Week 12 2025 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (5 Viewers)

PPR Flex:

C.Watson v MIN
Monangai v PIT

Leaning Watson. He just looks like the Packers best WR and, even if they don't feed him he still makes plays. PIT is also stronger against the run than the pass and I'm already starting Swift.

PPR TE:
Schultz v BUF
Pitts @ NO

Schultz seems like the easy start IMO but, some see the loss of London as a great opportunity for Pitts. Cousins started week 7 at Miami with London out and Pitts saw 9 targets.
Monangai and Pitts!

I'll start. Need a defense this week.

ATL @ NO
SEA @ TEN
CLE @ LVR
LVR v CLE

Leaning Seattle. Strong D, great matchup, must win, rebound game.
That Shedeur sanders start is kinda juicy though. I might have to try that one especially if you get points for opponents score.

Standard Scorring + PPR

Question # 1
QB = Dart or Brisset

RB x2 = Henry, Judkins, Javonte Williams, Aaron Jones, Travis Etienne

TE = Warren or Kittle

Flex = any player from above not selected

Question # 2 (same scoring structure as above) The options SUCK.

Pick 2: Singletary, Warren (If active), Pollard, Spears

Thank You

Standard scoring non-PPR league:

Henderson vs CIN - we all know what he has done lately; we don’t know what the split will be with Stevenson; plus a great matchup

Marks vs BUF - Another juicy matchup and has taken over the backfield

Marks is probably the less risky pick, but the upside is with Henderson.

Daniel Jones vs KC - A tough defense but could be a shootout.
Jacoby Brissett vs JAC - regression coming after a record-setting game but has been on fantasy fire.

Thoughts?

Trade question. PPR league.

Who would you rather have ROS to take you through the playoffs?

* J. Williams -- Clear workhorse for Dallas, but has slowed down a bit. Really not catching passes as Dak is focused as he should towards CD and Pickens. Faces MN, LAC, @WASH during weeks 15-17.

or

* S. Barkley -- Having a disappointing year along with the entire PHI offense. Lane Johnson injury not so good and Barkley's metrics YOY look in decline. That said, the D is on the upswing and there really isn't an unfavorable matchup left. This would be a bet that the PHI O gets it together. Remaining Schedule: CHI, @LAC, LV, @WASH, @BUF.

Which?

I own one of these guys but may try and trade for the other.

Thanks

PPR league. Wondering if I have any alternatives to D. Schultz tonight who have locked down TEs. Think this game could be a slugfest too. Other options:

* J. Coker at SF -- TMac should get his and Legette banged up. SF was just roasted by the likes of M. Wilson and Brisset.

* G. Dortch vs JAX -- Went 6/61/1 last week alongside M. Wilson and T. McBride. Brissett is slinging it and the JAX secondary is a pass funnel. Demercado is out and Bam Knight still a little banged up.

* Hollywood Brown vs INDY -- THis is only if Worthy is out. Should be a high scorer.

* D. Hopkins vs NYJ -- Get right spot for BALT and Bateman is trending out. Not getting many targets but...well...this is a hail mary.

Stick with Schultz?

Also, I'm an underdog this week so willing to take chances.

Thanks

Looking at your other options the only one I might consider is Brown but only if Worthy is out, which you probably won't know by kickoff Thursday
So I'd stay with Sgt. Schultz

Henderson
Easily

QB is a toss up
Slight edge to Jones I guess

Need to decide on a RB2 (I have Gibbs as my RB1). Scoring is a little TD-heavy with an emphasis towards RB's...

.25 PPC (a point for every four carries)
0.6 PPR
0.6 pts for every 10 yards (100 yards = 6 pts)
TD - 6 pts

Kamara vs ATL
Marks vs BUF
Tracy @ DET

Marks may have the upside, but he's been up and down. Feel like, if there were ever a week to start Kamara, this might be it, no?

EDIT: I also have Gainwell @ CHI. If Warren were to not play, would Gainwell be the choice here? Obviously, with Marks playing tomorrow night, it's likely I won't know the status of Sunday players at that time.
Tough spot with the Thursday game in play
I would say Gainwell if Warren is out but you probably won't know that by Thursday's kickoff
I think Marks would be more likely to find the end zone
so
Marks

It's a coin toss between Marks & Henderson IMO. The reality is neither team has a very good OL but, I give the advantage to Henderson because he has a QB that is far more likely to keep defenses from stacking boxes and the New England offense is #7 in scoring. I also think they win the game and, when it's close I defer to the team I think is more likely to win.

