Week 10 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Benson's injury was just as ugly Nap McCallum's or McGahee's in college, except it was sideways instead of backwards.

Thomas Jones will most certainly be a Bear for another two years.

There's no way Benson comes back from this thing (effectively) until 2007.
How odd considering he was supposed to be a "workhorse back".
silly

Holcomb severe concussion - Mularkey wouldn't discuss who would start next week. But it's obvious, Losman provided a spark to this offense and Holcomb has a severe concussion, so why even think about putting Holcomb back in?

After the Jaguar game, Del Rio said Ernest Wilford "jammed" his shoulder and they would have to wait and see how it is, or words to that effect. In a related note, Reggie Williams had his feelings hurt after another young Jaguar WR not named Reggie Williams had a big day.

Cooley just limped off.  Looked like a hammy.
Uh oh. Anything more on this?
 Nah. He pulled up lame right after his last catch of the game. Immediately limp-jogged over the the sideline. I hope he's okay; been a big producer for my team all year.
Thanks, buddy.Do you know if he went back in the game? I also need him down the stretch. :(

I don't think he did. That got them the first down; four plays later, they turned it over on downs and the game was, essentially, over.

From CBS Sportsline:News: Charlie Batch suffered a broken right hand in the second quarter of Week 10 against the Browns, finishing 13-of-19 for 150 yards. He also carried three times for 16 yards and a touchdown before departing.

I saw him back in one play after he went off. It looked like more of a cramp than anything else.

Fat security guard in the endzone at bills game is down. Walked off under his own power, Soda vender is filling in.
He just got carted off the field and was waving to the cheering crowd. This is hilarious. :lmao:
I was at the game. The guard was looking up in the stands and got hit by Evans in the calf when Evans was scoring his second TD. Never saw him coming. The guard went horizontal in midair before landing on his head. Major style points but the landing received mixed reviews from the judges. He didn't move for a minute or two - knocked cold? The victory lap on the cart was pretty hilarious. edited to add: Not surprised he broke his leg. He got clipped *hard.*

Delicate Dillon [AOL Voice]Goodbye[/AOL Voice]. This is football, someone scratching you shouldn't pull you out of the game.

A magnetic resonance imaging test has confirmed that Cedric Benson suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee that could sideline him anywhere from three to six weeks.

The test, performed Monday morning at Halas Hall, revealed no damage to other ligaments or to the running back's meniscus. Benson suffered the injury in the second quarter of Sunday's victory over San Francisco.
