I need a BYE week fill in for a QB and there's not much to choose from. SO unless someone drops a QB, I'm looking at:

Losman vs MIN

Collins vs DAL

Huard vs SF

Walter vs CLE

Help me pick one! Also, I have a chance to get the WR/TE Colston but would have to drop Crotchery; is this worth it?

I would do the simple Plummer for Santana deal. Even though I am not a fan of many in that other deal, it is NOT slanted in your favor at all.

Yeah I didn't like it either even though I think Stallworth is going to be a stud and reports are coming out that L Washington is going to take some of Barlow's carries.The best QB on waivers though is JP Losman.

First off, I would definitely drop Cotch if you can get Colston as a TE.On the QBs, I would look at Walter or Huard. I like the QBs coming off bye. Many around here are much better at the WDIS questions than I am, but I starting mLJordan and Moss this week in my leagues in hopes of improvement off of the bye week.

I would drop dayne or barlow instead of mrob (prob dayne). plus, i would grab losman over tgreen. who knows when he is coming back and how effective he will be.

oh man. Than is a tough one for me. I have heard rave reviews on Cutler and everyone looks at his upside. But, Frye is starting now. There is never any assurance that Cutler will develop and start, much less be productive enough to be a fantasy starter. I think Frye, with Winslow and Edwards back, is a startable fantasy QB now. So, I will take Frye, but not by much. And, primarily on the basis of current production and lack of quantifying "potential" on prospects like Cutler. Even if Cutler develops into a starter, who says he will be a better fantasy starter than Frye?

Droughns says he is ready has a good matchup but is he really ready - haven't heard from the coachs yet. Not sure about Dillon at all.

Lots of question marks. Maybe I would be better off starting 3 RB's Dillon, Droughns and Taylor or if I here Gore is out M Robinson for sure. And go with Jennings, Henry and TJ and hope that both the Cincy WR's can score some points - with CJ it is certainly problematic.

Which way would you go - who and why.

I only think you have 7 viable options to pick 6. You have the three RBs and 4 WRs. I think you start 3 RBs and 3 WRs, especially if Stallworth is out I would. I see the 3 RBs as all being better options (esp in non-ppr) than either Jennings or Henry. Housh is a gimme. If Stallworth is out, you play both Henry and Jennings. If Stallworth is playing, I think you have to start him and choose between Heny and Jennings. I would "lean" to Jennings over Henry just because how few games Palmer throws for so much, CJ gets squat, and Rudi does little. I think it evens out and I would not want both Bengal WRs.Hope this helps.

I like your team a LOT in a 14 team league. I know how frustrating having Moss can be. I have him in all 3 redrafts. You do have a good team. I would not do that deal. I think Housh will be close in production to CJ and Parker is atleast equal to edge ... and I think mcnabb is a strong upgrade over brady this year. Since you only start one RB, plus the flex, I might try to trade a depth RB for a WR depth upgrade. I would look at trading either Barber to the Julius owner or Norwood to the Dunn owner for a good startable WR.

I would wait until after this week to trade Jordan. I expect the Raiders to come out strong this week with some pride ... for a change. I would also prefer Mason to Moulds. Also, in a redraft, I would not trade for Bush. He is overvalued in redrafts. If Jordan can have a good week, and you want Dunn, I would try Jordan and Mason for Dunn and Edwards. Braylon will surprise this year, I think.

I'm undecided between Favre or Bulger for week 4.

Seems like they're both in the top 5 on most cheatsheets this week.

My league gives 1 point/every 20 passing yards, 6 points per TD pass, 5 point bonus @ 300 passing yards, another 5 @ 350 yards, etc. , -1 point per interception.

My gut says stay with the hot hand in Favre, but Bulger's playing a cupcake Detroit passing D.

I have Green and Lewis in different leagues. I have a feeling this is the week Ahman has an off week. The Eagles usually squash the Packers. I could see Favre throwing a ton late to make it close, so Green might get some passes, but I do not see a ton of running room. Lewis will have difficulty running against the Chargers, especially witht he Chargers coming off of bye to prepare. If he is healthy, which all accounts lead to, I would start Dillon. I think the Pats will give him the ball a ton versus his old team.on the WRs, I would not start Branch until I see how he will be used in that offense. I'm undecided between Favre or Bulger for week 4.Seems like they're both in the top 5 on most cheatsheets this week.My league gives 1 point/every 20 passing yards, 6 points per TD pass, 5 point bonus @ 300 passing yards, another 5 @ 350 yards, etc. , -1 point per interception.My gut says stay with the hot hand in Favre, but Bulger's playing a cupcake Detroit passing D.

I looked it up and to my surprise, Philly and Detroit are giving up similar numbers to QBs. I remember Carr and the Texans throwing on the Eagles. I would go Favre and expext a 2 TDs and 250-275 yds and 1-2 Ints. He will be throwing a ton late to make it close®.

I do not even like that deal. As bas as Droughns as been, he is still pretty equal to Foster. I see Foster's value going down over this year ... either for injury or lack of production. If Chambers has another clunker and Bryant a decent game, I might float out the swap at QB and swapping the WRs.But, after thinking about it, I am not so sure Brady will outproduce Favre. I think Favre has another good game Monday night. Then, the guy (with Brady playing conservative vs Cincy) might offer you a sweatheart deal.

