Hey Jeff, need some help with a possible trade12 team H2H Keeper Auction league$200 salary. Can keep 3 players and as many taxi squad players. Players can be kept for 3 years.(THIS IS SECOND YEAR OF LEAGUE)5 man rookie squad. Members can be promoted and salary depends on round they were drafted in rookie draft(eg. $10/year x 5 years rd. 1, $5/year x 3 years rd. 2, etc)Standard Scoring, 6 pts for all TD'sStart 1 QB, 2 RB, 4 WR/TE, 1 K, 1 DEFCurrently 4-1 after my whole team put up a DUD last week. LT is hurting me and I am starting to panic a bit. I got a descent offer today.RosterQB: Rodgers $3(2nd year of three year contract), Garrard $1RB: Chris Johnson$10(2nd year of 5 year contract), LT $44, Thomas Jones $14, Justin Forsett$3, E. Graham $4WR/TE: R. Moss$40(2nd year of 3 year contract), Calvin Johnson $20(2nd year of 3yr), A. Boldin$22(2nd year of 3yr.), Driver $14, K. Walter $11, Cooley $4I wasn't thinking of keeping Moss after this year after acquiring Boldin in a trade. I would keep Boldin, Johnson and Rodgers plus Chris Johnson as a taxi squad keeper. Anyways, I have received two offers. B. Edwards $27(1st year of 3 yr) and A. Bradshaw$11(1st yr. of 3 yr.) for either Boldin $22 or Moss at $40. This deal doesn't help my keeper situation a whole lot since I would likely keep Boldin, Johnson and Rodgers over Edwards and Bradshaw anyways. This does give me a bit of depth at RB but do I lose too much at WR? Braylon looked good playing the other night but I just don't know. Thanks
I do not like it unless you think Edwards is close to Moss. Your RBs are decent enough that I would not trade a stud for two backups. I say that because if you do that deal, I would play Driver over Edwards many weeks. The Pats have a good matchup this week and I would not sell Moss until after he has a huge game.

Hey Jeff,

My team is banged up and this bye week is a killer. I have to start one of these in a PPR league.

Jonathan Stewart (vs. TB) or Jamal Lewis (vs. Pit). My get says this is a no brainer and go with Stewart, even with limited touches but figured I'd ask.

yeah, I would go with Stewart. I cannot imagine the Browns getting many rushing opportunities

i play in a 12 team ppr.

Pick 2 rb from the following: rice @minnesota, chris johnson @ new england, or slaton @ cincy.

Pick 1 TE: celek @ oakland or carlson vs arizona

I would always start Johnson, never knowing when the big game will come. I would probably start Slaton just due to the tough matchup for Rice.celek at tight end

I'm struggling this year. Low output from most of my players.

Scoring is PPR, 6/TD, .1 rushing/receiving yard, 3 point bonuses for 100 rushing/receiving yards

My team:

Romo

Jacobs

Ward

McCoy

Harrison

White

F. Jones

Moore

Fitz

Jennings

Berrian

T. Gonzalez

We start any of the folling combos: 1 RB/4WR/1TE, 2 RB/3 WR/1TE, 3 RB/2WR/1TE, 2 RB/2WR/2 TE

I was offered P. Thomas for Jennings, Should I jump on it? Jennings has been slumping as we all know. But Bell comes back this week, Will it hurt Thomas production? I need a RB, but should I target someone else or should I get Thomas?

what are our feelings on starting 2 pass catchers on the same team...

for example, i have both desean jackson at wr and brent celek at te. is it a good strategy to start both or am i putting 2 many eggs in one basket.

my other te is carlson. my other wr are: boldin, sims-walker, and walter.

Easy Question here Jeff, so no need of reminding you about my Dynasty League w/Contract Years.

I can cut James Davis with a 3.0 Million Cap penalty for next year (85 Total) or I can put him on IR and keep him for next year with his 3.0 Million Contract. I can have no more than 4 RB, and i already have Felix Jones, LeSean McCoy.

What Should i Do With Him? Does he have any value looking forward to next year? Will he ever have better Fantasy Numbers than Felix and McCoy? I'm rebuilding so basically i don't need another "Only Bye Weeks Starters"... I need players who can help my team to really improve..

Thank you.

Rivers or Garrard.............leaning Rivers

Jackson or Slaton? Already starting Pierre and Benson

Burleson or Jennngs?

Would you rather have manningham,Garcon or Hester for a Wr4. Burleson, Jennings,Ocho my other wr's and only start 2 each week.

Thanks Again! ;)

Appreciate the help.

Clark is on a bye. Need to grab a TE off the waiver wire for week 6.

