Wayne/Harrison Combo? (1 Viewer)

Has anybody done this intetionally or by chance this season? How about last season? Did it work out? Did you hate it? Thoughts. Also a link to a WR/WR same team thread would be cool. I couldn't find one. TIA

I was put in this predicament in my last draft and first offered Harrison to the TO owner so I could draft Wayne, he passed. I didnt want to put all my eggs in the Colts basket so I passed on Wayne and took Fitzgerald. Part of me was thinking that it would work since if one of them had a down game, the other surely would have a good/great one. Also it's not out of the question that both do well together more often then not since both are pretty consistent. I just wanted to eliminate some risk of the bad Colts game or even the possibility of the Colts resting players down the stretch. Hope it doesn't backfire.

I had both Harrison and Wayne last season and it worked out great for me, considering the rest of my team. I only finished 7-6 and missed the playoffs, but at RB I had the two biggest busts in the NFL, Cadillac Williams and LaMont Jordan.

I personally would take Harrison for another year, but I'm really interested how you can get a shot at both guys.

Both will be money this season, but I like Wayne better. I'd suggest taking TO instead of Harrison and then take Wayne if he's still available.

I had the 2nd pick in a 12 teamer. Took Harrison at 2.11 and Wayne at 3. 2
Same here - 12-teamer, non-PPR, redraft - #2 pick. Some real reaches made my leaguemates in the first round - no WR's taken at all by 2.11. I'd been contemplating the strategy for the last week, but I didn't think Harrison would stretch to me, let alone be the first WR taken. Ended up being able to back up SJax with Ahman in the 4th and Jamal in the 6th, with Lee Evans sandwiched in between. Guess some guys were really worried about his first several weeks' matchups.Or, it could have been the same strange choices that left Norwood on the board at 9.02! Either way, week 6 is going to hurt a lot (Colts + Evans off), but I'll sacrifice it for the points they are sure to put up this year in total. I'm thinking Braylon and Jacoby can try to fill in for at least a week.I guess we'll see in December. Go Colts, and whatever offense is playing them every week! :(

picked 1.04 in a 12 teamer, QB Flex league. There was a mini-run on QBs in the middle of the 2nd and only Steve Smith was off the board (picked right before me). Kinda wish I went TO/Wayne now....screw it!

It would actually seem like a great idea if you want consistent production out of your WRs this season. Each guy is guaranteed to have a big game if the other does not. So one week you may get Harrison with 7/130/1 and Wayne with 4/50/0. Its a lot better than having Wayne that week on a week where TO gets shut down and only has 4/50/0 himself.
