Thanks to Chris Johnson and TB Mike for combining to give me 4 pts today. 
Went into the SD/Indy game with a 12 pt lead and VJax to go with my opponent with only SD D.
Between VJax out and Buckethead throwing INT's all over the field (including a pick six, really?) I'm toast.
Oh and I had Gates on the bench so i'm sure he'll go for 200 yds receiving with 3 TD's.

Went back and forth between Dez and Jacoby Ford. Just had a hunch that Dez's streak was gonna come to an end. Waited one week to long to pull him. Lost by 7 points.

Heh, Tolbert's hurt now...of course he is. Yet another guy I lose in the first half of a game...never in the 4th quarter after they've put up some pts. for me. I needed only another 22 yds from him to win. What crap year all around

Mistake 1 Started Matt Ryan over Matt Cassel
Mistake 2 Expected Chris Johnson to get at least a couple points (what the hell was I thinking? Crazy right....)
Mistake 3 Had to start Boldin due to Nicks injury
Mistake 4 Figured that the Houston pass D was so bad that even Nate Washington could get some points with Rusty whatshisface throwing to him

1) Had the league overturn a trade where I was offered MJD for Gates. MJD has promptly had 4 straight 100 yard games and several TD's. Gates of course on the pine.
2) Steve Johnson drop cost me 16 points. 6 for the TD, 5 for going over 100 yards and 5 for the yardage.
3) Reggie Wayne's drops cost me 7 points with Manning not going over 300 yards and associated yardage
4) Falcons not stopping Rodgers on 4th down cost me 14 points. 5 on the Bryant field goal, and 9 on the final garbage play to Jennings (again going over 100 yards for the bonus)
Should be winning in a romp - instead up 11 with the Niners D going against Fitzgerald. not looking good. Going against division leader. If I won I had a shot at the bye with a win next week - now I probably have to win or I'll be participating in the toilet bowl.

Injuries basically are derailing my teams. One league I lost 2 games in a row now to a team that was starting someone that didn't play. Only to follow up with my players getting hurt or failing to show up.
Was forced to start Vincent Jackson, the team this week had Cutler. who got a little over half his teams points.
Last week I lost to a team that started Brees ( bye ) Steve Smith ( DNP ) and Gostkoski ( IR ) lol.

Me too...I missed a chance in Week 4 or 5 to trade Boldin for Hillis straight up and now watching every turd Boldin puts up just stings that much more.

One league....I lost when Steve Johnson dropped the sure TD.....I had Johnson and Fitzpatrick going in that game....that drop cost me 19 pts. That league I was still up 17 going into the Sunday Night game and my opponent had Kaeding...... and Kaeding kicks 5 FGs.
Another league - with Nicks going down, I insert VJax into the lineup, only to see him leave with a mysterious calf injury. Thanks Vincent.
This year can't end quick enough.

yea dont know what to say i have done some bone head moves but that takes the cake... mine is a close second... had tolbert, goodson, bradshaw on bench and played Dez bryant instead....that deserves aAll morning couldn't decide between Shaun Hill and Tom Brady. Guess which one I went with?

Yeah. I needed 20 more yards. Winner is in the playoffs, loser probably not. About as torturous as it gets. Gore would have racked up 150-200 total yards tonight and punched in that touchdown without a problem.
+1. And I lost last week by ~2 points when McMichael put up a zero.

I have the same exact prob.. had roethlisberger in last week instead of orton and cost me the game and this week had Ben in and still won... I think im goin with Orton this week... he killed Kc last time.. ben plays bal.. hoping im right... still have a tough team im 9-3I do the same thing each week with Orton and Roethlisberger. I dont have him in any of my 18 leagues LOL but yea that really sucks man sorry to hear that... ffootball can be rough sometimes... Gore plays, gains 43 yards, we're tied... and then Gore walks off to the locker room.
Gore comes back, has 1 carry for 9 yards, and heads back to the sideline for good.

It feels dirty to complain about such a dynasty roster, but it is seriously falling to pieces at exactly the wrong time. 8-4, almost locked up a playoff spot, but feeling like an ugly first-round exit is in the works.

My dynasty season is falling apart due to injuries. Was 9-0 leading league in points, now I have lost 3 straight and have scored lowest points for the last 3 weeks.

After putting up 100+ points every week my team had the worst week ever only to lose with to the guy who has the 2nd worst points this week :-(. All my players didn't show up. Chris Johnson, White, Santana, LT and Williams (TB) got 15 points total. That's just ridiculous. Would have been better off gambling with Obomanu which would have given me the win but I couldn't trust my instincts. And then I was going to drop Card or SF defense this week and pick up Westy for a wth pick but I ended up dropping SF on Sunday Night for Donald Brown. Ahhh, stupid. I wish I had the courage to listen to my gut.
Now that I think about it, it's pretty funny. I'm only 7-4 because of points against being insanely high and every other week I have been fighting for my life while everyone else has the games of their lives so I thought I would have a team that was high scoring yet got screwed because of the schedule but the one week I didn't have to put up much of a fight my team just tanks lol. I mean really, that's just like super unlucky. God must be laughing somewhere! I didn't think there was much worse than a high scoring loss but this one was pretty tough considering the guy who beat me is now tied with me for the division lead. Ouch! Oh well, stuff happens right?

Had Gore and Hillis so about 3 weeks ago I traded Jamal Charles for Terrell Owens.
Now I'm regretting that move. BJGE goes in my lineup to replace Gore instead of Charles. On top of that, TO hasn't done much of anything since I got him.

Lost by 6 freaking points! CJ2 got me 3 points and Rivers gets me 8. If either one scores their season average I win.
Last week I lost by 2 points because I waited to see if Gates would play and ended up with McMichael's zero. This week I decided to play Bo Scaife instead of waiting to see if Gates plays. And of course I lose by 2 points because Scaife scores 1 and Gates scores 4.5. WTF.

Here is my ##### for the season. Lead league in total points and breakdown as shown in CBS website. Lost by three this week with big fat zero from Dez. Record of 5-7. No playoffs. You can't tell me its not mostly luck.

Made a smart move this week, seeing my Detroit D going up against New England, picked up Arizona D, playing Troy Smith and the 49ers. Just got shut out last week, playing like crap. Went into Monday night needing 2 points from my D to tie, 3 to win, smugly noting that the Lions put up just 1 point.
That dang almost sack, almost fumble, almost intentional grounding play would have done it. Instead, 2 points and a tie, which with our playoff scenarios was equivalent to a loss for me. I'm 84-44-4 on the all-play breakdown and #1 in points, but 6-5-1 in reality; a loss this week and I'm out.

There's definately some luck involved. Bring up to your league the idea of paying out some money to most points as well as the champ. We do that in most of the leagues I'm in, the guy who has the best team all season deserves something IMO.

I haven't visited this thread but once before and I can see why. This is brutal too, this game can mess with your mind. The whole Gates things has thrown everyone through a loop since there's very limited options out there and the 2 TD performance that McMichael had the first day Gates was out really was misleading like he was a good option to do the whole play Gates or McMichael thing last minute, but that hasn't proved useful at all.

In one league I'm in, it's a 2 start QB league. I lost by 5 points and my two Qb's are Big Ben and Rivers. Neither of those 2 Qb's ran or threw a TD pass last week.If you tell me I need 1 TD rushing or passing from either Big Ben or Rivers and I win, I would think I have a pretty good shot of doing that wouldn't you?
