Forte down holding knee - announcer speculating a hyperextension
I believe it to be more this than an ACL or ligament tear.
If this is the case, how long will he be out
This is why you do not invest alot of money in RBs. Good move by the Bears not to re-do Fortes contract until the seasons over.
On the flip side, this is why it's smart for players to hold out for a contract. People are fed up with guys like Desaun Jackson for his antics but millions of dollars can be flushed down the drain after one play. Players in their prime only have one shot at a big payday and the small window of opportunity can slam shut with just one bad injury.

Nate Washington just went down in the Bills/Titans game, and it looks bad. Left ankle. Could be an achilles, didn't look like a break. He was screaming.

ETA - he walked off and was limping on the sideline.

You know, I know there are threads on this, but when is AJ not injured? I know talent wise he's a top WR in the NFL, but I'd seriously want no parts of owning him at his price in re-draft leagues.
Please do not use this thread for anything except injury reports and questions related to those injuries. Thanks.

Completely edited with different Chicago sun times update

Forte believed to have sprained MCL

The Chicago Sun-Times' Sean Jensen reports Matt Forte's knee injury is believed to be a sprained right MCL.

Jensen reports "further tests are necessary," but it appears Forte has dodged a bullet after there were rumors that he had torn his ACL. He'll still be staring at a multi-week absence with a sprained MCL, but could be back in as little in two weeks. How much time he misses will ultimately depend on what degree tear he has. Stay tuned.

Any news on James Starks?
You probably will have better luck asking in the correct thread. This one is for people that got hurt playing this week. Not for players your wonder if they play this week.
Ankle injury - Questionable to return

Smith down. Ankle again

They showed him throwing his stuff down on the sideline and Al said "looks like he is done for the night"
