Earl bennett is looking good tonight against a good secondary. Three big first down catches. He has some nice match ups the rest of the way.
Isn't going to look good for Hue either by the end of the year if they continue their limited playing time. This whole 'packages' and 'flow of the game' stuff is horse####. Be a man and say why they didn't play.DHB and K.Boss..... this does not look good for them...http://www.csnbayarea.com/blog/raiders-talk/post/Jackson-insists-less-snaps-for-Boss-DHB-?blockID=589832&feedID=7638&awid=5447200464962035039-766
Earl Bennett looking like he's CHI's WR1 by a wide margin
no kidding - it makes NO sense - the guy was getting 75% of the snaps consistently and that drops to like 20% and Hue blames it on "packages" - it's his team and he has the right to bench whoever he wants but at least don't lie to us about it . . . if you don't want to say why then say NO COMMENT.Isn't going to look good for Hue either by the end of the year if they continue their limited playing time. This whole 'packages' and 'flow of the game' stuff is horse####. Hard to trust Alexander to stay healthy. Austin Pettis is a nice pickup in PPR leagues. Bradford loves throwing to the slot receiver. Damian Williams is worth a look. Back-to-back solid games after his concussion. Earl Bennett's getting some looks tonight too and might be WR3-worthy in PPR leagues. It's likely Clayton will be placed on the IR this week. Alexander is the guy to get. With Salas going down and DX being hurt, I would grab Clayton and stash him. He may be active this week. Rams schedule is getting better.
If you can afford a free roster space, I'd still stash Taiwan. With the uncertainty of McFadden's injury, he's only a Bush injury away from being an RB2 (borderline RB1 in PPR).I still have hope that he'll be relevant at some point!Taiwan Jon...oh wait. Nevermind.
Even with Nate Washington in uniform, I think Damian Williams is the guy to get in that offense. Anecdotally, I have Washington and will still hold on to him but am trying to land Williams and if I get him will start him over Washington.Hard to trust Alexander to stay healthy. I think your trust in Felix is overstated (unless you are in a dynasty league). Murray offers more and I can see felix being nothing more than a pass catching back if/when he comes back this year. Murray is clearly the more versatile back and gives them a better chance. I own Felix in two redrafts - dropped him in one last week; and am seriously considering dropping him in the other if the right free agents are available. He has no trade value - not even to the Murray owner in my leagues which I don't quite understand.I wish I could pick up someone, but I just don't think that anyone on the WW this week is worth dropping Felix or Starks for. I'm trying to do a few 2 or 3 for 1 deals with Hernandez to free up a roster spot to get Laurent or Bennett or someone but I don't think anyone's biting.
Someone spent $84 bidding bucks on Bennett in my dynasty league. I was surprised because he has had an opportunity and has not really stood out.Hard to trust Alexander to stay healthy. Felix is going to be the change of pace back and Murray is the featured guy. That's what I see. Robinson over Bennett, IMO. More upside. How about Benett or Torrey Smith?Laurent Robinson or Earl Bennett, who would you rather have?
What opportunity has he had? Been injured for 7 weeks prior to Monday night.'az_prof said:Someone spent $84 bidding bucks on Bennett in my dynasty league. All 3 are available on my waiver wire. I have no idea where to rank them except that I think Robinson is the guy to have as long as Austin is injured. Once Austin returns, Robinson returns to the boom-or-bust status that Smith currently enjoys.Robinson over Bennett, IMO. He's had many opportunities in previous years, and he proved he was a fringe NFL talent. I still think blowing your budget on him isn't that bad of a deal, assuming the money doesn't roll over to 2012. It's week 10; in a deep league, the chance of a NFL WR1 emerging is slim, and that's what Bennett is going forward for Chicago, for better or worse. In a PPR league he's a clear improvement over a lot of teams' WR3s. I won Bennett in a few leagues, even when I bid $0. Most I bid was $21 of 100 (about half my remaining dollars). What opportunity has he had?