1PPR, 1pt/10yds rec, 6pts/td's

Zach Miller vs. PHI

Dante Resario @ TB

Jermichael Finley vs. DET

Sean Ryan @ WAS

Tony Scheffler @ SD (injury status?)

Bo Scaife @ NE

Leaning towards Scaife, but will he get more involved now that the injury seems to be behind him?

Scheffler could be a nice play, but he left last week with an injury.

Will Miller get more involved in the offense?

I'd appreciate any advice/opinions.

Also, which 2 wr's this week: Smith(NYG), Burleson, Welker. Same scoring as above.

They all three could blow up. I've been starting Smith, but Eli has a bad history against NO.

Burleson has been hot, but he could also throw up a goose egg.

Welker is just back from injury, but in PPR he's pretty solid.

Thanks.

I need starting help, TDs only, I need one of the following.

RB M.Bell v NYG

WR L.Moore v NYG

WR J.Gage @ NE

WR P.Harvin v BAL

WR C.Henry v HOU

I am leaning Harvin or Henry.

Thanks in advance.

keep Jennings at least this week. I think he plays well and Pierre is banged up a little with a tough matchup

I do not mind two good players from same team. I do not see it as a problem, but I might start Boldin and MSW over DeSean this week. But, having two starters from same team is no big deal. Only things to watch out for are bad weather and extremely bad matchups

Burleson or Jennngs? Both are great options this week. I think Jennings.

Would you rather have manningham,Garcon or Hester for a Wr4. Burleson, Jennings,Ocho my other wr's and only start 2 each week. Hester has big upside with Cutler throwing ball

Thanks Again!

I think I would swing with Finley and hope for a big game. I would start Welker and Burleson. Burleson vs Smith is a tough call for me with Smith having a tough matchup.

Davis will have value next year, but I do not know if it will be enough. He may not be worth carrying. Maybe be best to replace with a RB with higher upside. But, Davis will be a good prospect next yr. I just do not know if he will be good enough to be in your top four.

Hi again Jeff,

Need a flex in my 10 team PPR league; Derrick Mason (@ Min), Leon Washington (BUF) or Cadillac Williams (CAR)?

Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone, I will be traveling starting tonight and be back Saturday. I may or may not be able to answer questions before Saturday, but will get caught up then.

Hi Jeff,

Quick 2 questions:

Was offered TO, Derrick Ward, and Darren McFadden for Tim Hightower and Santana Moss. I kind of like the trade but I have a pretty strong team and don't really need to make any moves right now just for the sake of making a move. Should I accept?

Question 2: Should I play Mike Sims-Walker ,Nate Burleson, or (pending the outcome of question 1) Santana Moss this wekend? as my 3rd wideout this weekend?

Thanks alot Jeff.

Hey Jeff, need some help with Romo's bye week

I have Sanchez and Campbell as possibilities. I am leaning Campbell but should I take a gamble on someone like Josh Johnson, Delhomme, or Bulger?

Thanks

I would not do that deal. Getting three avg players for fantasy. I prefer Hightower/Santana side. Also, MSW could have a monster game vs Rams this week with everyone there talking about Holt playing old team. MSW is embarrassed about last week. Santana and Burleson are also great plays, but MSW could go off..

Hey Jeff, need some help with a possible trade

12 team H2H Keeper Auction league

$200 salary. Can keep 3 players and as many taxi squad players. Players can be kept for 3 years.(THIS IS SECOND YEAR OF LEAGUE)

Standard Scoring, 6 pts for all TD's

Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 4 WR/TE, 1 K, 1 DEF

Currently 4-1 after my whole team put up a DUD last week. LT is hurting me and I am starting to panic a bit. I got a descent offer today.

Roster

QB: Rodgers $3(2nd year of three year contract), Garrard $1

RB: Chris Johnson$10(2nd year of 5 year contract), LT $44, Thomas Jones $14, Justin Forsett$3, E. Graham $4

WR/TE: R. Moss$40(2nd year of 3 year contract), Calvin Johnson $20(2nd year of 3yr), A. Boldin$22(2nd year of 3yr.), Driver $14, K. Walter $11, Cooley $4

Hey Jeff, the owner has just made another offer. Ronnie Brown and Edwards for Moss or Boldin. I have to take that offer right? If I was to make this trade it would have to be for Moss as his salary is $40 and Boldin's is $22. If I traded Moss i would have to shed $7 to get under the cap. What do you think? I could always trade Jones or LT for another WR.

I think both Sanchez vs Buffalo and Campbell vs KC are good options. I think I might roll with Sanchez. He should be solid. Campbell is risky. KC could win that game.

Moss has disappointed so far this season. His team will not be any better than yours, imo.

