I'm cussing out Barber too (or maybe I should say Barber III). His big fat zero helped end my season and keeps me out of the playoffs. That and the fact that my opponent had Maurice Jones-Drew.F U MARIAN BARBER... Benched J.Lewis and KJ over u11.2 points on top and my opponent has Holt... PRAYING
Holy ####. Lost by 5 yards. I didn't even expect to have a chance, that was just brutal. Good luck to everyone else.Cruised in as a #2 seed, played team with Gore and MJD!!!! He toyed with me all week, had Droughns starting before Thur., then switched to Edge. 10 min before kickoff, he switches to MJD on a "hunch". Oh well, need 20 pts from Big Game tonight for the upset and the $$$.Also sat BushAt least there's no one to blame but myself. First year in FF, only gets better I guess.
I knew I'd find you here!! What a hearbreaker!!Fuzzy McGillicuddy said:Week 1 of our league playoffs.... My idiot kicker Shayne Graham misses an extra point on Sunday. I end up tying my game but lose on the tie-breaker. AAAUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH.![]()
Let me vent against Willis Mcgahee first. I took him first, 12th overall, in a league I ended up paying about $3,279 to be in. I benched him 3 weeks ago when he first came back from his injury because I was unsure what kind of load he could carry and he went on to have his best game year to date. So I put him back in my lineup last week and he sucked. So I benched him again this week mainly due again to injury concerns and he went on to have his best game of the year. So in a major league my first round pick proceeds to have his best two fantasy games of the year the 2 weeks I benched him.![]()
BTW-In this same league I usually flip flopped between Kennison and Mark Clayton all year for my third WR spot and the two big games Kennision had were on my bench and the 2 of the 3 big games Clayton had were on my bench as I made the wrong call between these two all year.![]()
Thanks, but the one good thing is I did not lose all that money. This league was introduced to WCOFF by a member who posts on here by the name of Captian Hook and this was the first year WCOFF held this league which of course is a seperate league from their main event. To summarize as best I can in this 12 team league we each paid $5k to join. $2k went towards the base entry fee. $1k went towards blind free agent bidding for the year which you could not exceed $1k but any unused portion will be returned to you after the season. The final $2k of the $5k went towards bidding for your draft position for the first two rounds and you could, as some teams did, actually go over the $5k and if you did so you just had to pay with a credit card and again any unused portion was returned to us. The way the bidding for draft position went is you bid on your spot in the first round and than immediately made your pick. The pick you bought in the first round set your draft order up in the third round and beyond with the usual serpentine order. So if you bought the first pick you also got to pick first in the third and of course last in the 4th. The bidding for the second round draft pick was just for that pick.Let me vent against Willis Mcgahee first. I took him first, 12th overall, in a league I ended up paying about $3,279 to be in. I came here to give you some company, since misery loves it...but having blown that kind of coin you need the company of a big bottle of hooch, and the comfort that only heavy
can provide.
