Week 14 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

from Fanball....Willis McGahee is on the sidelines with an upset stomach, according to CBS reports. Our ViewMcGahee left during the Bills' second offensive possession, returned for one play – a 57-yard touchdown run – and has been sitting on the sidelines with his shoulder pads off ever since. It is uknown if he'll return to action, but fantasy owners can take some solace in the fact that he apparently has not re-injured his gimpy ankle or his tender ribs.
Thanks for the update. Hope Fanball is correct on this.

Anybody have anything on Jerious Norwood? Fanball is the only place I see reporting anything and they are saying possibly serious and possibly season ending...please say it ain't so.

ESPN now saying that Norwood has a "sore right knee" and Mora said both Norwood and Dunn would be questionable next week...coach speak.

Seahawks: Jackson leaves with toe injury

12/10/06 07:04 PM

THE NEWS

Darrell Jackson was forced to leave today's game against the Cardinals due to an injury to his toe. Jackson started the game for the Seahawks, but apparently suffered a turf toe injury during the game, and was forced to the sidelines as a result.

Our View

Jackson did catch a touchdown in the contest, so all was not lost for him statistically. No word has been given about his availability for next week, but it's not a good sign that he wasn't able to continue.

What's up with Colston? They said Jamal Jones was in because Colston got hurt (not watching the game)...

He was rubbing his calf and came off. Not sure if it was just a cramp or he might have an achilles injury that was aggravted.

THX ST.Also, just now from Rotoworld:Marques Colston, who is playing tonight against the Cowboys, has left during the second quarter with an injury to his right calf or upper ankle area.Trainers came out to massage his leg while he laid on the field, so odds are that he was merely cramping. Jamal Jones has come into the game while Colston waits on the sideline.

Kevin Jones, he's going to need an MRI, and uh, so we'll, we'll have to...I don't want to talk about it until we get that done.
Well, that sounds like he'll be good to go next week...
Did you see the injury????Not very pretty. Also someone mentioned he "walked off the field w/ help from the trainers".From what I saw, he had his shoe off and had no weight whatsoever on the foot.

The Daily Tribune is reporting Jones is "almost surely lost for the last three games"link

Midway down in the article.

I probably should have added the sarcasm sign to my post. This is pure speculation on my part, but I think it's extremely unlikely that KJ will be available again this year. That was my thought when I saw it, that's what it sounds like sifting through the coach speak, and that's what the media is speculating. Even if everyone is wrong, most FF teams can't afford to be without him for one week since it's the playoffs.

MLive.com has confirmed that Kevin Jones has a "full blown" Lisfranc fracture/dislocation that will take at least six months to recover from.

He will have surgery in the next 3-5 days, which shows that this injury is more serious than similar injuries that Brian Westbrook and Brian Dawkins had earlier in their careers. It's a fracture, not a sprain. Some estimates say that it could take a year to fully recover. Dec. 11 - 5:24 pm et

from rotoworld

Rams defensive end Leonard Little is out for the rest Monday night's game after taking a "blow to the throat" in the second half.Little finished up with just two solo tackles. St. Louis' depth at defensive end is being severely tested with Victor Adeyanju also out due to a broken arm. Rookie tackle Gabe Watson is sometimes used outside.
:banned: Here's to hoping that he swallowed his adam's apple. :banned:

I noticed Issac Bruce limped off the field last night, didn't hear anything afterwards....

Any news?

Darrell Jackson is out for this week's game with a turf toe ...

Brandon Stokley is done for the year with a ruptured Achilles' tendon.
