Hawkins put up 130yds on 7 attempts but only a long of 23yds, which is average at best.Leodis McKelvin (BUF) also saw a reduced returning role, fielding just 2 of the teams 6 KR's, but obviously made owners very happy with his INT's, one for a TD, and other IDP stats.

Allen Rossum (SF) left the game during the 2nd quarter with a sprained ankle.

Brian Witherspoon (JAC) fumbled a KR that the Vikings recovered and scored from within a few plays. Perhaps someone who saw the game can confirm whether this was why MJD accumulated 4 KR.

Does Carr pick back up the return duties next week? At least maybe the punt return duties?
I just read a blurb saying harper may be back this week, which pushes carr off the starting cb spot and maybe returns him to kr duty, but that's all just my speculation w/o having read anything other than that blurb.mckelvin may be off return duties while starting at cb, which I'd imagine he'd continue as long as greer is out.so, monitor greer news later this week.and I just wanted to call attention to manning's emergence as kr in chicago.he only got the 2 opportunities because they were playing st louis, and the other team has to actually score to get you a kr, but he may have supplanted hester in the kr role, if not pr, at least temporarily.he had a couple chances earlier in the year when hester had his rib injury and I think he did pretty well w/them, if I recall correctly.my top of the head impression is that minny may not be real strong on special teams d, and you'd think they could score a little more than st louis.(game's at minny)
