Week 11 - Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

What the heck are you to do?Who decides to start 1 of the 2 headed monsters in Lundy or a guy that hasn't gotten opportunities all year long in Caddy over Chester Taylor or Ronnie Brown?I have more points on the bench with 1/3 the number of players.
I was really itching to put Lundy in over Ahman Green, but just couldn't pull the trigger.

I lost portis last week. I have Bulger and SJax and Pace is out for the year. Last week I dropped Lee Evans and then he does this. I have Favre and Driver and Favre gets hurt. I heard Hines Ward got nicked up and now Kevin Jones gets nicked up.

:wall:

Playing against CJ and Lee Evans.

Yup, I'm done for. 70+ points from 2 WRs. Needless to say that my Housh+Chris Henry combo wasn't so hot.

Lost Favre, K Jones, and Colston today with injuries. Started Housh and Ronnie Brown and got nothing. Josh Brown is scoreless at this point.

Unless a fantasy miracle happens...will lose to this lineup: Romo, D Foster, Herron, McCardell, Moulds, Roscoe Parrish, Gates, Kaeding and SD Def. This could be the worst line up EVER in fantasy football and it will more than likely beat me..... unbelievable.

ima lose to the guy who started McNabb and Colston and only scored 60pts this week

peyton fitz walker need some points

Lost K Jones, Mcnabb, and Colston today with injuries
guess what, i lost the same 3 players today. it's freaking sickening.at least, i get alexander back.i'm left with.vickhenry, alexander, w. parkerholt, driver, tj housh, kennisonj.feely, j.brownbalt, wash.

Nedney has been good all year and he decides NOW to crap teh bed I mean WTH!!!?????

I needed those 6 points. Now I have a nail biter tonight hoping Walker doesnt score a TD... highly unlikely considering SD's pass defense is terrible.

Not a vent as it doesn't involve me... in one of my Zealots leagues, someone lost McNabb, Jordan, and Colston to injuries. He went up against a team with Lee Evans, Chad Johnson, and Tom Brady. Current score is 211-96.

This week I lost Colston, Favre, and K. Jones.

Last week I lost Portis and Gonzo.

Now I'm holding my breath that nothing more happens to Tiki tomorrow night.

Negatives:

Lost McNabb.

Lost KJones.

Lost L Jordan.

Favre's injury impacts Driver.

Housh goes quiet while 85 goes off.

Welcome to L #2 on the year.

Positives:

Palmer on bench to replace McNabb.

Rudi on bench to replace KJones.

Where's my shirt?

I sat Lee Evans (38.5) and Braylon Edwards (13.7) for TO (7.0) and Keyshawn (4.5). :wall:

The good news is I'm leading by 6.3 points (non-PPR), but he's got Shockey tomorrow night.

In my other PPR league I got only 1.9 points combined out of McNabb and Colston, when I normally get 40-60 points from them; I'm trailing by 55 points with some players yet to play on MNF. :wall:

Week 9: bench Fitzgerald (DNP), and D. Henderson (3-111-2) and start J. Horn (DNP) -32 point difference, lost by 1

Week 10: bench Horn (DNP) and Fitzgerald (6-80-0) and start Henderson (0-0-0) -14 pint difference, lost by 12

Week 11: bench Henderson (9-169-0) and Horn (3-93-1) and start Fitzgerald (2-30-0) -20 point difference, down by 6+Elam

I started Evans this week and I'm STILL gonna lose. I'm up 94-87, I have Scobee left, but my opponent has most of LT's game and Tiki tomorrow. I'll be surprised if anyone else in our league scores 90 points this week. It would've been nice if Ahman and Driver had shown up for the game. Benching Braylon Edwards for Keyshawn at the last minute didn't help much either.

In my other league I picked up the Tampa D because I didn't like Dallas's matchup vs the tough Indy offense. That cost me a big 20 points.

Lost McNabb, Colston, KJ, and LaMont Jordan today...oh and had lee evans on the bench....

But, I still managed to win 49-40...ugly, i know....

Started Deshaun Foster instead of Jamal Lewis, DeAngelo, Gado. :wall:

Winning very comfortably, though. Tomlinson and T. henry going against me won't matter.

High weekly score pays $$

Antonio Gates is so G*ddamned frustrating this year.

And Minnesota DEF is hitting the waiver wire HARD this week.

How'd LT do tonight?

:goodposting:

Went with Tampa D over Carolina. A mere 30 point difference under my scoring system. Oh yeah, no Colston either. :wall:

gb being 2 games up on the rest of the league going in to this weekend

gdb losing McNabb and Colston and having none of my players score a TD. :(

losing 91 - 22 ( :ptts: ) right now.

:wall:

I lost Colston and Ronnie Brown in 2 leagues.

Had Joe Horn on the bench in one league and Devery Henderson on the bench in another.

I had way too many players do squat this week.

I'm guilty of getting real comfortable in the last few weeks. I should have been building up my bench, but instead I was thinking about how I was going to spend the championship money.

Lesson learned.

edit: Here's the reaction I got from my leaguemates in regards to my injury woes.

Well, the MJD TD just clinched it. I had a golden opportunity to take sole possession of 1st place in my (weak) division, but am now just lost in the shuffle at 5-6. Tatum being inactivated at the last minute killed me.

This has been a sad, sad season ...

I was battling for a first round bye and facing the 0-10 team this week so I thought I was in good shape. All of a sudden Evans explodes for 49.50 points.

No problem, the rest of his team stinks. My players chip away at the lead. Miami D helps with two TDs but I lose 2 points when Minnesota scores a meaningless TD as time expires and makes the extra point.

I am still in good shape, I don't need much from Tiki on Monday night and I win. With about 6 minutes left he gives me what I need but then has a -1 yard run that drops me half a yard behind my opponent. With the Giants trailing, he doesn't see the ball again, besides missing a catchable pass.

:wall:

I lose 86.40 to 86.35, the margin of victory being 1 yard passing or 0.5 yards rushing/receiving. Evans accounts for more than half his points.

You should have your league's season voided.
