Week 12 2025 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (8 Viewers)

Ugly-Gross TE start help needed here fellas. Lost Kraft in a deep roster dynasty, not much to choose from.

TEP

Brock Wright v NYG
David Njoku @ LV (Likely OUT, but maybe)

I'm patiently waiting, and hoping that Waller comes back and is useful at some point.

FA's available you ask? Sure. But I'd have to make a tough drop, but here they are:

Taysom Hill v ATL (Taysom has a sweet tooth for ATL)
Darnell Washington @ CHI
Jackson Hawes @ HOU (I have Josh Allen)

Thanks. I realize this is NOT easy to help with, but any thoughts are appreciated.
LOL uhhhhhhhhh...

No earthly idea but, did you see this CRUSH ALL ENEMIES...

Washington>Puny TEs
Ok. I’m back for more thoughts on this TE start … Njoku is healthy, and will start.

He hasn’t been used the way that he should (imo) this season. Maybe Shedaur Sanders targets the big guy?

Njoku @ LV
Brock Wright v NYG
Darnell Washington @ CHI
If Lions are stomping the Giants maybe they try to get everybody, including Wright, a TD?

Not really a confident choice there, sorry and godspeed!

PPR Need to start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex
McCaffrey vs Carolina
Jeanty vs Cleveland
J Warren at Chicago
Gainwell at Chicago
E Wilson vs Minnesota
R Rice vs Indy
Jamo Williams vs New York G
Tetairoa McMillan at San Francisco
AJ Brown at Dallas

Thanks!

Standard Old Man TD Heavy, Need 2 of 4:
Justin Jefferson:sadbanana:
Odunze
Alec Pierce
Tet McMillan
Kinda gotta be Jefferson because he's still the best player at the position of your options. And probably Tet because Young doesn't have a lot of targets.

Odunze is interesting because the Pittsburgh pass D isn't good but, I'm not sure about weather and, this looks like a lower scoring game.

Pierce is really coming on but, I hate the matchup.

JJ>Tet>Odunze>Pierce

OK last one:
I'm stuck on this one like a band-aid on a hairy arm:
FFPC scoring:
Need FOUR of the following:

A. Jones @ GB

J. Warren @ Chi (assuming he plays)

W. Robinson @ Det

X. Worthy vs Ind

D. Mooney @ NO

C. Watson vs Minn
Since you need four I immediately like Watson for the upside. He's your best home run option and, I like having someone like that in my lineup.

After Wan'Dale disappointed with Jameis last week, in still willing to risk that this could be the high volume week we expect when Winston is under center. He still got 9 looks last week.

Warren doesn't have a designation (trust but verify) so, I like him to slide back to more feature role again.

No interest in Worthy.

Between Jones & Mooney I probably lean Jones because, I know the Vikings will try to feed him and run clock.

I like Mooney but,.I don't trust Mooney.

Watson>Wan'Dale>Warren>Jones>Mooney>Worthy

Superflex league. 4 pts per passing TD.

Burrow or Darnold?

* J. Burrow vs NE -- Assuming he starts of course. NE easier thrown on vs. run on. Attack should be pass heavy potentially playing catchup.

or

* S. Darnold @TN -- Good get right spot. May not be much need to throw much here in a potential blowout, but I'd expect high efficiency and a decent floor at minimum with potential for some long/easy TD throws.

Which?

Thanks
IMO, if Burrow starts, he starts.

Burrow>Darnold

PPR league. This is only if K. Walker is ruled out.

* Z. Charbonet @ TN -- Would be a smash spot for sure especially if SEA gets up big. What's his name (Hononi??) would get touches as well, but...

or

* C. Brown vs NE -- Burrow out. Not a good matchup for rushing stats at all, but NE does give up receptions to RBs. Would have to be counting on this and maybe 40 yards rushing ish.

Which?

Thanks
It's about risk aversion. I know Brown will get opportunities. I believe Charbonet will get opportunities. Big difference between knowing and believing.

If Charbs is getting touches, good things are happening but,

It's PPR and Ja'Marr is out so

C.Brown>Charbonet

Constantly changing my mind between Jaylen Warren, Sean Tucker and Judkins. .5PPR

Judkins has a great matchup. But the Cleveland O is a dumpster fire, and no involvement in the passing game.

Warren has a nice matchup. But Arthur Smith🤡 keeps pulling him in the red zone for Gainwell.

Tucker has a brutal matchup. But it could be a high scoring game with multiple goal line opportunities.

