Thanks so much in advance, you guys are awesome and have really helped me out this season. Merry Christmas and much success in your own championships this week!
