Ministry of Pain

Not the most interesting game of the week but there are some key players on a lot of rosters.

Go!

Washington drives down to FG range, then loses about 25 yards in 2 plays.

Swift starting for Detroit, but we'll see how the carries get split.

Frustrating to watch The WFT ride Gibson and McLaurin into the redzone on first two possessions only to feed McKissic and net 3 total points.  C'mon man......

Stafford getting his throwing hand taped. Doesn't initially look like anything from contact, but just to put it out there.

ADP picking up yards, too. Rather have swift out there, but running game's looking good so far.

Then Cephus drops an easy catch.

After a catch, Amendola tries to hand the ball back to Jones, who ends up ahead of Danny by the time he gets it. Lions' drive stalls partially because of it.

But Prater (who's been unusually shaky from distance) is clutch this time.

Gotta love WTF deciding to run their offense through journeyman McKissic.

thats sound football strategy right there. Norv Jr. is in over his head. Danny needs to fire him like he did his daddy.

Lions bend, then break on 4th and 13.

And of course Washington gives the TD to McKissic.

Into the 4th!

lions up 2 TDs but Washington carving the D up this drive and last. Will Detroit hold? Will McKissic get 10 targets this quarter? Which bad coach will claim the right to not lose against a mediocre-to-bad team?

Chase Young catches Stafford's Face mask (not grabbed, but touched).

Penalty picked up. Comeback continues.

Honestly - I think he's been solid. In a year or so with a season under his belt - I bet he's pretty good.
I've been flipping around. I think he's bringing some technical knowledge and he can at least see a replay and maybe admit that he's wrong on first blush unlike other guys, but he's not polished in the least. His accent sort of hurts him. And there he goes: "I couldn't ask for no more than this." "Man..."

Talib honestly sounds uneducated HOWEVER he knows exactly what he is viewing, kind of like a Romo for the defensive minded and he isn't afraid to say how he feels. I vote keep him in the booth at all costs, this could be priceless in a few weeks.

Run's working, so Lions throw passes to help Washington's cause.

Lions go up by a FG, which surely is enough given the way this D has played this half >.>

I don't believe for one second the WFT is trying to score a TD, it just looks like they are hoping to eek into FG range. Not even a thought of trying to win the game here after roaring from 24-3 in the 2nd half, I don't get it.