I understand your hesitancy at QB. I would probably look for Favre or McNair cheap. I have found Leftwich and Frye, both young qb prospects, to be cheap to acquire. I felt I needed a vet QB and acquired McNair for Sinorice Moss. I felt this was cheap QB insuance.I think Favre might come VERY cheap since most assume this is his last year. This is why I would go cheap. I am not a great WDIS guy, but I think I would go with Huard coming off a bye. I see that game as a shhotout. I expect Minny to try to keep the score low with good defense and ball control. I know it is enticing, but I think Fitz is too strong of prospect to give away. I think you can win with Kitna and Pennington ... or at least until you get a better trade. I guess my sticking point is that it is dynasty. In dynasty, I try to build strength and depth at rb and wr and can bandaid qb and te if need be. I do think Brooks is coming back. How strong is anybody's guess. I also think you can acquire a favre or bledsoe pretty cheap for this year (next, too, possibly for Bledsoe). But, to answer this question, for dynasty, keep the young stud rbs/wrs unless you get a great deal

i do not know how great the advice is/was, but I will give it a try:culpepper. teams are throwing on hou like water through a sieve.i like brown and gore. brown because it is hou and gore because i like the matchup and expect a shootout. i look for a saint let down after monday nite (sorry). this is a tough game for the saints. i would, however, start bush if gore is out. but, all i have read points to gore as healthy.wayne and housh are gimmes in ppr. both are studs. i read where wayne said he would play. i might look for a dedication-type game in memory of his brother where he (wayne) goes off for a big game. now, the tough one is glenn vs edwards. the easy answer is glenn if to is out and edwards otherwise. but, to made the trip but is a game time decision. even with to, glenn should be decent. to might start/play as a decoy mainly. so, glenn, but especially so if to is out.hope this helps.

I see Bush and Gore as pretty equal in redrafts. And, losing Matt Jones would not hurt you. But, I think I would rather have Favre than Bulger. In addition, I see Favre and Bledsoe as pretty even. I guess I am disappointed by the Ram offense so far. I think SJax probably has the biggest improvement in the offense. The timing is off and the offense looks out of sync. If you are still worried, I might try:McNair/Gore for Bledsoe/Bush or even throw in Jones. He should not play a ton with your WRs. If you are good with Favre, I think you might be able to make a run at SJax depending on the other owner. He has a ton of Rams and might be too big of homer to trade SJax. I might see if the other guy would take: Gore/TJones/MJones for SJax. But, I have been optimistic of Favre and continue to be. The guy is going to have a great year.

I see Bush and Gore as pretty equal in redrafts. And, losing Matt Jones would not hurt you. But, I think I would rather have Favre than Bulger. In addition, I see Favre and Bledsoe as pretty even. I guess I am disappointed by the Ram offense so far. I think SJax probably has the biggest improvement in the offense. The timing is off and the offense looks out of sync. If you are still worried, I might try:McNair/Gore for Bledsoe/Bush or even throw in Jones. He should not play a ton with your WRs. If you are good with Favre, I think you might be able to make a run at SJax depending on the other owner. He has a ton of Rams and might be too big of homer to trade SJax. I might see if the other guy would take: Gore/TJones/MJones for SJax. But, I have been optimistic of Favre and continue to be. The guy is going to have a great year.

Here's the deal: Down by 10 and my opponent has L.J. Smith and the PHI defense. I know the odds are long and I need a monster game and I know I *should* start the metronome consistent Driver. But after last week's sleepy performance from DD does anyone think that Jennings has a better shot at a monster game. I'm thinking I need somewhere in the neighborhood of 130 yards and 2 TD's to have a shot gettin' the W. Should I stick with the safe play (Driver) or swing for the fences (Jennings)? Am I nuts for even considering this? TIA

I have more serviceable RBs than I can start, so my main strategy is to package 2 together and in return get a single, better RB.

The Tom Brady owner in my league wants to trade me for Brett Favre. I like the swap, but I want to hold out for an RB upgrade as well.

I do not even like that deal. As bas as Droughns as been, he is still pretty equal to Foster. I see Foster's value going down over this year ... either for injury or lack of production. Personally, I like the deal for you, but I would counter a little to see if I could squeeze more out of the deal. He has Benson so Jones is a natural fit. I would probably ask for:Favre/jones/droughns

You take two flier on potential that the other guy would have to drop anyway. Jacobs, if a Tiki injury, could be gold. Warner, only because Leinart is a rook and who knows how that will play out

no way would i give all of that for bledsoe, colston, and watson. I think you are giving up the higher value than getting if you trade for SJax and Bulger. It should be difficult for the other guy to turn that down.I do think that most still hold Gore high after the first two games, so you might keep that in mind.

you have a good team. First of all, I would not drop Leinart. He will be starting this week and he might carry you down the stretch when the weather turns bad for Grossman.I can totally see dropping the Bengal defense. This is a good move. I doubt someone picks them up after the last couple of weeks.On the TEs, Clark is the only one of the three that start at TE for their team. Wrighster will take a backseat when Marcedes comes back fully. Wilcox got action with Heap nicked. Scaife is an interesting option but Troupe got a ton of looks, too. Clark looked really good. I would still keep Watson for another game to see if anything improves. hope this helps.
