Warner's trade value (1 Viewer)

Warner's value is probably as high as it's going to be. I have Cutler and Warner and was thinking of trying to upgrade at another position. What are you guys getting for Warner or what kind of offers are you getting.

I'm thinking I could use some help at RB or WR, what do you think?

My team:

Cutler, Warner

S Jackson, Barber, C Johnson, S Young

A Johnson, Jennings, S Moss, V Jackson, D Henderson

Winslow

Rackers

Buffalo, Minnesota

Wrong forum, but I don't really see why you would think Warner's value is at a high right now. He's just performing as he did for the last 8 weeks of last year. Best WR tandem in football to throw to as well. He's a bit of an injury risk, but who isn't? Brady? Manning? Young? Favre?

agreed with wrong forum but Warner is a sell high right now when he is his backup QB. If you can land a decent RB/WR for him take it before he gets injured. I think a perfect passing rating is a good indicator he won't have any better games than that.

He is being traded straight up in my league for Julius Jones. Guess I should have offered for him when I had the chance...

With the division suddenly wide open, it's less likely that Leinart is a bad game or two away from starting, and Warner looks even more valuable. I offered Warner/Stewart for Santonio but I reckon there'll be some back-and-forth.

You offered Warner and Jonathan Stewart for Santonio Holmes? Really?

"Before he gets injured". I have a whole roster full of players that are healthy. Should I trade them while I still can?As far as the perfect passer rating goes, yeah continuing to be perfect is tough but how does that automatically translate into a reason to unload him?

:lmao: Warner has shown that he can consistantly be a top tier QB when he's started for Zona and because of injury concerns and everything else attached to his name I have a hard time believing that a Warner owner could get his full value in a trade right now so unless I get a great offer on him he's staying on my roster.I really don't think he's a sell high or a buy low at this point

I traded him with Slaton and Andre Johnson for Addai and DeSean Jackson. Not a value play now, but I think I make out well after the bye week for Addai.

I wasn't aware that so many people on the board were with the interenet police. How is this the wrong forum? It's not a should I do this trade thread.

Just asking what people are getting or being offered for him. Why would I let him sit on my bench if I can upgrade at another position.

And to those that actually posted useful information, thanks.

I was offered Warner & Cothery (or R Williams) for SJAX !!!!I really need a QB but c'mon....
That sounds very fair to me. I'd jump on it if you have 2 other startable RBs & need a QB.
Its a 3 keeper league and have ADP, DWill, JStew. If JStew was the primary back I suppose I could accept the trade.

considering where he was drafted in most leagues and the fact that he looks like he may very well way outperform his draft posiiton, I don't know that trading him right now is the thing to do......

let's assume he stays healthy and that AZ stays in it all year.....I think you have to assume this when thinking about dealing him.....

dude is going to be in top 5 at the QB position.....don't you want that guy on your team.....after Romo, Brees, Manning, maybe Cutler, who else do you want right now....

I fell that much of Warner's value lies in the fact that he is on your roster and not on somebody else's roster right now.....do you want to go up against him....probably not.....I would rather have him in my lineup or on my bench then helping somone else win games....this is where I do not think you will get a good return on him......to me he is almost untouchable....even if I have a top guy like those I listed, if one of those guys gets hurt, Warner is the type of guy that will make your team not miss a beat...

right now and throughout the year he will be a #1 QB for most people and if not, at least the best #2 there is....not sure what a deal would look like, but it would have to be crazy good at a couple of positions to add up to his value.....because noone is going to give you one stud that equals his value.......

sell high means sell him when his ceiling is at its highest and get the most you can for him. which is now IMO. he's looked terrific. keep in mind guys, that i'm talking about Warner as a FF backup on this guy's team.

thats just it, I realize he was drafted as a backup for most people, but assuming he stays healthy and AZ stays in it, fantasy wise, name the QB's you would rather have pulling the trigger for you right now......how many guys should he really take a back seat to......?the best plaay might be to trade your "other guy" and try to get a decent backup for Warner and something else to help your team, and then ride Warner to the playoffs....

 I have Warner & McNabb & it will usually be a real close one but like you stated.. unless I'm getting a great deal.. I will just keep both & hope they both don't get injured.
