First of all about my team. I'm loaded offensively but don't have that much pitching and my WHIP is dead last.. I could also use some help in the Steals catagory. So here's the trade..

I give up:

Pujoles - This guy is struggling for a first overall pick.. BIG TIME!

Russel Martin

Edgar Retneria

Matt Holiday

For:

Jose Reyes - an absolute stud, and cancels out the Pujols end of the deal

Justin Morneou - Another guy I think will have solid stats at the end of the year.

Ichiro - I think Holliday is the better player, but Ich will give me some more speed.

Tim Hudson - Hudson looks sick (in a good way) this year, as his WHIP is below 1.00!!

What's the play here? This seems to favor me here yes?

You also have to get rid of a pitcher, presumably, to make this deal. What does your staff look like?

I don't have to get rid of a pitcher. Don't look now but Pujols has been heating up (ended a 12 game hitting streak today). Holliday is a beast and Martin may be the best all around catcher (decent ba, hr, steal, rbi, run potential). Renteria is decent but not a big deal.

In return you get Reyes a bona fide stud. Morneau who is a decent power and average guy), Ichiro who is underperforming and not stealing bases and a very good Tim Hudson.

None of those guys are bad...but do you really NOT want Pujols and Holliday on your team???? This trade is not worth it. Why suffer through a bad month of Pujols and then trade him where he will go off for the next four months.

Not a big fan of Ichiro, and Hudson is bound for a correction. He's been good this year, but he's also been getting lucky.

I'd agitate to get Ichiro replaced wif someone else.

I offered Pujols for Penny and Saito and got turned down. How the mighty have fallen.

I was worried after two weeks, but tried to persevere. Now, I'm really starting to get concerned.
