Week 11 Waiver Wire (1 Viewer)

Danario Alexander

Daniel Thomas if he's sitting on the wire for some reason. Bush got benched for fumbling today and this is the 3rd straight game he's gotten more snaps than Bush.

Kyle Rudolph if he hit the wire due to his poor games recently and the bye in week 11.

Jacoby Jones in leagues with return yardage or very deep leagues.

Mohamed Sanu had 4 catches for 47 yds. and a TD today. More of a watch but maybe a stash if you have a deep bench.

Emmanuel Sanders if he wasn't scooped up this last week.

Nick Foles if Vick has to miss a game and you're in a bind next week due to the bye.

Chris Ivory/Mark Ingram -- would bet that one of the two is on your wire, even after last week.

Beanie Wells comes off IR next week.

Cedric Benson off IR in week 14.

Golden Tate? 3 TD's in the past 2 weeks and Wilson is heating up.i'd like him to have more targets but he's making big plays. Just not sure when Doug Baldwin is coming back and how that will affect Tate's role.

Doug Baldwin played yesterday:

Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin caught three passes for 42 yards in Seattle's Week 10 win over the Jets.

As a situational slot receiver, Baldwin doesn't see enough targets for fantasy usage. But he adds dynamic ability to Seattle's offense and could be more of a factor if the Seahawks let Russell Wilson throw the ball more than 20-25 times a game. Keep Baldwin in mind as a late-season sleeper if the Seahawks do loosen up the offense a bit. He could be a solid WR4/5. Nov 11 - 7:47 PM

Dannario Alexander, Laruent Robinson or Donald Jones?

Alexander, right?

I think he has the highest ceiling but a lot of risk too since he's been brittle as hell. But I think he's the No. 1 WR on the WW in a lot of leagues this week. He's always possessed big-play ability; he just can never stay healthy.

I'd like to pickup Denario Alexander, but it would mean dropping Emmanuel Sanders. Not sure if I want to do that without watching tonight's game however not sure if Alexander will last that long

Same boat here, but Id rather have a wr who has Big Ben throwing to him than rivers.

Jake Locker, Russell Wilson or Nick Foles (Vick owner).

Granted, I'm in a shallow league, but I'm also targeting:

Benson (as a playoff stash)

Beanie Wells

Ingram

possibly Ivory

Locker and Russell, just to be clear, are on bye in week 11. So they are worth picking up but you'll have to wait a week.

Kaepernick is a real wild card, not sure what he will do on that team.
Kaepernick has the potential to make a Tebow-like (last year) fantasy impact due to his legs. However, caveat emptor as RW is already speculating as follows:Although no final decisions have been made on Alex Smith's (concussion) Week 11 status, ESPN's Adam Schefter indicated on Monday Night Countdown that the 49ers are optimistic about his availability.

"Unlike Jay Cutler and Michael Vick, Alex Smith does not have a documented history of concussions," Schefter noted. "Therefore, the 49ers have not given up hope that he could play next Monday night against Chicago. He slept well last night, felt good today. He was scheduled to visit a neurologist this afternoon." Smith will have to pass the NFL's protocol testing in order to gain clearance. But so far, so good. We'll know more later in the week. Nov 12 - 7:01 PM

it's ok to make that move now...no catches for sanders, and it's leftwich at qb.
Leftwich looks like he's looking for Sanders, though.

Ugh ben/Vick and cutler/romo owner. Need some ww qb finds. How many qbs went Down this week, like 6?
And I was contemplating dropping Freeman cause I have Brady pass his bye.No way that happens now. Too scared to go with one QB.
I've been lucky so far in my start 2 QB league with Brees, Freeman & Dalton. I hope the luck continues!Ben Tate would be a good WW pick up this week if available. I grabbed him last week.Royster could also pay dividends. Blair Walsh as well if available, Vikings are on a bye this week.

What's the reasoning on both Tate and Royster?

The reasoning behind Tate is if they bench Foster in the fantasy playoff weeks to rest him.
they won't "bench" foster before week 17 barring injury, that's ridiculous. they have homefield to play for.

Maybe not, but I bet if they get up by a lot of points then Tate will be seeing more carries than Foster. They have a legitimate shot at the super bowl this year and they need Foster healthy. As far as Royster, I think Morris had a stinger last week. He said he's fine, but still might be worth a stash just in case.

I'm not the one that stated Tate and Royster as pickups, but I'm seeing why some people thing these guys are worth a stash in deeper leagues. I don't see Tate being available though.

Disagree. I predict that there will be even more Frank Gore. Not sure Kaepernick is quite ready for prime time and the coaching staff knows it.

what about Justin forsett as a stash? tate has been out a long time with injuries. I wonder if forsett would get more carries than tate if they decide to rest foster later in the season?

They won't 'rest' him before Week 17. Even if they have a bye locked up, that'd be close to a month off of in-game reps. They'd be insane to do it. He may see less than his 25+ carries in week 16, but expect 15-20 which would still be enough for him to put up numbers.

I'm going to be picking up Forsett for injury depth. They won't rest Foster until Week 17. Coaches should have learned by now that 4 weeks off is extremely detrimental. Going into your 1st playoff game with almost a month off vs. a team coming off a playoff victory is just not a good strategy.

I am a foster owner who missed on ben tate. you think forsett is worth stashing then? I got one spot on my bench

Ben Tate is a lottery ticket. For sett is like parlaying 2 lottery tickets.

Al Irby, the agent for free-agent QB David Garrard (knee), said doctors have cleared his client to begin working out for interested teams.

What you said
Against the Bears?
Yes. QB's who scramble a lot usually equal fantasy gold. If he's starting I'll be picking him up and possibly starting him.
Kaep won't have 8 seconds to throw every down like he did against STL.
which means he may have to run more. 10 yards rushing=20 yards passing in many league formats.

Ben Tate is a lottery ticket.
As a Foster owner, I've had Tate in my dynasty league for a couple years now. But because of injury/bye week problems, I had to drop Tate for Daryl Richardson a couple weeks ago. Tate is still available on the wire. But looking at 2013, I don't think I want to drop Richardson just to get Tate back.
