Week 10 Injury Thread (11 Viewers)

Not an official update. But something nontheless. Bucky Irving sent out a DM “I’m ready” when asked about his week 10 status.

That was from 10/22 though, right?

Saw this timestamp call out on Reddit. I don't typically use X. Is that what the timestamp means that it's from "Oct 22"? If so then my mistake.

Thanks. Yes, I think for this one, it's from 10/22.

And no worries - that's why I always ask for people to share the link, like you did. Hopefully it all works out like we're hoping and he is back.

OK, this is the straw that broke the camel's back. Can we PLEASE at least TRY to keep the thread to really time-pertinent injury situations? That need acting on urgently? What the heck does "status unknown" mean? If what you're looking at knows nothing, it is WORTHLESS. Two weeks ago? First injury (Skattebo) was on post 52, i.e the second page, only other post I would consider useful is the marginally late Drake London post. This past week? Page 1 entirely useless, first pertinent post is post 60 with Rodgers seemingly getting a knock in warmups, first actual in game injury post is three posts later. Both cases, we can COMPLETELY ignore the first page, as anything on page one is just regurgitating non time-critical information.

If you want to boost your post count by reposting every single change in participation report you see, that's fine. I have message board accounts with big numbers as well, it does feel nice. Just bear in mind that some of us still try to use this site for useful fantasy football content, and if the trend is that we need to start looking more towards page 3 rather than page 2 as to when that starts appearing, it means the thread is getting worse and worse.

Content - Jakobi Meyers may or may not have broken a toenail on a flight to Florida, it's pending an MRI as to whether he will be out this week

edit - fwiw 2-3 years ago this was the most useful thread on the forum. How times change.

Well this is pertinent news. Fairbairn is the Texans’ best scorer.

Top Kicker is hurt. Titusbramble message board viewing most affected.

As for the information, it's direct from the Houston beat writer. If he's saying the status is up in the air for week 10 and they're bringing in a kicker to try out, do you not find that information pertinent? Do you want me to copy word for word the the tweets or trust that people who own the player will follow the link and look into it?

Effin' Pearsall. I thought it was only foot injuries that were supposed to linger like this, not knees

@Insein - please ignore the above. You are doing a great job in this thread. Much appreciated.
