Weather impacted games this weekend and the players (1 Viewer)

Ministry of Pain

Need to really keep an eye on TS Hanna as she is set to skirt up the East Coast of the United States this weekend, with the latest weather reports putting it somewhere over Philly/NY...basically the Northeast. Here are the games and players you want to keep an eye on.

St Louis at Philly: I realize that the Eagles will throw the ball no matter what the conditions, but this might not be the best week to play PK Josh Brown, Marc Bulger and the entire Rams passing game might be bad choices this weekend...Steven Jackson might get 25+ carries in this game and be involved heavily in the short passing game which is likely all they can muster. I would think Akers is a bad choice possibly too.

Kansas City at New England: not sure if I would shut Brady down, but I wouldn't expect a huge game either. The Chiefs...you can forget it. They have a QB with question marks to begin with, I would avoid Gonzo and Bowe likely too if I had better choices/match ups.

Cincinnati at Baltimore: Could be a sloppy field. I doubt too many folks were going to start Flacco anyways but Palmer might have some issues. Again the PK on both sides could have a real challenge. But you have major players like Mason, Heap, Ocho-Cinco(do I really have to call him this now), TJ Housh...

Nothing is for sure but there could be a ton of rain even if the wind isn't Hurricane strength, gusts of 30+ mph is never good for the kicking and passing game.

The best choices will likely be the RBs in almost all these games, all teams as they will be leaned on heavily.

I haven't been paying too much attention to Hanna, but on NBC nightly news, Jim "Ed Hoculi" Cantori showed a tracking chart that had Hanna over Nova Scotia by 2pm on Sunday. Maybe some rain but that's it unless she slows down...?

Hanna will be gone by Sunday in all those cities. The forecast for Boston is clear after 2:00 Sunday.

Other than wet fields, Hanna shouldn't pose much of a problem on Sunday. She is moving very fast, and should be leaving the States on Sunday morning.