You can go either way but, for me

Henderson>Marks
===================================

Brissett has been a metronome at QB. His worst game was still 258 & 2. The Jags are a pass funnel defense and the Cardinals can't run plus, the Jags have been so uneven in both winning and losing games they shouldn't.

I like Jones but

Jacoby>Brissett

Flacco v Pats
Rudolph @ Bears (if Rodgers out obviously)
Mills V Bills (hey it rhymes)

Not feeling great about this as Herbert and Nix sit on the beach
There's chatter that Burrow may play Sunday
Rudolph is in play but Roger's status is uncertain
Of the three Mills is the only one you know is starting
so
Mills

.5 ppr

Swift vs Pit
D Adams vs TB
N Collins vs Buf
K Williams vs TB

Who do I sit? :kicksrock:

Thx
Probably Swift because, I question if he is getting pulled near the GL for Monangai and the Steelers are much better vs the run than pass.

I could also bench Nico because teams do not pass against the Bills despite them being a top 4 scoring offense. But, Davis Mills seems to only pass to Collins and Schultz so, he should see 10+ targets tonight. If it were full PPR it wouldn't be a question but, in half PPR it's close.

I start the Rams ATM. They're playing much too well.

Collins>Swift

Saquon>Javonte

Schedule is too good and, like you said that defense looks like it is going to provide a ton of opportunities for the offense.

Schultz is getting the kind of volume from Mills that is hard to pass up (26 targets in 11 quarters). In PPR, I think he is still a good start.

After him, probably Dortch for the reason you said. Teams don't run against the Jags and the Cardinals can't run regardless.

I am not betting on the IND/KC game being high scoring.

I don't seem much value in Coker or Hopkins.

Schultz>Dortch

Low-scoring league for QB's... 3 pts/TD pass, 6 pts/TD rush/rec, 1 pt/20 yds passing, 1 pt/10 yds rush/rec (no PPR).

Dak vs PHI
OR
Dart @ DET (if he plays)

Same league...
Iosivas vs NE
OR
Doubs vs MIN

I think with the rush yards and rush TD premium I would go with Dart in a, slightly better matchup. Game script should also be favorable.

Dart>Dak
========================

LOL. Flip a coin.

My impulse is to go with Doubs because, at least I know he has a primary role in the offense. But, the Bengals pass the ball almost more than anyone and the Pats are more of a pass funnel defense. I think it's a bit more risk but

Iosivas>Doubs

One more. Half PPR and typical scoring otherwise (6 pts/TD and 1 pt/10 yds rec). Pick 2 of 3....

Pittman @ KC
McMillan @ SF
DK @ CHI

McMillan has been hot lately and I expect CAR to have to continue to throw some to keep up. I would usually go with Pittman as well, but DK's matchup looks way better on paper.

Defense question:

* BALT vs NYJ -- Balt D improving but in no way dominant. T. Taylor starting. That may be an improvement. No G. Wilson so I'd think scoring could be tough to come by.

or

* LV vs CLE -- LV D is by no means a good D, but they're at home and facing a CLE offense starting S. Sanders. Could be a classic trap D selection...or a bonanza.

Which?

Standard Scoring non-ppr league:

I need to start 2 of these players:

Chase Brown vs NE - Has done very well recently with limited touches; may be involved more this week with JC out of the lineup
Travis Etienne vs ARI - Assuming he plays; he gave way to an equal share to Tuten before he was dinged up; then carried the load to a 2-td performance. Has been fairly consistent this year but no one feels good about it; I've left him on my bench several times when he has scored meaningful points.
Olave vs ATL - Target and yardage have been there so he has a decent floor; It's only when he scores a TD that he is valuable in a non-ppr;

Thoughts?

Yeah, I need two. Was pretty much assuming McMillan would be #1... Debating between DK and Pittman for the second choice. Thanks.

Michael Pittman @ KC
David Montgomery v NYG

Pittman has been great, I'm a little worried about the match up - although the Colts ARE coming off of their bye.
Monty has been underwhelming as of late, but the Lions need him to be more involved - plus its a great match up, and the Lions are typically dominant after a loss.

Thoughts?

Ugly-Gross TE start help needed here fellas. Lost Kraft in a deep roster dynasty, not much to choose from.