Jeff

I'm looking for your gut feeling on my WR's this week? I am in a 12 team PPR league, 1pt for every 10 yards, 6 for TD, 3 more pts for any rec TD of 40+yards. I'm starting Andre Johnson as my #1, but I'm debating on my WR2 and WR3 slots. I have Sims-Walker, Hester, Avery, Bowe, Hakeem Nicks and Breaston. I am leaning away from starting Bowe, and toward Sims-Walker and either Hester or Avery.

What do you think?

Thanks

Scott

PPR LEAGUE

Peyton on his BYE :lmao:

Matt Ryan v CHI ( How do you think he is going to do? )

RB (2)

APeterson v RAVENS

Chris Johnson @ PATS (How scary is this option?)

Reggie Bush v GIANTS ( Is there any crazy SLEEPER possibility here?)

THightower @ SEA ( Is he a better option than CJ or Bush?)

BTW Food for thought....Ricky Williams---Felix Jones---Mike Bell---TChoice all are on a bye this week.

Should I consider dropping one of my RB's like Hightower to grab up Ricky or Felix to store on my bench for later?

Mike Bell has been gaining some chatter bc of Pierre Thomas and his nagging injury....thoughts?

WR (3) --- BIG, BIG problems here Calvin Johnson out with injury hopefully not for long but I can't count on him

I dropped JCotchery for multiple reasons, he can't go this week, maybe longer plus Braylon Edwards has found himself ...LOL!

That leaves:

RWhite v CHI

DMason @ ATL (Hopefully they can't eliminate him like the Bengals did last week.)

JMaclin @ OAK (If what everyone says is right...he should come through)

TOwens @ JETS (They are smelling blood in the water already after losing to the Dolphins...Edwards will have no time to get the ball to TO)

Do I keep TO or drop him for:

Devery Henderson v Giants

Hakeem Nicks v SAINTS (Love him but does Elie go after too many...can he get lost)

Donnie Avery @ JAGS (Can you really trust this team?)

So which 3 WRs would you start, who would you drop, who would you grab!

TE (1)

Celek @ OAK (Has done great so far---little worried about starting Maclin and him---what do you think?)

Owens @ Bengals ( another beast but the Bengals D is for real)

My team is injured and I need your WISDOM--I trust and believe in your advice!

Sorry for the length of the question but I so, so appreciate your time, thoughts and consideration on behalf of my team and its future!

YOU ARE DA MAN!

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for answering my earlier question. I've got some more matchup related questions in my other league for you.

All TDs 6 points, 1/25 yards passing, 1/10 yards rushing

Pick 1 QB:

Rivers vs. DEN (he traditionally kills them, but the Denver D looks for real this year)

Roethlisberger vs. CLE (have only been spot starting him b/c Rivers has been money, but this matchup is too good to pass up, right?)

Pick 2 WR:

Andre Johnson @CIN (I thought this was a no-brainer till I saw that CIN is giving up an average of 7.5 YPG to #1 WRs, and AJ has been shut down in a couple of games)

Bowe @WAS (he looks healthy again)

Mason @MIN (health concern and that big goose egg last week but Cam said he'd get Mason the ball more)

Welker vs. TEN (another health concern but the Titans secondary is beat up)

Do I go for the studs or the matchups here? Or do I mine the WW for someone like Burleson vs. ARI who has a really nice matchup (and whom I probably should have picked up instead of Welker).

Thanks as always for your advice.

Need WR3...Avery, Maclin, or Bennett? Leaning towards Avery with a very good match up.

TE...Can pick up Pettigrew, Scheffler, or Boss(I see he's practicing but not sure of his status). Leaning towards Pettigrew with Johnson hurt.

Thanks,

Finn

Jeff,

I would like to pick up Jacoby Jones as a stash player, would you drop someone from this team to pick him up? If your not a J Jones fan who would you think is my most expendable player?

Jeff A guy in my league just drop Jerricho Cotchery Should i pick him up ?

I want to get him but who should i drop

F Jackson or P Garcon

in another league he was drop too

But all i have is J Gage to to drop is Jerricho Cotchery better than Gage

Hi Jeff.

Just Picked Up Mike Sims Walker with a 5.0 M Contract.

I'm rebuilding and that's my WR Corp (i can keep no more than 4 wr)

3 Years / 0.5 M - Josh Morgan

3 Years / 3.0 M - Eddie Royal

3 Years / 4.0 M - Percy Harvin

I have to choose the lengh of MSW Contract, and i need your help.

Cut - James Davis 2 Years / 5 Millions (i will suffer 5 Millions cap Penalty for 2 Years) and give him a 2 Years Contract

Cut - Leon Hall 2 Years / 0.5 Millions (same ad Davis, different Cap Penalty) and give him a 2 Years Contract.

