Week 10 2025 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (2 Viewers)

I have one WR & two flex spots to fill in my PPR league. Need to bench one of these guys:

Jamo v WAS
C.Watson v PHI
Monangai v NYG
Chuba v NO

I believe that Chuba will see more work this week in a winnable game for the Panthers. Rico is nursing a quad and coming off a massive workload last week. I can easily see Chuba spelling him a lot more and, I suspect he may be the option near the GL.

D'Andre Swift is practicing in full but, I think he's a 1A going forward getting spelled frequently by Monangai. It's a plus matchup but, I am heavily discounting last week's performance by the Bears because Cinci is a generationally bad defense.

Watson just showed up on the injury report (Q) but, it looks like he is in line to play. Kraft is obviously out but, both Golden and Wicks had "limited" practices yesterday. I probably need to wait until tomorrow before deciding on Watson.

The Commanders are not good on defense and the Lions are hungry for a win. This has the makings of a big offensive output from Detroit. Jamo is the clear #2 with an 88% snap share (ARSB is at 89%) but his usage is all over the map with 8, 1, 7, 2 & 6 targets over his last four games. I don't mind if he's a dud on 7 targets but, being a dud on 2 targets burns. I'm also disappointed that he has only three carries on the season.

I really have no idea which one of these guys to bench.
Can't disagree on any of your comments
Detroit's offense should have their way with The Commies defense and score many points..so Williams I would play
Swift looks like he's going to play but even with that I see at least a 50/50 split and The Giants run defense is horrible...so I would play Monangai
That leaves Chuba and Watson
IF Watson is healthy I would play him over Chuba
Nothing analytical but just a gut feeling Watson is due for a multiple touchdown game
Your reasoning on Chuba is solid but I'm usually a swing for the fences guy

Thanks, as always.

I generally prefer the upside guys too, which is why Jamo has been on my roster every year since late 2022.

Everything I see says Watson has more of a precautionary Q designation and will play. My concern Golden & Wicks, they haven't been much on the field but, if they're there they potentially take away targets. I like Watson with 7-8 targets a lot more than Watson with 4-5 targets.

I think that will be the deciding factor for me. No Golden & Wicks, Watson starts. Yes Golden & Wicks, Chuba starts.

Hi, Friday check.

PPR
Terrell Jennings @ TB (assuming Rhamondre is out)
Kenneth Gainwell @ LAC

6 pt pass TDs (sizable underdog with Bowers light score)
Mac Jones vs LAR
Aaron Rodgers @ LAC

Because it's PPR, I lean Gainwell. The Chargers are actually not that strong against the run, despite being 3rd in rush attempts against. They are 17th in rush yards against, 22nd in rush TDs against (10) and 27th in y/a against (4.9) so, there are opportunities for the Steeler RBs if the game is reasonably close.

Jennings had nice usage, and got the score but wasn't involved in the passing game and only saw a 25% snap share. On 17 snaps he touched the ball 12 times. If he's in, teams know he's probably getting the ball which, limits his upside IMO.

Gainwell>Jennings
===================================

Jones has been pretty impressive in his seven starts but, he's kinda all over the map for fantasy production. Rodgers has been a lot more consistent with a TD in every game and multiple TDs in 5 of 8. Jones has multiple TDs in 4 of 7 but has two games with 0 TDs.

Rodgers>Jones

non-ppr

Got Chase and Rice on a BYE and now Tet is ailing, need 2 of the following

P.Washington @ Texans - (bad matchup, good volume)
R.Shaheed vs Cards - better matchup, low familiarity with new team
KW3 vs Cards - a total dice roll
Z.Flowers @ Vikings

Leaning Flowers and KW3 but not anywhere close to sure

Non-PPR, standard scoring league:

Vidal vs PIT
or
Etienne vs HOU

Johnston vs PIT
or
Olave vs CAR

Etienne’s matchup is brutal but Vidal did nothing last week in a plus matchup.

Olave has been consistently catching balls, but only 2 games with a TD; Johnston was back in the mix last week and caught another TD

Thank you!

Id bench Chuba. Hard to justify playing what is essentially a backup RB just based on potential game script.

I need a flex and a waiver QB.

Flex - Full PPR
Monangai (vs NYG)
Mason (vs BAL)
Loveland (vs NYG)

QB - 6 per TD
Burdy or Jones (vs LAR)
Fields (vs CLE)
Tua (vs BUF)
Penix (vs IND)
Brisset (vs SEA)
Mills (vs JAX)

Thanks!