TEP

Brock Wright v NYG
David Njoku @ LV (Likely OUT, but maybe)

I'm patiently waiting, and hoping that Waller comes back and is useful at some point.

FA's available you ask? Sure. But I'd have to make a tough drop, but here they are:

Taysom Hill v ATL (Taysom has a sweet tooth for ATL)
Darnell Washington @ CHI
Jackson Hawes @ HOU (I have Josh Allen)

Thanks. I realize this is NOT easy to help with, but any thoughts are appreciated.

I'll start. Need a defense this week.

ATL @ NO
SEA @ TEN
CLE @ LVR
LVR v CLE

Leaning Seattle. Strong D, great matchup, must win, rebound game.
I think Seattle is the #1 defense this week. Titans are down their top-2 WRs, and Seattle just mostly shut down the best offense in the NFL.
The London injury has killed me. I need a FLEX, 0.5 PPR:
  • J Jennings vs. Panthers
  • Charbonnet vs. Titans
I'd roll with Jennings. He (along with SF in general) has gotten healthier, and this is a potential shootout.
QB:

Caleb v PIT
Darnold @ TEN

Leaning Caleb. The PIT D is much better v the run than the pass and, Seattle should roll TEN so, maybe another hyper efficient but, low volume game from Darnold.
Close to a coin flip, I lean Caleb due to rushing upside. There is a scenario where they try to get Darnold back on track by being very pass heavy in a great matchup, but that feels less likely than your scenario.

I'd go Watson. Love has had some big games against the Vikings, and Watson has kind of become a 1B to Doubs in my opinion.

I'd go Pitts at TE. London is out, and Pitts had 9 catches in his last game with Cousins. I'm a little less confident in Schultz as well, with all of Nico, Kirk, Higgins playing.
First one:
FFPC scoring:
Need TWO flex plays:

X. Worthy vs Ind

D. Mooney @ NO

W. Robinson @ Det

C. Watson vs Minn
I think Robinson and Mooney would be my plays. Watson is tempting, but with London out, its really hard to sit Mooney.
My dilemma...need to start 2 of these 4 RBs. PPR - bonus for long TDs

Spears vs. Sea
Jeanty vs. CLE
Monangi vs. Pitt
Allgier @ NO
Despite the egg against Dallas, I think Jeanty has to be one of them, simply on volume. Raiders shouldn't be playing from behind against the Browns. I lean Monangai at the other spot, with the hope of a GL TD.
PPR League. Want to get this one in since Nico Collins plays tmrw.

Basically the question is, should a sit Nico tmrw?

I have to start two WRs and also need a flex. I have these 4 WRs:

* N. Collins vs BUFF -- Not a great matchup, but it's at home, and Mills has eyes for Nico.

* T. Higgins vs NE -- Can't imagine sitting him with Chase out.

* G. Pickens vs PHI -- Tough matchup against a PHI D that seems to be coming on, but it's hard to sit this guy right now as well.

* T. McMillan @SF -- A good matchup against a banged up SF D.

One of these guys has to sit.

Now this is a superflex league. What I could do is this:

1) Start Nico tmrw. See where that lands. Then...

2) ...Decide who to sit among the above three WRs vs. Sam Darnold in the superflex spot.

Sit Collins? Or roll with him and then decide on benching a WR vs. Darnold later?

Thanks
You definitely don't sit Darnold in Superflex.

I think despite what happened last week, I sit Pickens. Liekly matched up with Quinyon Mitchell who handled him in week 1. If I were raning your WRs this week it'd be: Higgins>Collins>McMilan>Pickens.
PPR League. Need to sit one of these four in a two flex league:

* D. Schultz vs BUF -- Have been riding him in the flex with great results. However, BUF D is #1 when it comes to points against TEs. Tough matchup.

* P. Washington @AZ -- This one could be a sneaky high scorer. Laid an egg last week. Meyers coming on. No word on BTJ. His underlying metrics last week were still solid though.

* I. Iosivas vs NE -- Chase out. He could see targets, maybe a lot of em, if NE starts getting up big. Could see Gonzo on Higgins too.

* T. Pollard vs SEA -- Terrible matchup against a SEA D coming off a tough loss. Not a ton of upside here. Maybe he falls into the endzone.

Who gets benched?

As an aside, this is really a "Should I Bench D. Schultz?" question in disguise since HOU plays tmrw night.

