Week 10 - Buy Low/ Sell High (1 Viewer)

It just feels like someone is trying to rip me off when they give a low ball offer like that.  Last week I had a guy offer me Ertz for my McCoy.  I don't feel there is any communication needed.  We are way apart in perception of value.

As far as your question, if I am giving up Julio I am expecting either an elite player back or two top tier guys.  Arob could be part of that because there is potential he could become elite.  I don't think Crowder has that potential.  You would have to pair Arob with Bernard for me to think about it.
I think ARob and Bernard is very fair and probably still a favorable deal for me.  I see no reason to ever get upset or offended my trade offers though.  If you anyone really feels a trade offer is terrible then call them out for it.

Today a guy in another league offered me Eifert or Graham and Howard for my Mike Evans.  Evans has been consistently awesome for me and I don't trust any TE other than Gronk, Olsen and maybe Reed.  Howard has been pretty good but he's also hard to trust with Fox as the coach of the Bears.  The guy who wants him already has Julio, AB and Cooper so he's trying to get the top 4 WRs in our league.  I'm not going to make his team that powerful.  He's in my division so I don't want to improve his team any more.

Eifert/Graham + Howard for Evans is a way better offer than ARob + Duke Johnson for Julio.  Just my  :2cents:

I can see it being way better but I don't value the TE position all much.  They are also two completely different situations in two different leagues.  I know the Julio trade offer isn't great but it's just long shot.  I also offered ARob to two other people in that league.  Offered ARob and Duke for Jeffery to one guy and then ARob and Duke for Fitzgerald to another guy.

May try and get Julio by offering ARob and Duke Johnson but it may actually hurt me because of Julio's late bye week.
Don't worry,  Julio owner will reject that trade.

I have a pretty big deal on the table:

14 teams .5 ppr no flex start 3 WR

1 keeper after 7th round for next year (Booker and Howard)

RB: DeMarco, Booker, Howard, Henry, Perkins

WR: AJ, Jordy, Demaryius, T Benjamin, DGB

Rams D

I was offered Mike Evans and Denver D for either Howard/Demaryius or Booker/Jordy..

Being very trigger shy considering the keeper situation (would love to have the choice between Booker and Howard) and due to the unknowns surrounding Howard and Booker the rest of the year and it leaves me thin at RB3.  Evan's playoff schedule is super juicy..

I'm thinking Howard and Demaryius bc Demaryius has a low ceiling but all the analyzers are telling me that the Booker/Jordy deal is better.

Is Howard a good sell high?

I would take the trade and give up Booker and Jordy.

Considering there's already talk of getting Bibbs more involved, I would rather move Booker.
The messed up part of this situation is that Howard had almost no value 2 weeks ago and Booker was nearly untradeable 2 weeks ago.  Not to mention I'm playing the guy this week.  Chicago's offense scares me but so does Denver's.  2 weeks ago I would have made the Howard trade in a second.. now I'm pulling my ####### hair out

Don't think this totally fits the bill for but low sell high but I just got Mike Evans and gates for gronk and Cobb. I'm happy w Evans though gronk will b sorely missed. I think he was higher on Cobb than I was. We both lost a great player but balanced out rosters better in the process.

I think you made the right trade.  Gronk is a stud but he's only averaging 12.9 in .5 PPR.  The difference in average points per game between Gronk and Gates is only 4.37.  The difference in average points per game between Evans and Cobb is 7.29.  Evans is the best WR in fantasy football right now.  Gronk is not the difference maker he's been in past years.

Offered up Starks and Hightower for Alshon Jeffery..  Alshon owner also has ODB, Fitz, Enunwa, T.Austin, T.Benj...  Only RB's are L.Bell, Ryan Mathews, & P.Barber...  I lost K.Allen start of year.  Is this a fair, or insulting offer?  I haven't heard boo from other owner...

insulting. starks is worthless and hightower is splitting carries at best.  I don't see hightower as the more talented back of him and Ingram and I think most would agree with that.

Definitely a low ball offer but see what he says.  Hopefully he responds to the offer or maybe you just need to ask him what he wants for Jeffery.

Yeah, on the surface I see how it could be viewed as such..  But, I think Hightower has at least carved himself out a timeshare in a very good offense, regardless of how Ingram plays rest of season and finishes with Tampa x2.  The Packers are suffering, becoming one dimensional without a real RB, and, Starks fits that check-down system well.  I'm not yelling on rooftops for the guy, but, I think he's being a bit underrated moving forward in again, what is a decent offense.  Plus, our league WW for RB's is barren..  Either of these guys HAVE to be better than the 5 touches Mathews or Barber will likely produce as they are supplanted..

I know Cutler has returned which will theoretically improve Jefferys outlook, but, its not as though he's done much this year, plus the injury concern with him, I felt it may work out for both of us..  time will tell.  I posted the trade Wed evening..  I may end up pulling it if I don't hear back soon.  Thanks for the input..

For a dynasty team hightower and starks have no long term value.  Jeffrey has pretty good value moving forward.  Even if i was desperate for RB I would not want those 2 RBs for Jeffrey.
