Week 11 Waiver Wire pickups (1 Viewer)

Anybody going for DST's?

Jax @ Cle

Bills @ MIA

NYG vs PHI

StL vs SEA

Slim pickings, no easy matchups for teams largely on the WW by the looks of it.

Patriots are probably on a lot of WWs. They looked great last night and are at home vs. the Chiefs in Week 11 with a backup QB. They've been terrible before last night but the matchup is pretty darn appealing.

I think I'm going to be targeting Donald Jones as a post-waiver wire free agent pickup. The stats didn't pop off the page, but 6 catches for 51 yards is pretty solid in a PPR.

According to PFT, McGahee is on track to start for the Broncos. Not saying that you shouldn't pick up Ball, but I would temper my enthusiasm for him.

Also, as a Schaub owner, I'm looking into WW QBs. Skelton might be worth a shot if you're in a QB heavy league (our league is 1pt/10 yards passing and 6 per TD). He's played pretty well the past two weeks in relief of Kolb. Maybe Kolb gets Wally Pipped?

Brett Farve.

Oh and Superbowl. It's Super Bowl. Two words. Drives me nuts. :boxing:
Your so right! That bothers me alot to.
hahaha this was obviously a joke, 3 errors in 2 small sentences.
Are you sure? And, there are differences between typos and errors in grammer and spelling. My "sames" was a typo. "Differrences" could be a typo or a spelling error. "Your" is abused in A LOT of writing.
:lmao: I can't get enough of these, guys. :lmao: Of course, I'm sure I will be corrected too.

They also have a really nice playoff schedule. I may grab them and hold on to them for that purpose.I'll probably be sticking with the Jags for the second week in a row, against the Browns.

It is so awesome to see a mess of posts in a football forum thread and see it's a bunch of grammar tards petting each other slowly....
Not excellent.
This '####### is not cool' campaign is getting out of control.
Where does it end?Saying "idiotic" is still okay, yet common usage maligns idiots. Where do you draw the line? Drooling?

"That's stupid" is still totally acceptable. But what about stupid people..? Don't their feelings matter?

At what point on the Stabford-Binet continuum do we stop allowing our'n verbilage to become epithetical?

Does sarcasm come into play?

MacArthur Genius Grants are okay, but sarcastically calling somebody a 'Genius' or 'Einstein' not okay..?

The whole thing is just plain dumb.

My hope is that people would engage in meaningful discussion without resorting to name calling. I would think most people would want that. ...and, for the FAs, I'm targeting Damian Williams, Vincent Brow and Santana Moss in that order.

I love clicking on waiver threads only to see it full of Troll and insults. (sarcasm off)

Where is the FBG forum admin when you need them?

no, you're ugly and mute.

Anyone think Lance Ball is a better option than my current RB2s?

Lance Ball vs. NYJ

vs.

Battle @ NE

or

Mathews @ CHI

or

Ryan Grant vs. TB

Would any of you use your waiver wire position (3rd) to snag Ball and start him over that group? I know Ryan Mathews should be a better play than Lance Ball but not thrilled about his prospects at CHI this week.

Search the game log play by play for Tyler Palko last week. Consider what is about to happen to them this week.

Report back with findings.

Ah-hah:"Kansas City Chiefs at 01:55

1-10-KC31 (1:55) (Shotgun) T.Palko pass short left to D.McCluster to KC 45 for 14 yards (D.Williams) [E.Dumervil].

1-10-KC45 (1:30) (No Huddle, Shotgun) T.Palko right end pushed ob at DEN 47 for 8 yards (V.Miller).

2-2-DEN47 (1:20) (No Huddle, Shotgun) T.Palko pass short middle to S.Breaston to DEN 30 for 17 yards (C.Harris).

1-10-DEN30 (:57) (No Huddle, Shotgun) T.Palko pass short left to D.McCluster to DEN 23 for 7 yards (D.Williams; A.Goodman).

2-3-DEN23 (:31) (No Huddle) T.Palko pass short left to D.McCluster ran ob at DEN 17 for 6 yards (A.Goodman).

1-10-DEN17 (:28) (Shotgun) T.Palko pass short right to D.McCluster to DEN 14 for 3 yards (C.Harris).

2-7-DEN14 (:11) T.Palko spiked the ball to stop the clock.

3-7-DEN14 (:11) R.Succop 32 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-T.Gafford, Holder-D.Colquitt.

DEN 17 KC 10, Plays: 8 Yards: 55 Possession: 1:48."

Well that explains why McCluster finally put up a decent stat line.

Guess McCluster is worth a pick up in PPR leagues after reading that. Geez.

I wouldn't start Ball over Mathews in all probability but I'd drop Grant for Ball without hesitation. Grant has zero upside at this point. Even if you don't start Ball this week, he's the No. 2 RB on a team with a gimpy starter and a game plan that will likely continue to feature the running game at a ridiculous level.

Thanks and yeah - 8 pass attempts?!?!? Ridiculous!