Thanks!
I think I'd sit Washington. Thomas seems likely to play, and Meyers took on a bigger role in game 2 with the Jags, reasonable to assume that keeps growing.
.5 PPR

Usual dilemma, which I've been getting wrong every week:

Swift vs Pit
D Adams vs TB
N Collins vs Buf
K Williams vs TB

Need to sit 1
I'm sitting Swift out of that group, and that's probably the answer most weeks. I'd never sit Adams, who is likely gonna lead the league in TD catches this season.
Missed out on Wilson. Assuming Jacibs doesn't play:

0.5 ppr
Tuten vs Ari (I also own ETN)
Bam vs Jax

Defense:
LV vs Cle
LAR vs TB
I think Knight is your guy. Pretty decent matchup, and no real competition unless Benson is surprisingly active.

I'd go with the Raiders D. Shedeur Sanders looked like he'd never played QB in his limited work last week. Everyone is talking about Myles Garrett against the Raiders, I think the bigger game comes from Maxx Crosby against the Browns.
Flacco v Pats
Rudolph @ Bears (if Rodgers out obviously)
Mills V Bills (hey it rhymes)

Not feeling great about this as Herbert and Nix sit on the beach
Is there nobody else on waivers? Lawrence? Shough? Young? I mean, it sounds like Burrow is gonna be back this week, so I guess Mills of that group, as he's potentially the only one starting.

I think Marks is a pretty clear call this week. Bills are the worst run D he's faced, and this is maybe the best his role has ever looked.
Another one.... Pretty standard scoring except 6pts per TD (passing included).

Danny Jones @ KC
OR
Dak vs PHI
I'd go Dak. Its a bad matchup, but its indoors, where Dak is best, and Dallas is fully healthy.
scoring is non-ppr

Need 2 from the following

KW3 @ titans
Judkins @ Vegas
Flowers vs Jets
Jamo vs Giants

Probably lean with the 2 RBs but Jamo has been on a tear
I think you have to go Williams while LaPorta is out, in such a great matchup, and indoors. I like Walker as the 2nd guy. Maybe he's starting to separate?
PPR 1QB 2RB 1TE

Maye @CIN....will they have to throw?
Mayfield @ LAR

Warren @ CHI inj?
Rico @ SF
C Brown vs NE

T Warren @ KC
Ferguson vs PHI
I like Maye at QB. Maybe he only throws 25 times, but it'll liekly be an extremely effective 25 times, and with Burrow looking back, maybe its a sneaky shootout?

Regardless of Warren's status, I think Dowdle and Brown are your RBs.

I go Warren over Ferguson. Eagles LBs are maybe the strength of the defense.
PPR

Josh Allen @ Hou
Stafford Vs TB

Thanks
I think you never bench Josh Allen. Maybe Stafford will be better some weeks, but Allen is always a threat to have multiple rushing scores to easily offset a bad passing matchup.
PPR Need one Flex:

Ferguson vs Philly
Juwan Johnson vs Atl
Bam Night vs Jax
Godwin @ LAR
Kareem Hunt vs Ind
Andrei Losivas vs NE
Jacoby Meyers @Ariz
Boutte @ Cin

Thanks.
Being PPR, I think I'd go with Juwan Johnson. He's the clear #2 with Shaheed traded, and Cooks cut.

I think DK didn't get it done against Cincinnati so, I'm not sure the matchup is so important. Rudolph may lock in on him more and, he isn't a terrible option considering your others but for me

Tet>Pittman>DK

Defense question:

* BALT vs NYJ -- Balt D improving but in no way dominant. T. Taylor starting. That may be an improvement. No G. Wilson so I'd think scoring could be tough to come by.

or

Thoughts?
In non-PPR I have to bench Olave (in PPR I start him over the others so, it's still close). I was encouraged last game against Carolina but, I'm not ready to rely on Shough when you have two other RBs who will see 15+ opportunities and get some GL work (if available)

Brown>ETN>Olave

One more:
FFPC scoring:
Which QB:

J. Dart @ Det

S. Darnold @ Tenn
I think Darnold will be fine but, this could be a low volume game for him if Seattle does what they should do to TEN.

I'll go with Dart and his running ability along with a, likely, positive game script.

Dart>Darnold

It's close but, if the Lions do what they think they should do then, Monty should see 15ish opportunities.

And the Giants have given up more rush TDs than almost anyone.

Pittman has the safer floor but, in 0.5 PPR
