WCD **Miami at New England** (-2.5, 41) (1 Viewer)

Say what you will about the Patriots, but their games have been pretty entertaining this year. You never quite know what you're going to see from play to play.

Skylaaaaaar time!!!
Apparently does not work that way
Team actually should be winning going away today
So sad how they are ending the season
Remember when it was 8-3?

We don't hear much from the Miami faithful that thought it might be a deep Playoff run this year
I feel horrible for the majority of the Miami fan base that was ready to laugh in our face mid season
Back to business as usual if you are a Miami Dolphins fan \
Feel so bad for people that align with Stephen Ross and his grand plan now to sell the team to his family/daughter
:ropetohangmyself:

Did anyone really think Teddy B was going to be able to finish a football game?
Laughable how much of a back up puss wuss he is
Always getting hurt or nailed or drilled or hurt or nailed or drilled or hurt or nailed or drilled....

I will go on a murderous rampage if I hear another BK commercial. I swear to god.
I have a post about this with @rockaction

Epic!!!

It's the worst and one of the reasons I tend to just keep Red Zone playing even when I want to watch the local team, worst commercial ever
I throw the remote at the TV anytime it runs, already broke 1 screen, seriously
New 4k TV though, plays movies back on the Apps flawlessly, Sony

Miami has some QB decisions to make in the off-season. Skylar might be a good long-term back QB, but that remains TBD. With Tua's injury history, they need a quality backup QB.

Gonna call it now.

Tom Brady will be here for 2023.

Just gotta figure out what number he will wear. 12 is retired down here.

I still think Tua is going to really consider retirement this offseason. He may not retire, but I bet he really considers it.

He has to consider it heavily.

Skylar looks awful today. He will start next week no doubt. See if he has any value to keep as a backup to whomever is our starter.

We just look terrible. OL is ragged, defense in shambles….3 of our top 5 salary guys simply sat out.

They quit.

Doubt it. Unless Miami gets a better oline and some bigger WRs, like Evans (200 yards and 3 TDs today).

Play Skylar next week. See if he's a quality backup QB. He has some pocket presence and maneuverability.
Agree he needs to start. Accuracy really bad today though.
Skylar looked great in 2 drives versus MN when get cut his hand on a helmet. Remember when he made play after play on the run, but we had like 3 or 4 holding calls. Versus the NYJ, a great defense, he struggled when he came in relief. He showed something today ... play him next week!

Dolphins fans were ecstatic about their coach earlier in the season. With the second half slide.. are we still thinking he's a young genius? Is it mostly tua and injuries? Tough schedule?

Coach MM is learning. He leaned on the explosive pass play too much, now he seems to be mixing in the run more. Without Tua injuries, now twice in the year, I think Miami makes the playoffs. The defense played well today, but it's been a bottom 5 unit until today. Our star LT, Armstead, had a history of injuries - and has missed many games. Where coach MM came from, they've had a stud LT. The verdict is out on McDaniel.

I think he gets a lot of credit for building up Tua's confidence and some innovative play designs for big plays. I have to place the blame for Miami's collapse on injuries and roster construction though.

Mcdaniel has a lot to learn and we'll see how he handles this adversity.

You don't pay attention
If you did you would know the room temperature with folks like me as a fan base in Miami

We do have some lovely fans that always root for the Phins thru thick and thin, MoP is JADED
I would love for the Phins to be good
20 years...no 30 years...no 40 years of disheartened times
I say this with a wry smile but I do wish i could find another team to try and hitch the wagon to

It's like fans outside of Miami are obtuse
Owner loses our 1st round pick next season...honestly you might know this
GM trades the other 1st we had for nothing but an over priced OLB-Chubb, never heard his name today, not sure he was in uniform

Just a terrible situation for Miami since they are in Year 3-4 of a total complete strip it to the walls REBUILD
And no matter how you weigh in on Ross, he tried to fix games and break rules to bring in Tom Brady...some fans are very appreciative of Ross doing this
-I mean when all else fails over 15-20 years, you just call in everyone and say "Let's Cheat!"

8-3 collapse to 8-8

Miami was 19-15 in '20 and '21, fired that Head Coach and did announce that winning was not the overriding factor in how they were going to measure the Head Coaching position
Those are Stephen Ross' words and thoughts, not MOP
Please allow that to be your guiding light

The injuries have been brutal.

If you tell me we get this exact team back but everyone healthy I say we are a lock for post season contention and a deep run.

As much as I am not a big fan of Tua he had a very nice season for his first year in this new offense. The injuries to our secondary and OL were tough and Tua missing time did not help.

We need some tweaking. I am going to stay positive despite yet another Dolphin collapse.

It’s gut wrenching.

How much have you had to drink between last night and tonight?
You think the same 45-53 marching in next season, we roll into a deep playoff run?

If we are completely healthy MOP. We are decimated.
