Week 10 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

Might as well reserve my spot; have a feeling it's gonna be a looooong day in three leagues...

So far:

Cutler run against me put me in a big hole Thursday Night.

Ricky Williams comfortable on my bench. Who knew?

at least you still have him; I dropped him two weeks ago thinking he was not going to help me - I needed him this week with S Jackson out and Barber on vacation . . .

It's only halftime of the 1pm games, and I'm probably done. The dude I'm playing has Cutler, MJD, TJones, and NYJ D/ST. His lineup looked reasonably benign on Wed.

Mason = Done??

Slanton = 2 TD called back, sharing carries

Cotchery = up by 40, prolly will sit alot

He has Cutler, T.Jones, R.White.....Anyone know any all-night boozers, I may need to drown my sorrows as my playoff hopes just went down the crapper......

D. Keller 6 107 1 54J. Cotchery 1 18 0 18L. Coles 1 14 0 14B. Smith 2 14 0 8L. Washington 4 14 0 7
you CANNOT be serious with this box score.

I am getting swept in all leagues this week, thanks in no small part to Jets WRs, even had to play Stuckey in one :thumbdown:Honorable mention nods to Driver, Camarillo and especially Braylon Edwards. A special non-WR thanks to Rosenfels & Slaton. The word of the day is SUCKWeeks 9 & 10 have been cruel to me with byes & injuries. All is not lost.

Last week started McGahee, Rice goes off

This week started Rice (at last minute), McGahee goes off.

Thanks Mort...

UNREAL . . .

I spend the season alternating between Watson and Heap; you know that BOTH have been totally useless this year - I just saw where Heap caught 2 TDs - and of course I started Watson this week . . .

The weekly Moore/Cotchery/Avery/Walter decision is absolutely killing me. Especially with SJAX out. My brilliant TO for SJAX trade isn't looking so brilliant anymore.

Every week, I seem to pick it wrong. And to make it worse FBG is having just as hard of a time as I am. This is not to pick at FBG, just to demonstrate how random that choice is. It's freakin' killing me. Reggie might actually save me this time, fingers crossed.

And, just to round it out, let's not forget an honorable mention to Greg Jennings for being completely absent and a special award to Willie Parker for being a big ole, wet p*ssy.

Thanks, guys!

So no Chambers today huh?

All in all, this could be my worst fantasy week, ever. I am going to get wrecked in 5 leagues.

I am playing a guy going the wrong way this week, his top 3 wr's are ALL on a bye week, he has both Favre and Cutler, but has started the right guy only once in 7 decisions this year.... also starting an injured TE so he is starting only 7 of a possible 9 starters....

HIS STARTERS THIS WEEK ARE:

Cutler ,thomas jones ,ADP, ...well thats all he really needs apparently because he will not only beat me handily, but will win the weekly high score prize....with only 7 players :-(

I , on the other hand, started nearly all of the wrong guys, including benching MJD.....

sometimes I hate this game.

I'd like to thank Farve for only scoring 10 points despite the jets putting up 40.

I'd like to thank Slaton for his 1 point

I'd like to thank Avery for his 3 points

I'd like to thank Cotchery for his 1 point.

One last thanks to give out this week.....Jake Delhomme, thanks for making Steve Smith useless this week as well as my two WR now have given me 2 catches for 14 yards (Smith and Holt). Losing my chance at the possible #1 seed in my league. C'mon Warner, bail me out tomorrow!

seriously, how is this even possible?

J.Cotchery - 1 rec - 18 yards

S.Smith - 1 rec - 9 yards

B.Edwards - 1 rec - 15 yards

So angry its not funny !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Played Cotchery and Coles today. :lmao:

Couldn't wait for LT to make up the points for me...78rush, 39rec was not what I was hoping for coming from a bye week to play @ home vs KC.

In three leagues, my highest scoring WR was Donald Driver with 4 points. Following with a respectable 2, Santonio Holmes. Everyone else got me 1 or 0. Steve Smith and Chris Chambers teamed up for a really impressive goose egg in one league, against two of the worst teams in the NFL.

Dear Bernard,bite mejoffer
Yeah, no kidding. Started him for the first time. That worked out well...Steamed about that DeSean Jackson TD too. 8 minutes into the game and we finally get to see the Eagles' offense introduced...let's go McNabb. You have lots of ground to cover.

My bench is going to outscore my starters this week.

Left Royal on the bench for Jennings and Calvin. And our rosters were locked Thursday before I could take out S-Jax for D Williams.

My 7-0 is about to fall to 7-3.

I'm on the verge of losing to something called a Tyler Thigpen :football: :wall:
Same here. Opponent started Thigpen. I started Delhomme. 72 yds. agains Oakland? And 18 yds. from Cotchery when the Jets score 47? And 8 yds. rushing/15 receiving for Chris Johnson? And I only lose by 4. :hot:

that was my "stud" WCOFF WR corps. Together with Rice getting the bulk of the carries (not), i'm knocked out of a league championship game and possible 7k, not to mention berth in championship round.

Jets get 47 pts and I get 1 pt from Coles. They get 47 freakin' pts and I get 1 stinking reception for 14 yds!

I get 1 stinking pt from CJ3 in a 21-14 win....14 carries for 8 yds, and 2 receptions for 15 yds.

I get a pathetic 2 pts from Lee Evans. 2 receptions for 22 yds.

And I get 10 from LT.

That's 14 pts total from 4 of my studs, and I lose by 26, for just my 2nd loss of the season. I guess I was due.

On a good note, I got 15 from Marques Colston in his 1st start for me this season....1 more pt than my 4 studly studs combined :goodposting:

I had my biggest game of the season this week. I need a win to stay ahead and my division, and the guy I play is the guy who's draft pick I have, and is currently tied for last in the league (meaning it would be the #1 overall pick), but could move all the way to the middle of the league with one or two wins.

We go into the SNF game with me having around an 8 point lead and Brian Westbrook still to play, while he has Desean Jackson.

In the end, I lose by 0.08 points, which is LESS THAN ONE YARD! One more yard from any of my players, or one less yard from any of his players, and it's the difference. That one yard could end up costing me a bye in the playoffs and a rookie pick that as of now, has dropped from 1st overall to 5th overall.

And to top it all off, this is the SECOND TIME I've lost by less than a tenth of a point this season.

In a PPR league I had to decide between Steve Slaton and Brandon Jacobs for my RB2 spot. I went with Slaton.

Slaton scored 4 points

Jacobs scored 23 points (on my bench)

I lost by 18

Exact same thing here, exact same decision, exact same :PI went with FBG on this one and got burned but, then again, I've gone against them and gotten burned too.

lots of points on the bench...worst of all is the 22 from the Jets, the 18 from Norwood and the 15 from Bradley. 1pt from Coles. 1pt from Daniels. 3.5pts from Jennings. Whoda thunk it. :lmao: Cards D has to come up big tonight.

-I'd like to thank Fred Taylor for not punching it into the endzoe on the one with two chances only allowing Gerrard to throw in a TD.

-I'd like to thank the Packers special teams/defense for laying the smack down on me this week.

-I'd like to thank the following bums on my team for not showing up this week: Chris Johnson, Duece McAllister, Braylon Edwards and Jeremy Shockey.

-I'd like to thank Torry Holt for not showing up all year.

-Finally, I'd like to thank myself for benching Marcues Colston over any of the four bums who didn't show up this past week.
