I like Washington to cover. Haven't done a ton of research but -9 just seems like such a square pick. Line should be 10 to 13.

Would need to take a closer look, but Vegas isn't trying very hard to get you not to bet on the Eagles. Realistically any divisional game could be close / an upset. O/U is 44.5


27 to 20 Eagles win? You wouldn't think so, but Vegas says it's supposed to be close. The fact that it's 9 and not 10 is big to me. It's like Vegas is afraid they won't get enough Philly action at 9. Buy the halfpoint Redskins +9.5
 
That's why they play the games, as the saying goes. Anything can happen, and often does.

On it's face, however, there's no reason to believe this game isn't going to be a absolute massacre, and I say that as one of the longest-tenured Redskinsguys in the Pool.

Prove me wrong, fellas.
 
Skins have a habit of playing well against the Eagles, but the Eagles appear to be by far the superior team.

I'm having a hard time getting a a good feel on this one after being pretty close on the first three Eagles games this year. A Washington upset would surprise me, but not shock me. A Philly blowout by 20 would similarly surprise me, but not shock me.

The COMMANDERS surprised The Eagles last year. They will not surprise them this year especially in Philly...

PHI lost to WAS last season after Jordan Davis got hurt the week before and the PHI run defense was exposed (which they subsequently fixed with Suh and Joseph signings the next week). This year, the PHI DLine is probably better and should be able to shut down the run game. Also, Howell has been sacked 19 times so the PHI pass rush vs. the WAS OLine appears to be a serious mismatch. Howell turns the ball over too much. i don't see the WAS offense being able to do much.

PHI on offense should be able to do whatever they want.

I think the Eagles move to 4-0 in a laugher. 37-17, game over midway through the 3rd.
 
Should be a fun game for Eagles fans. Commanders just gave up 9 sacks, have given up the most in the league to date. Interior line will have problems like most teams do against our interior defensive line. I expect this game to look like a "back on track" sort of game where people go "Oh this is the Eagles team from last year"

38-13. Sacks, turnovers, maybe a pick 6. Will be ugly.
 
Eagles are better across the board, Dline, Oline, QB, RB, WRs, secondary, etc.
At home, against a team that kinda shocked them last year, they need a get right game and I think this is it. Everyone eats today, AJ gets his first TD of the year and Davante grabs 2. Maybe a def TD and take the over on Eagles sacks.

Everything logical says the Eagles will route Washington. However....I've seen a lot of crazy things happen with these divisional games. I'm hoping for a HUGE upset, but I sure wouldn't bet against the Eagles today ;)

Normally I would agree with you, but the Redskins beat the Eagles last year at home so I think the Eagles aren't going to have a letdown in this game.
 
It won’t be easy for the Commodores. Howell will fumble once, twice, three times and they will sail on back to Washington with a loss.
 
See, everyone liking the Eagles makes me like the Redskins even more. Vegas is up to their usual tricks.

sheesh, kind of like the defense has been smelling themselves too much, and haven't really come to play today. Hope they can wake up before it gets too late
 
Hurts might as well not even be a running quarterback anymore. Whenever he gets out of the pocket he just falls down to avoid contact.

He plays too scared need to be more physical if he’s gonna run. Against a DB he needs to just run them over. Lb/dl fine fall slide etc but get physical with those DBs
 
Regardless of what happens from here on out, I'm proud Washington didn't come in and lay down. They were completely embarrassed last week, proud of the fight so far.
