Just heard on fox sports radio an analyst (reported by Mike Harmon -Foxsports.com) say that Jones was downgraded from P to Q with his groin. Any other confirmation out there?

News: Jaguars linebacker Mike Peterson was upgraded to probable for Jacksonville's game Monday night against defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh, while receiver Matt Jones was added to the injury report with a sore groin. Jones didn't practice Saturday and was listed as probable. "Matt has a little bit of a tight groin, so we rested him today," coach Jack Del Rio said. "He's OK. It's just that it was tight, so we kept him out of practice."

Analysis: Fantasy owners shouldn't be overly concerned with the injury, but monitor his status on Monday just in case. He remains a nice No. 3 or 4 Fantasy receiver for Week 2 against Pittsburgh.

Since the game isn't until Monday, I don't expect any news until then. I've seen him listed as probable so you'll either need to take a chance on him or play it safe and put in someone else.

I would not trust any Irvin comments on how hard rocks are, never mind a player's status. I sure would like to get an update on this before the late games start though....
