Mike Bell has been gaining some chatter bc of Pierre Thomas and his nagging injury....thoughts?

I dropped JCotchery for multiple reasons, he can't go this week, maybe longer plus Braylon Edwards has found himself ...LOL!

Glad you are seeing the light on Avery ....but Nicks is the one to own. He will be getting stronger as season rolls along

Going to drop Hightower for Felix Jones....keeping my boy Reggie Bush....Right?

Starting Maclin, so I was worried about also starting Celek ( 2 Eagles) but it is Oakland...lol
Just wanted you to reassure me that Owen Daniels won't benefit from the fact that the Bengals D is playing up and shutting down WR's so many TE's are having good games.....You think not .... so I am going to start Celek with confidence!
I do not like playing RBs vs Giants. Hard to have huge game. Also, I w am a huge Leon fan, but disappointed in lack of use with all we heard about getting him touches. Love Hightower in what could be a bad weather game. Double check weather forecast to see if still looking at rain ... last I saw was "sideways rain expected".Need 1 in a PPRThomas vs. NYGLWash vs. BUFHightower at SEAMost projections have these guys all around the same spot. All potentially have to share time.. what are you feeling here?
I think Smith (CAR) has a huge game .. he should. Delhomme has not thrown one TD to any position other than TE and the Bucs are a GREAT matchup. Also, I love Hines versus the Browns. He will be solid and rarely has a bad game. Smith vs Edwards is tougher for me. Braylon has the better shot at a huge game with Smith getting solid production. His bad games are not really that bad. It is a trade off. You are right in the weather in NYJ looks like:A high of 47Cloudy with a 90% chance of rainWind - NNE at 17 MPHI think I would go with Smith. If the Jets get up on Buffalo (likely), I expect them to pound the ball with Jones.
I would lean towards Hester coming off a bye. Maclin could have another big game, but Curtis is back and I suspect the Eagles to run more than they pass in this lopsided contest.
Jacobs vs Morris is a tough one for me. Morris will be solid while Jacobs has the better shot at a big game. What has haunted Jacobs, imo, is the lack of TDs compared to past seasons. I think the weather is slated to be bad in NE so I would go with Morris. Brady should be ok with the Titan secondary banged up. If the weather looks to be too bad, Garrard is a good option. You have a good team that should be ok. It is a long season.
Johnson ... Bush versus NYG is a tough one to start

On Felix Jones, I do not know the answer as of yet. We should know on Wednesday. On Boldin, I am hearing ankle sprain ... possibly of the high ankle sprain variety. I doubt he is 100% for at least a couple of weeks. There is no way AGonzo plays this week. He has yet to start practicing of yet. Garcon vs Walter is a tough one since each is feast or famine. Walter blows up some weeks and disappears others.
Can you make the waiver move just to get a QB for sure? 2nd choice would be to wait on Edwards/pick up Fitz. The Bills face Carolina which is a good matchup. I think Edwards will be questionable. I have not heard good things about Edwards being ready so might be best just to get Bulger.eddie077 said:

Collie and Rice are decent plays. Collie is better than Rice due to matchup, but Rice could have another big game. The Steelers have given up big plays through the air.
This is such a tough one since all three Cowboy RBs are slated to play this week. I heard Jerry Jones say good things about Choice today and Felix was wearing a knee brace ... so I would lean ever so slightly toward Choice, but it is a toughie.
Hey Paul, I would not touch Lewis (over the hill) nor Maroney (never know who will get carries in NE). For Bell vs Bush, I would give it another week to see the carry distribution.
That is a tough one. I know Smith could get his way and finally break out. I would be more inclined to start Edwards over Smith since Delhomme has not thrown a WR TD this year. I think I would risk it and hope one of the Colt WRs goes off. iirc, usually one of the Colts WRs (not both) has big games ... I do not remember both having big weeks in same game.

Hey, sorry about the Scheffler deal last week. He had a monster game. I missed on him, too, in a league I needed to cover Witten's bye and chose another TE. I think LJ has another decent week. SD is not the same without Williams. Lynch runs hard and should be ok. I agree on Dallas being a mess. Donald Brown could do ok versus St Louis, also. Also, the Falcon rush defense has been playing well, like Sunday night vs Forte. At WR, I think Avery has a chance to play, but it is risky since he could not re-enter the game last Sunday. I like Schilens in a week or two when he gets 100%, but it is way too risky to start a player coming off this long of an injury layoff, esp with Oakland.
That is close. Cutler always seems to "ugly" up plenty of fantasy points, but I think I would go with Ryan. Dallas is not strong in secondary. I expect the Cowboys, like most teams, try to stop Turner and make Ryan beat them.
for the defense, I would go with NO just because Minny plays Pitt. For TE, I think Davis is the play. I like Shiancoe, but he is so dependent on TDs with five in his 17 receptions. Hard to count on that vs Pitt this week.
