nobody picked up moore last week in my league. ill be going for him. i already have hunter but id imagine hes available in alot of leagues. ill also go after tamme just as a backup te. i knowmhe wont be as good as last yr but he could be a target machine

Slim pickings, to be sure. These are the guys I'm targeting in my 12-man league. Not sure how widely available they are.

Eddie Royal Could become more involved in the option attack as both a receiver and runner.

Vincent Brown. May still start even once Floyd comes back.

Kendall Hunter. Obvious name, but he'll make a big impact if Gore has to miss any time.

Tamme is intriguing. Would you start him over Celek as a bye-replacement next week?

tamme has a bye next week
Whoops should have checked that first, thanks.

Just about every name mentioned thus far has spent at least a week or so on my roster this year, with the exception of k. Smith. None of these guys did didley for me when I started them. They all have a decent week and then go back on the milk carton. The only guy I've picked up on waivers this year that was consistent was Murray.

Tellin you right now, dont buy into Damian Williams, that guy burned me twice. He'll go for 1 catch and 18 yards in his next game.

if he's available

Denarius Moore
OK, this is the correct spelling. Why do so many people misspell his name as "Denarious", as if 'Denar' was some sort of adjective. I know 'Denar' sounds like :moneybag:

So people must be thinking he's :moneybag: + 'ous'. I can see the confusion. He is money.

But the name is Denarius.

pet peeve....spell it right people.

Alot of WRs may be on your WW this week:

DMoore

VBrown

DWilliams

HDouglas

LHankerson

At RB:

KHunter

LBall

KSmith

At TE:

JTamme

TScheffler

Hakeem Hicks.
Brett Farve.Oh and Superbowl. It's Super Bowl. Two words. Drives me nuts. :boxing:

Any thoughts on Hankerson and Vincent Brown?

I'm a little surprised that Hankerson isn't getting more talk here. Shanny for al the talk about his RB machinations has a decent history of creating gooid, reliable FF WR's: Rod Smith, Ed McCaffrey, Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal.

As much as he is hated for the RBs he could be loved for the WRs. And you know he wants a replacement for Moss as the lynchpin for the passing game.

[ETA: as someone else pointed out Moss may be returning in 2-3 weeks, so that is something to consider.]

part of the damper is likely due to the injury question and how banged up he is.

He's saying that he probably won't miss any time. I see him as a solid #3 the rest of the way as long as Grossman stays starting. Moss comes back soon but it'll be Gaffney going to the bench when they start 2 wr's. Having Moss back will actually help Hankerson drawing more coverage away from him IMO.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that Gaffney is automatically going to the bench when Moss returns. He's actually been pretty solid for the Redskins this year. He's caught at least 2 balls in every game and his lowest yardage total was 37 yards. You have to wonder how much better his numbers would be with better QB play too.

If D. Moore is out there, he's definitely your top WR add this week. Palmer really has a connection with him, something that's extremely important for a WR to be successful.

<---- Fantasy stud right here.

Yeah I think Moore, Earl Bennett and Laurent Robinson are the obvious choices at WR if they're available in your league. Damian Williams may be next in line at WR.

It is so awesome to see a mess of posts in a football forum thread and see it's a bunch of grammar tards petting each other slowly....

Odd year this year... Waiver Wires seem to be mostly picked clean... What do people think about Kerley of the Jets? This year? And into future?

Any thoughts on Vincent Brown? If no Floyd he might be worth holding an when Floyd returns is there any chance he stays in the lineup?
Not sure he's done enough yet to unseat Floyd but I love him as long as he's starting. Good news is Turner said last week that if Floyd doesn't practice Wednesday he doesn't expect him to play in Week 11. If that holds true we should have a good idea early in the week to see if Brown is going to start.

Dynasty he's definitely a buy. There has been some hype since training camp, but he's gone unrecognized by a large part of the fantasy football world. Who knows how long Burress will last so there could be a spot for him sooner than later.

Your so right! That bothers me alot to.
Since we are playing this game......"Your so right" is: "You're so right." That is the sames as saying: "You are so right." Maybe we should just discuss football.
Hook, line, sinker. You forgot to mention too and a lot when you were fake correcting him.
he was probably too busy misspelling 'same' and padding his ellipses.

hahaha this was obviously a joke, 3 errors in 2 small sentences.
Are you sure? And, there are differences between typos and errors in grammer and spelling. My "sames" was a typo. "Differrences" could be a typo or a spelling error. "Your" is abused in A LOT of writing.

Joe McNight - especially in leagues with KR yardage and TDs. LT hurt his knee last night.

Woodhead seemed to be getting some looks last night, maybe in PPR.

Felix Jones/Santana Moss - possibly dropped and may get some work down the stretch. Murray supposedly dinged up in Dallas game, Hankerson, dinged up in Skins game.

Damian Williams - CJ getting back on track as a threat opening up opportunity for Titans passing game. Nate Washington dinged up.

Vince Young - do the Eagles protect Vick with the season pretty much lost? Vick has broken ribs, and obviously does not play well through injury.

For Stafford owners, Shaun Hill.

Dexter McCluster in PPR leagues if he qualifies at RB. He was very active yesterday and one would think the Chiefs will be playing from behind against New England next Monday night. He's not a bad RB3 with the final week of byes hitting us.

Good desparation play for many of us that are going down that road. The Chiefs are pretty scary these days.

I'm sure. I make plenty of typos. But I've had to/too/two pretty much figured out since first grade. It was the same week they told us not to eat paste. When folks abuse to/too/two, I picture their keyboard in some remote locale, with a jar of paste next to it, with a spoon inside./hijack

I like Titus Young as a pickup this week as he seems to be getting more comfortable in the offense not to mention CJ might be injured. That said I still prefer Vincent Brown if available
