I think I had a few too many today and at other times. Brevity, not my suit. Explanatory, aye, my downfall. 

I am a bad poker player, but wonderful with the cards up. Why lie? What good has it gotten us with God or mortality other than momentary pleasure and a whiff of the hidden ecstatic?