Since it's non-ppr:

I agree on Flowers for sure. It's been a disappointing run so far but, I still think he's going to lead the Ravens in targets RoS and, he is more likely to find the endzone than a guy like Washington who should also see a solid target share this week.

Agree on KWIII. He's the lead back and the Seahawks should win against the scrappy Cards. I'd give Shaheed a week to acclimate before throwing him out there. Although with the way Darnold is playing a couple go routes may be all he needs to be relevant.

Flowers>KWIII>Shaheed>Washington

I'm going with the Chargers in both cases. The Houston defense is for real and, I am not at all sure that Shough is. Since it's non ppr even if Olave sees 10+ targets I don't expect him to do much with them.

Vidal>Etienne

Johnston>Olave

I like Loveland & Monangai but, I think Mason is in line for a bigger role than either. Aaron Jones has an AC joint sprain and, even if he plays I see him having a bit role in the passing game and most everything else going to Mason. Monangai does have good upside for opportunities, he would easily be my next choice but I still lean.

Mason>Monangai>Loveland
=========================================

I think I ride with Brissett this week. He's put up at least 260 and 2 every game including @ IND and v GB. He seems to be the best combo of stability and upside. Probably the Niner QB next but,

Brissett>QB SF

.5 PPR - Need 2

Monangai vs NYG
Marks vs Jax
Jameson vs Wash
Marks and Monangai are probably in line for similar workloads. Maybe 10-14 opportunities. I see that Swift was just given a Q designation so, there may be more opportunity for Monangai in a plus matchup.

I'm a Jamo guy and I think the Lions may put up 40+ on the Commanders but, while he's on the field 88% of the time his usage can range from 0 to 8 targets. If you need the BOOM start him otherwise

Monangai>Marks>Jamo

Tough injury year but have a chance to make a move this week:

Non ppr:

Have to fill WR 2 slot - pick one pls:
DJ Moore vs NYG
Keenan Allen vs Pitt

Have to fill Flex spot - pick one pls:
Gadsden vs Pitt
Monty @ Wash
Maybe its one of the WRs above

TIA

Here's one from me that may look a little odd. PPR scoring. Start two (and only two) of the following:

Gibbs vs Wash
Cook @ Mia
London vs Indy (in Germany)

Already have Bijan vs Indy, Puka @ SF, ARSB vs Wash in lineup. And if you're wondering "What is this ... a 3 person league?" the answer is yes 😃 ! Final 3 of a guillotine league (that started with 12). But despite having a loaded lineup, Bowers' dud on Thursday has me now projected to be cut this week :frown:

Id go with the two RBs with the easy matchup rather than the wr facing Sauce

Caleb Vs NYG
or Mayfield Vs NEP

Right now I’ve got Caleb in - riding the hot hand + defensive ranking vs the pass both seem to favor Caleb. But I figured I’d ask.

I hate to say it since I have a share, but I’d bench Gibbs in this scenario. His production has been all over the map this year.

Terrell Jennings @ TB (assuming Rhamondre is out)
Kenneth Gainwell @ LAC
Jennings for the short yardage opportunities.
6 pt pass TDs (sizable underdog with Bowers light score)
Mac Jones vs LAR
Aaron Rodgers @ LAC
Mac has been on a roll. Kinda coin flippy. ARod might have to put up numbers to keep up with LAC though. Rams D is a little better against the pass than LAC too.

Tough call. I’d probably roll the dice with ARod in prime time.

Caleb Vs NYG

Yeah, you know Caleb is boom bust, but I'd ride the hot hand too.

4 pts passing TD:
M. Jones vrs Rams
Penix at Indy

thanx guys!

Think I like Mac a bit more. Those Europe games scare me. Nothing like having your week destroyed before noon.

Kinda wish I could say Monty & Gadsden.

I think Monty is a strong flex option this week. Maybe the Commanders rally but, I'm going with the notion the Lions roll.

I like Gadsden a lot, probably going to drop Jakobi or BTJ for him but, I start Monty.

Monty>Gadsden
===================

The WR choice is tougher. I still don't have a ton of faith in Caleb to feed everyone, particularly relative to Herbert but, Keenan has cooled off and, he feels more like a spike game guy.

DJ is coming off two decent games but, again Caleb hasn't been able to sustain multiple options every week yet.

I'm going with the better QB

Keenan>DJ

Bench London IMO.

I just think the Colts are going to be pumped with the addition of Sauce. Cooks and Gibbs have great matchups and should get lots of opportunities.

Gibbs>Cook>London
