This is the game I am most looking forward to watching today, aside from the obvious one in Chicago today. This game, imo, will be like a street fight. Both teams have to win to stay alive, both teams are running teams, good defenses, etc. Can't wait.

:thumbup:Agreed - they both have the same ethos: run the ball and stop the run. I think turnovers rule the day here. Tarvaris Jackson has the ability to negate anything that Peterson gives that team with mistakes, and I view him as being more prone to that than Collins is. I'm also interested in seeing what speedy WR's like Moss and ARE can do on that fast turf in the dome. Anyway, cool December matchup.

With the Saints loss, the Redskins now control their own playoff destiny. If they win their last two games, they're in.

Vikes win tonight and they are in. :lmao:
:yes:This game is a collision between teams that have a lot at stake. This is what football in week 16 should be about. :lmao:
And I've never felt so relaxed about a game that means so much. :lmao:In a normal season I'd be down to the bones under the finger nails 2 mintues after kickoff. Now  they already won 2 more games than I thought they would. Seeing as people thought I was :loco:  for predicting 6 wins I've already won. :lmao: :banned: Add in the fact no work tomorrow and it is :suds: time. :lmao: :lmao:

I'm a little more wound up about this game. This 'Skins team has been through an emotional grinder this year, some of it its own fault, some not. I'd love for them to make the playoffs as a form of vindication given that the one thing they haven't done is pack it in. I have no illusions about them making a playoff run - just getting their this particular year would be a huge reward.

Big $$ bonus for Petersen heading into tonight as well. A little more incentive for tonight's game. Teammaking the playoffs, NFL Rushing Title.... :goodposting:

LT2 - 1311

ADP 33 yds back

I am completely in the same frame of mind tonight. I didn't expect the Purple to even sniff the playoffs in 2007...and thought they might win 5-6 games. To have a prime time game for the Vikings that actually means something in December is a "bonus" in my book. I still think their offense is a season or two away from being ready to do any damage in the post-season...but having an extra game (or two?) in January this year would be awesome.Win or lose over the next two weeks, I have to say that the past 5-6 weeks have been incredibly fun to watch. Do I hope the Vikings beat the Redskins tonight? I would be lying if I said it didn't matter to me. Will I be devastated if they DON'T pull out the "W?" No...a bit disappointed by the wasted opportunity for a bit of post-season experience for the younger players, but they'll live to fight another day regardless...

This should be a good one, but being the optimist that I am, I feel another heartbreaking loss by the Redskins coming on. It would only sum up the season.

Okay, here's a question. If they win tonight, they are 9-6. The Giants figure to lose to the Pats on Saturday, which would make them 10-6. The Vikings already beat New York head-to-head, giving them the tie-breaker for the # 5 seed. Question is, would the Vikings even play Peterson against Denver in week 17 merely to get the 5 seed instead of the 6 seed?<AD owner with a W17 title game... I also have Chester though>

Feel EXACTLY the same way. Just wondering how they will find a way to stay in it and then crash and burn in some ridiculous way.Except insert "Vikings" for Redskins.C'mon, it's been a cold, snowy, blowy day. Give us something to get fired up about. Just play one more good game Jackson./Begins doing finger stretching exercises so they don't cramp up from crossing all through the game/

Dallas win and GB loss so Dallas has nothing to play for in week 17...check.

Saints loss.....check.

Redskins win?................GO SKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need Gates to stay within 11 of Min Def to win a championship. Whats the odds of that? Most weeks I would think that is pretty good shape but Gates being banged up is a little risky. I still say I am about 80% to win?

I'd say 80% sounds about right. I have Gates tomorrow too.

Wow, from one ####### to another.

Washington has 4th and goal from the 1 and gives it to the FB instead of their 50 million dollar RB, and the FB gets stopped on a play he should've certainly gotten in on.

Then, Minnesota gets it on their own one inch line and also passes up on their super stud RB to give it to the FB, who can't get out of the endzone for a safety.

I guess it shouldn't surprise me that these guys have been two of the most criticized coaches in the league this year.

Sellers is a very solid short yardage back, he did get in imo, and Gibbs only gets criticism from fans of other teams...hes loved in Washington and everyone wants him to return next year.
