**Washington at Philly** (-9, 43.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

whew

Somehow knew Washington would make this a game. Well done Commanders an Sam Howell
every year they play the Eagles tough. was it a decade ago when they went like 4-5 years straight of every game being with-in a TD, no matter how good either of the teams were?

FIrst team to 4-0......

Division games are always salty. A win is a win.
True but they don’t look as good as last year and the league (AFC and NFC) appears to be better this year. Don’t get me wrong- the Eagles are absolutely a top 5 superbowl favorite but it won’t be easy.

Don't think many people will argue against that. We look a bit worse than last year but still probably top 5, but not the favourites. Bills/Niners/Chiefs all look fantastic.

it never is. Seems like Eagles are simply playing a tougher schedule, AND haven't really played their best. I think the team IS just as good, but they aren't going to blow out nearly as many teams as they did last year

It might sound stupid, but is this D interior getting so much pressue so fast AND our ends are looping so far out that it's creating holes for QBS to escape? It seems every week, that QB pocket is getting obliterated from interior pressue......but the QB steps up into the space where our Ends started out at and is able to pick up positive yardage.

And I'm sorry Terry's catch was good. It just was. :wall:
I thought it was good as well but it was called incomplete on the field.

His toe was out of bounds. It was close, but the call was correct.
There was green between his toe and the white paint. Was clear as day
Agreed but it was way too close to overturn. It was a ridiculously close call that I can’t fault the refs at all.

If you agree that there was green between his shoe and the white paint, it wasn’t too close to overturn. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The Eagles keep winning,I give them credit. But something isn't quite right.
If the pass rush doesn’t get there, the pass defense is not good.

It feels like Hurts is playing in quicksand at times. He doesn’t seem to want to run anymore and he only seems comfortable throwing to Brown and Smith deep or on the sideline.

Johnson is calling a totally different game than Steichen did. The Eagles are running about 50% less RPOs and play action passes than last season. There were a couple runs today where he did what he did last year, but for the most part he's just getting down before contact. There is no point running a QB draw if he's going to slide after gaining a yard, just hand it off at that point.

I'd be fine if they took the draw out completely.

Man, I woke up and just finished watxhing that nailbiter of a game. So many times, I almost broke my TV, but I’ll take the Dicision win against a team that always plays us super tough.

Kudos to Washington. Howell looked really good today. The Oline looked good for them, and their D played really, really well. Some great players on that team. New life since jettisoning Danny Boy into the sun.