I'd like to go with Warren but I don't trust Arthur Smith. Warren has been very efficient all year but Arthur Smith has a love affair with Gainwell.

Various Steeler beat writers have been clamoring for Warren to be used more since he's been their best offensive player.
I'm a traumatized Raiders fan and Judkins should see 20 touches. If it was full PPR I might feel different.

I like Warren next because he's still a feature part of the Steelers offense and, is very versatile.

In this situation, Tucker feels like chasing points.

Judkins>Warren>Tucker

Goff vs NYG
Purdy vs CAR

Tucker @ LAR
Gainwell @ CHI
Flip a coin, they're very similar options.

I flip-flop between them. I probably land on Goff because I think they're angry but, either is great.

Goff>Purdy
≠=================

If it's PPR probably Gainwell because of pass game work and a better matchup.

But, both kind of feel like chasing last week's results.

Gainwell>Tucker

12-team PPR league, start 2 RB 2 WR 1 flex.

Pick 2
  • Doubs vs Minn
  • Pearsall vs Car
  • Boutte @ Cinci
  • Tucker @ LAR
Leaning Doubs and Pearsall, but with low confidence, Love Boutte's matchup but have no idea how they'll use him in his first game back, and a little scared of Tucker facing the Rams D.

14-team non-PPR, need bye week fill-in for Gadsden
  • Barner @ Tenn
  • Strange @ Ari
Was all set to go with Barner as the best of a bunch of bad options (Mason Taylor, Fant). But Strange just got activated off IR. There's a chance they ease him back in, but given that it's non-PPR, the floor for any TE is basically zero, so might as well go for upside.
That was my feeling as well. Also, Boutte can be completely healthy and still see very low volume in this offense.

Doubs>Pearsall>Boutte>Tucker
===================

No idea. Probably Barner because of the matchup but, no way to really know between them.

Barner>Strange

Lotta unknowns here. You're probably right but, I also wonder if Washington has earned more looks. Personally, I'm a risk taker

Washington>Njoku

Need one of:

T Henderson @ CIN (Mondre active)
S Tucker @ LAR (Bucky out)
B Tuten @ ARI (ETN active)
Still Henderson because of the matchup. That defense is a must start against option.

Was there a question about ETN's status? Tuten is the one who left the game last week. Tuten hadn't been getting a lot of looks or looking good when he did to this point. Not sure I'm hitching my wagon to that just yet.

At least Tucker put up a monster.

Henderson>Tucker>Tuten

Flacco or Bryce Young? Opponent had Allen who only got him 8 so I’m a decent favorite right now.
I'd be tempted to go with Bryce. New England is a pass funnel but, the Niners have been really bad against the pass.

Risky either way but

Young>Flacco

Standard League Non PPR:

Flacco vs NE
Trevor Lawrence @ Ariz
Rodgers @ Chi
Winston @ Det
Who knows?

I lean Jameis because of more likely potential for a trail game script and, he just has that ability to put up 400-4 that I don't really see in the others.

Jameis>Lawrence>Flacco>Rodgers

PPR Which Def:

Ravens Vs NYJ
GB vs Min
LV vs Clev
It's a risk but, I might go with the Raiders here and hope Shedeur implodes.

The Pack is the best IRL D of the bunch.

But, I keep thinking that the Ravens at home is the smart play for ceiling/floor.

BAL>LV>GB

PPR Need to start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex
McCaffrey vs Carolina
Jeanty vs Cleveland
J Warren at Chicago
Gainwell at Chicago
E Wilson vs Minnesota
R Rice vs Indy
Jamo Williams vs New York G
Tetairoa McMillan at San Francisco
AJ Brown at Dallas

Thanks!
I definitely bench CMC & Rashee. Those guys suck. 😉

Tighten up your list Schmeabs. 🙏

I take Jamo as your #2 WR. He's on a heater, it's a good matchup and, maybe the Lions have a pride game. He also has that big play ability above anyone else on the list.

I probably roll Warren out at RB2 because he doesn't have a designation and he's the most versatile of your options ATM.

Can't start Wilson or Gainwell at flex IMO. Too much unknown and, I wouldn't start both Steeler RBs because I don't think that pie is big enough.

Jeanty has scored in 5 of 10 games which, is nice and, he should see 20+ opportunities but, that offense has been terrible and the Browns D can still rock.

To me it comes down to Tet and AJ and, they both have great matchups. You'd think AJ would be a smash start here but, man there is something off with him & Hurts. Yet just sees a ton more volume.

Jamo>Warren>Tet>Aj
