Week 10 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

I dont want to see Benson's leg again, it was that bad looking. A knee is supposed to look like this: | and Benson's knee was like this: _| literally. This is after his leg buckled while running... which was maybe a sprain or strain to begin with but the hit didnt help anything.
:lmao: OK, this sucks that I hoped to sneak Benson in today and that move looks to have backfired, but this description just made my day. Seriously, that was funny.

Benson's injury was just as ugly Nap McCallum's or McGahee's in college, except it was sideways instead of backwards.Thomas Jones will most certainly be a Bear for another two years. There's no way Benson comes back from this thing (effectively) until 2007.

I have to agree with you on this one.

oh man, just saw it, I think I'm gonna hurl..... :X

why oh why did I watch the highlight of Benson's injury? I should've just taken everyone's word for it. His hip almost touched his ankle. That's how far his knee bent sideways. So much for me putting him into my FFTOC lineup at 12:50pm today

Any chance Holcombe returns for the Bills?

Signed,

Moulds Owner  :bag:
Not a chance, but Losman is looking good and targetted him a few times. Could be a broken jaw, some teeth maybe, I thought he had a concussion as he looked to me as being knocked out could. Took a hit at the bottom of his facemask on a sack and he was down immediately.

TC - thanks for the skinny....as I can't watch the game. Encouraging to hear Moulds at least got some looks from JP. I guess it really doesn't matter who is at QB when your playing against the Chiefs secondary.

the Benson injury made my gut turn. shades of the Culpepper injury from the side just looked even worse. :X

Fat security guard in the endzone at bills game is down. Walked off under his own power, Soda vender is filling in.

He just got carted off the field and was waving to the cheering crowd. This is hilarious. :lmao:

Don't want to speculate but I noticed on the last DET drive Pinner/Bryson got all the carries. Anything on Kevin Jones?

How odd considering he was supposed to be a "workhorse back".

So a freak injury ruins that? Please.

Houston RT Todd Wade down. Went to commercial break.Edit: Back from commercial. Right knee. Helped off field slowly. Return doubtful IMO.

So, the Bears probably lose two promising first and second round picks to possible career ending injuries? Unbelievable, why do I watch this game?

Champ Bailey was limping a little after trying to chase down Jerry Porter. Was fourth down anyway so the D was leaving the field. No word on severity but the leg still appears to be bothering him today.

Bailey apparently wasn't hurt too badly, just got a pick.

According to the game thread Wilford is down. More info?
From another site: Jaguars' wide receiver Ernest Wilford was injured early in the fourth quarter against the Ravens Sunday. He fell to the ground, rolling in pain, and it appeared as though he injured his shoulder.

1-10-OAK 22 (14:48) L.Jordan up the middle to OAK 24 for 2 yards (I.Gold).OAK-L.Jordan was injured during the play. His return is Probable.

It makes me laugh that they can post "return is probable" when he was still down on the field.

Anyone see how it happened and what the injury is???

I just watched it on Tivo and he appeared to go down a little on his ankle.
