I gave:

Chipper Jones 3B

Troy Glaus 3B/SS

Sammy Sosa OF

I have a lot of HRs in the lineup already and don't need the power numbers (I lead the league in HRs without any contribution Sosa since i just picked him up, and very little contribution from Glauss since he's been hurt most of the year). I don't really need saves, but I like the ratios that Saito brings and I could always move some saves later on. Also, it's a keeper, so I'd be looking strongly at keeping Rollins (we keep 2 batters, he'd go with Beltran).

I like it - no way do Chipper and Sosa last the year without stints on the DL - IMHO

I traded away Chipper as well as his value will never be higher. The dude is on fire right now.

I love it.

While Chipper is playing awesome and Glaus is good when healthy, you are getting a GREAT 3B in return for Chipper, and the pickup of Saito and Rollins seals the deal.

Glaus will eventually be a drain on BA plus his injury problems. Sosa is huge hit to BA and the handful of homers he hits won't make up for the lack of SBs.

Great trade.

You get help in Saves, WHIP and ERA (and not bad Ks for a closer) from Saito

You get help in BA, HR, RBI and R from Atkins

You get BA, R, SB, HR from rollins

You give up

BA, HR, R, RBI and a few SBs from Chipper

You give up not much from Sosa except a few HRs which is more than offset by the low BA and no SB

You give up HR and RBI from Glaus
