Lamar Miller got hit in the head by Ziggy Hood. He got up quickly and ran off but I wouldn't be surprised if they go through the concussion protocol.

CBS confirmed a concussion for Miller. It's Thomas the rest of the way.

That's an excellent question. I'm not sure if "speeding up" the NFL's concussion protocol is allowed.

Not sure of the rules, but I know bell was fine, but wasn't officially cleared until 7 days later.

It may or may not be factored in by Fox, but they realistically don't need him to beat SD at home. Vegas already has them favored by 11.

Have seen multiple players cleared for contact sooner than Zurich consensus five day protocol in past two seasons.

Was confirmed to me by two sources earlier this year that NFL teams can advance players by two stages in same day.

That said, this is Welkers second concussion in past two months. Expect Denver to be cautious, consider him doubtful at best for Week 15.
