Week 10 Waiver Wire GEMS (1 Viewer)

It is getting very crazy.  There are people saying he will get 50% of the carries because he had one good run.  You always need to ignore the hype on this board.

I do think he could be a decent play this week.  I would think he gets 8-10 touches.  Against the Saints that could be enough.
Yeah I'm not sure where the 50% split is coming from. There was one Tweet early in the week from a beat writer who speculated Bibbs could become the new starter based off Kubiak's comments that Bibbs was in line for more touches. There has been nothing since or any comments from Kubiak hinting or implying a change was coming at RB or Booker was in any danger of having his role greatly reduced. The only comments have been that Bibbs is in line for more work which based on how little work he had been getting could be anywhere from 3 touches to 9 or 10 or maybe more.

I agree with those who say that due to the matchup Bibbs has some RB3 appeal this week but in my opinion that's all he is - a RB3. And despite the matchup he comes with risk because if Booker plays well he could maintain his stranglehold on the job and Bibbs might not get more than a couple of touches again.

That being said, I'm a Gurley owner who's monitoring his status and Bibbs is someone I'm looking at in case I need to find a replacement. But I'm not as fired up to start him as others seem to be. I think there's a huge amount of risk with him despite the great matchup because other than one beat writer's Tweet earlier in the week I haven't seen anyone who covers the Broncos report that Booker's starting job is in any type of danger or a 50-50 split is in the works for this week's game. Honestly if Gurley's out I may just go with Cunningham over Bibbs off the WW since I know he'd be locked into a certain level of volume despite the more difficult matchup. But don't hold me to that since I'm weighing a number of different options.

starting Bibbs in all four leagues where I have him - 3 at RB2 and one at Flex ... should be 50/50 share on carries but Bibbs will also get more receptions and they ARE playing the Saints - look what they did for DuJuan Harris' numbers last week
Harris wasnt splitting with anyone.

fIf you are stuck for a RB or Flex play this week and IF Andre Ellington is available in your league he could be a very good play as the Cardinals rate to score a lot against SF and if they are up big will likely give Ellington a lot of carries and rest David Johnson for tougher games coming up (of course that may be after Johnson has a score or two and 100+ yards but heck that could be in the first half

Inman is someone to consider. Travis Benjamin is doubtful this week.

Eli Rogers/Sammie Coates as there are literally no other options outside of AB for Pittsburgh. Dallas will control the clock so there will be limited possessions, so that will cap their ceiling. Dallas is poor at defending the slot. Coates can't catch a cold. Ladarius Green is coming back, and due to having limited options, he could have a bigger role than expected. May not be able to get him next week.
