"Everyone's favorite underwear thief is younger, tougher and coming off a season in which he averaged a ridiculous 6.73 yards per carry. Equally impressive, 61.2 percent of his yards came after contact."
This should be a bigger story.
Cowboys high on RBs Darren McFadden, Ryan Williams
Thanks but I still want to know how Randle got younger.

Williams is very much a sleeper / buy low. I just grabbed him as the 105th player in our rookie draft (IDP, vets included). Most likely he'll be an easy cut, but at that value why not take the chance? I usually don't like taking players who haven't had a meaningful carry in over 2 years, but Dallas seems to like him.

Geno Smith is a big time sleeper. He is cheap and can net you good return. He finally has some weapons and a competent offensive coordinator.

You're missing the most important thing though, HE'S NOT GOOD. Smith is not an NFL caliber QB. My pick would be Bradford this year.

He has been in the league two years with no weapons and bad coaching, everyone has to be a stud year one I suppose.

In the same breathe you bring up another bad QB who is not NFL caliber either if Geno isnt.

Bradford has some talent, but he's always hurt.

Geno is bad. Really, really bad.

Both are hot garbage, but if forced to choose, I'd take the guy who is decent when healthy.

I watched a few of his games on Game Rewind and here were my notes:

Raiders - Salas dropped a 27 yard TD

- Woodson made a great play for an INT

- Fumble on a run near the goal line

Packers - hit while throwing INT

Bears - Bad INT on screen play, result pick 6

- Down 11 in 3rd quarter and forced a pass in the endzone for INT

Lions - All around terrible game for the Jets

- hit while throwing INT

Chargers - meaningless INT at end of half

Out of the 6 INT's he threw in these games there were only 3 that I considered all his fault - the Raiders INT (Woodson read him), the Bears pick 6, and the Bears end zone INT (they were down 11 but it was a dumb play).

Things I liked were his short accuracy (early in the season and then started getting jumpy) and willingness to deliver ball in the pocket under pressure.

Couple other notes - he was under pressure most of the time in these games and had to throw a lot of balls away. Decker is not a #1 receiver and he didn't have much else to work with.

Will try to get through the rest of the season when I get time.

I watched him in college and in the NFL. I never thought he was all that great in college and had a good feeling eh wouldn't be good in the NFL. I'll give him a little credit and wait to see how he does with competent management this year though. The Jets have been one of the worst run organizations in the NFL the last 5 years.

Spending the week watching breakout candidates for this fall. Just studied SF WR Bruce Ellington...explosive, inside/outside flexibility
Doesn't matter. He's got K-Stink at QB.
I'm not a Kaep fan but he hasn't been terrible. Each year his completions, passing yards, completion percentage and rushing yards have increased. The two biggest problems last year were that his TDs decreased and his INTs increased.

Bradford ? Is will he stay healthy.

G. Smith finally has an O.C. and talent around him to take advantage.

B. Quick on the verge of breaking out last year and got hurt, takes big step forward if he doesn't get injured this year.

J. Randle. He didn't get cut for a reason. Time to reward Jerry.

C. Simms. Only has a broken down mighty mouse ahead of him, should be a good back this year.

B. Hartline its him and Bowe but he should put up comparable numbers without the cost.

Rotoworld:

Saints WRs Brandon Coleman and Seantavius Jones have been "used a lot with the ones" in OTAs.

ESPN Saints reporter Mike Triplett has called Coleman and Jones players to "(keep) on your radar screen." Coleman is a massive 6-foot-6, 225 pounds, and ran a 4.56 40-yard dash at last year's Combine. Targets are there for the taking after Kenny Stills and Jimmy Graham were sent packing.

Rotoworld:

Saints second-year WR Seantavius Jones appears to be ahead of Brandon Coleman on the depth chart at OTAs.

Prepare yourself for plenty of Jones and Coleman blurbs on Rotoworld over the next few months. They are competing for playing time with Nick Toon behind Brandin Cooks and Marques Colston. 6-foot-3 and 208 pounds, Jones ran 4.53 with impressive vertical (38 1/2") and broad (10'5") jumps before going undrafted in 2014. He's worth monitoring in a fairly wide-open Saints receiver corps.

Rotoworld:

ESPN Saints reporter Mike Triplett calls WRs Seantavius Jones and Brandon Coleman "standouts" through OTAs.

Triplett admits he's in danger of "overhyping" the second-year wideouts, but they've caught his attention all spring. The fact that New Orleans didn't draft a receiver after trading away Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills lends some credence to Triplett's observations. Jones and Coleman are fighting for snaps behind Brandin Cooks and Marques Colston. Looking good in pad-less practices is obviously not a bad thing, but it's August that matters for Jones and Coleman.

My thoughts as of today....

Sleepers:

Nelson Agholor- I do not like anything Eagles, HOWEVER....this kid looks great in OTA's and since Kelly has brought him in, he is going to get every opportunity to get looks. They have a balanced attack with Murray in the back field. Chip has a vested interest in this pick suceeding. I predict OROY.

Mike Wallace- Up and coming QB, having ADP to keep safeties in the box and playing home games on turf help things align for Wallace this year.

Jo Randle - I think he wins the larger share of Cowboys touches and has a big year behind the best run blocking line in the NFL. McFadden and Williams get carries but Randle gets 60+ % (This is IF the Cowboys don't make a trade)

Eli Manning- He is often over looked in Fantasy circles, but with ODB and a potentially healthy Cruz I could see Manning representing some value this year.

Busts or Under Performers:

Gronk- Brady suspension, tougher schedule and an improving AFC East I see a very mediocre year and likely someone is over drafted Gronk.

Julius Thomas - Product of his system and QB in Denver, over rated talent and going to the Jags, nuff said. I want no part of him.

TY Hilton-Will still put up OK numbers, but an improved run game and Andre Johnson and the rest of the recieving corps will put a significant dent in his numbers from last year. I see the Colts "trying" to be less run and gun to protect the ball better and give their awful D a rest.

Marshawn Lynch- Jimmy Graham steals some Red Zone looks and he is getting up in age and he takes a beating. His risk factor is higher this year for me and I will be cautious.

Drew Brees- I think the Saints could be a dumster fire this year and Brees will always get over drafted by repuation.

CBS had listed Virgil Green as the starting TE with the Broncos.

Has to be Owen Daniels right? Or did I miss anything? He's still on the waiver in my league... Hmmm...

I'd have to drop Chris Matthews then... what you say?