Cut - Josh Morgan 3 Years / 0.5 Millions (same as above) and give him a 3 Years Contract

Cut - Travis Beckum 3 Years / 0.5 Millions and give him a 3 Years Contract, Then i will need to add a TE with a 1 Year Contract and so i will have to cut another player.

Cut - Travis Beckum 3 Years / 0.5 Millions and Leon Hall 2 Years / 0.5 and then Adding MSW (3 Years Contract) and a TE with upside like (Jermicheal Finley).

XXX - My other TE is Toodd Heap with a 1 year Contract, total cap is 85 Millions.

Thanks man, you're awesome!

Hi Jeff

Which team defence would you go with in week #6 in a PPR league?

1. New Orleans vs NYG

2. Green Bay vs Detroit

Thanks..

JeffI'm looking for your gut feeling on my WR's this week? I am in a 12 team PPR league, 1pt for every 10 yards, 6 for TD, 3 more pts for any rec TD of 40+yards. I'm starting Andre Johnson as my #1, but I'm debating on my WR2 and WR3 slots. I have Sims-Walker, Hester, Avery, Bowe, Hakeem Nicks and Breaston. I am leaning away from starting Bowe, and toward Sims-Walker and either Hester or Avery. What do you think? Thanks Scott
Love MSW this week against the Rams. Hester vs Avery is a close one. I think I would lean Hester over Avery just because of quality of QB

PPR LEAGUE

Peyton on his BYE

Matt Ryan v CHI ( How do you think he is going to do? ) Ryan should do fine. The Bears are not strong vs pass.

Peterson and Johnsonare good options. I would not mess with Bell right now unless Pierre is out for extended time. Felix is a better option than Hightower many weeks.

You are in decent shape with White, Mason and Maclin this week. I want to see something from TO before starting him

Glad you are seeing the light on Avery .... :) but Nicks is the one to own. He will be getting stronger as season rolls along

TE (1)

Celek @ OAK (Has done great so far---little worried about starting Maclin and him---what do you think?)

Owens @ Bengals ( another beast but the Bengals D is for real)

Celek is a good play this week. The Eagles play the Raiders ...

My team is injured and I need your WISDOM--I trust and believe in your advice!

Sorry for the length of the question but I so, so appreciate your time, thoughts and consideration on behalf of my team and its future!

YOU ARE DA MAN!
Thanks for the kind words. Happy to help. Good luck this week.

These two are close enough that I would roll with Big Ben. I think he is safer.

I think you have to go with AJ, even with the averages. Comes down to Mason vs Welker for me. I would roll with Mason with hopes he bounces back strong with a good matchup. I think Burleson could have a big game, but he is not a better play than Mason or Welker

Do I go for the studs or the matchups here? Or do I mine the WW for someone like Burleson vs. ARI who has a really nice matchup (and whom I probably should have picked up instead of Welker).

Thanks as always for your advice.
Good luck.

Hey Finn, I think I would go with Pettigrew at TE. At least he is getting good targets. For WR, Avery versus Maclin is close. I think I would go with Avery. The Jax pass defense is weak as evidenced by Hasselbeck throwing four TDs last week vs them.

I am not a huge Jacoby Jones fan only because he is WR3, and fourth option in pass game. He is best in deep leagues or ones rewarding return yards. I think Brandon Jackson and New Orleans defense are first to dump.

Drop Gage for Cotchery easily. Keep Fred Jax. Garcon vs Cotchery is a close one, imo. With Edwards now in NY, I think I would stay with Garcon.

thanks for the nice words. I think I would dump Morgan. I was so high on him coming into the season. But, he has been invisible. Now, Crabtree is coming back. MSW looks to be a stud, but has the injury concerns. So, the three year deal is probably spot on.

In a 12 team, 18 player roster league. Start 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 2 flex.

0.75 PPR

Keep 4 at year end.

I've been offered Slaton, Roeth and Heath Miller for Gore and Avery

My current lineup:

QB: Garrard, Henne (help)

RB: Gore, Lynch, Moreno, Jacobs, SMorris, Betts

WR: RMoss, SSmith (Car), Calvin, SHolmes, Massaquoi, Avery

TE: GOlsen

So you can see, I could use Roeth. Heath is an upgrade over Olsen, and a nice pairing. Slaton is a step down from Gore, but is it that big a loss?

Usually, I believe that getting the best player is always the key, but what do you think?

My first reaction is to say that Garrard will have a good game Sunday and you don't need the deal. But, I can totally understand wanting the QB upgrade. I think I would keep Gore and offer Jacobs and Henne for Ben and Miller. You address your needs and losing Jacobs does not hurt when you only start two RBs.
