Week 12 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

CBS:

Burress, Plaxico WR NYGNews: Giants WR Plaxico Burress, who came into Week 12 at Arizona as a game-time decision due to a hamstring injury, was listed as active and was able to start the game. However, he was taken out after only two drives having made no catches. Analysis: Burress was targeted twice in the game before leaving, including a deep pass down field. He was seen on the sideline with a hat on and his return was considered doubtful for the rest of the game. It seems Fantasy owners who took a chance on him will be left with nothing to show for it. The Giants will travel to Washington in Week 13. Consider Burress only as a No. 3 receiver for that matchup as he's been very weak with his production since a big game in Week 1. Monitor his progress leading up to the game to see if he can play a full game.

I don't think it has been posted that Julius Jones left the game with a calf injury. It doesn't look like he had a carry after that.

AP was kept out of the first few series NOT because of an illness as previously reported. He was late for a meeting per Sirius radio.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak expects Ahman Green to miss at least the next two weeks with a left knee injury.

Green still has an MRI to undergo on Monday and more damage could be revealed. Ahman is not a quick healer at this stage of his career, so he easily could miss more time than this early estimate. Green had been taking short-yardage carries recently and vulturing touchdowns. Steve Slaton should re-assume that role and will be a borderline RB1 while Green is out.

Green is going to be one sore dude the rest of his life. Seemed like a pretty good guy two once he realized you can't assault people.

Nice dig, except Ahman Green was cleared of all charges. If you want to trash someone at least get the facts right. Now if you were mocking several other Nebraska running backs you would be correct.Ahman is an all around nice guy and is still heavily involved in the Omaha area with youth organizations.
