Week 15 NYJ at New England Patriots (1 Viewer)

Jets accused Patriots of cheating

Patriots playing at home; will have the fans behind them.

Playing in the Flex spot since NBC has announced they will flex New England into the remaining games. They will get to set the record in front of a national audience.

Jets fans are loud and obnoxious especially that Fireman guy spelling JETS. The beating they get will definitely shut them up.

Who knows they are 2 - 8 right now if they go into that game 2 - 12 or 3 - 11; and the Pats put 70 plus on them Mangini may end up getting fired.

Imagine that BB can not only humilate the JETS organization for calling them cheaters but also get there coach fired all in one game.

Lets break the record and get Mangini fired. Would JETS Homers agree if they get pummeled in New England it may be the end of the road for Mangini.

While I expect the Pats to win that game, I doubt the Pats break the record cause the Jets are better than they look. They usually play the Pats well and I think Belicheat knows Brady amd Moss will get hurt if they run up the score....

BB hates Mangini

BB hates everybody, but especially the Jets and Magini cause he's an ###. He even stole money from Hess. :(

Jets accused Patriots of cheating

Several teams accused the Pats of cheating. Commish even put out a special notice about this type of cheating before the game was played. Pats just happen to get caught at the Jets in Week 1.

75% of which are bandwagon hopping idiots. I'd have more respect for them if they were actual football fans and were around when the Pats played at Foxboro stadium.

Don't see how this makes a difference.

While I hate Fireman Fred, Boston fans are by far worse. Boston fans are always angry about something. NY fans get a bad rep cause of the media trying to sell papers.

Mangini ain't getting fired after this season, that's just more ignorant talk.

Never mind about it being on NBC on Sunday Night Football. It can't happen because a NFL team can only play primetime 6 times in one season and New England will have played 6 times.

Week 2 against SD on NBC

Week 4 against Cincy on MNF

Week 11 against Buffalo on NBC

Week 12 against Philly on NBC

Week 13 against Baltimore on MNF

Week 17 against NYG on NFL Network

Only three teams can appear as many as six times in primetime -- on NBC, ESPN or NFL Network -- and no team can appear more than four times on NBC. NBC was originally scheduled to air Bears-Seahawks in Week 11, but that game will now be carried on Fox. The Patriots will play their sixth primetime game of the season in Week 17 on NFL Network, meaning if the NFL wanted to put another Patriots game on NBC, Eagles-Patriots would have to be moved off of NBC's schedule.

Patriots sold out every game the last eight seasons they played in Foxboro Stadium.

I'm not sure the Patriots will be setting any single game TD records against the Jets. They may drop 40+ points by halftime but it will be standard fare as it has been all year - play Brady a series or two in the 3rd quarter than put him on the bench and out of harms way. BB is not going to risk his QB to ruin the career of a former apprentice.

after watching the game last night, I'd be worried if I 'm a Jets fan because that NYJ/NE matchup could get UGLY.

NY Jets shock the Pats in NE and ruin the perfect record.
The question is will the Patriots play for the record, or the Championship? If they have everything locked up by week 15, I don't think they play for the record. Don't get me wrong, they don't just roll over in this game either. BB definitely wants to take down the Jets. but what is more important, going 16-0 or winning another SB? (here is hoping BB knows the answer here! )On the off chance the Jets do win, the Pats most likely end up with a better draft pick from SF the way the two teams are playing.

Oh please. We both know they were sold out for 'blackout' purposes. There was no wait for season tickets, the stands always had empty seats and when winter came half of the small stadium was basically empty. I don't actually have a big problem with that. It's the BS "I'm a Pats' fan (now that they're winning), look how great WE are" idiots that I can't stand.

 Pats have been winning for 10 years

Did you actually type this with a straight face?
While the Patriots are way better than the Jets, it's certainly not impossible. The Jets did beat New England in New England last year, and this Jets team isn't any worse than last year's team (despite the big disparity in the record). The Jets may be 2-8, but this team is better at running, just as good at passing, better in special teams, and just as awful at run defense. The pass defense last year was better, but Revis is an upgrade, and the team seems to be clicking (again) after the bye. We'll get a good sense of how good the Jets are on Thursday. If they give Dallas a fight and/or win, then I'd say they have about a 10% chance of beating New England in Foxboro.

yes, I am loud. yes, I am obnoxious, but you show me a diehard that isn´t and I´ll show you the casual (bandwagon) fan.btw, I can´t stand what fireman Ed does and no, a beating will not shut up a Jets fan.

The Jets have just as good a chance as anybody left on the schedule in my opinion.

They're gonna need to get points off turnovers.

And that's tough.

I don't see the Pats holding back - in any of their games - and here's two reasons why:

1. If they pull their guys early in games, they won't have "game stamina" for when they DO need to play 60 minutes.

2. In the Giants game, if they pulled players back, they would have a lot of people who might go WEEKS without playing too much (taking the first round bye into consideration).

I think, because of these, Belichick keeps them driving hard all through the regular season.

Jets homer here. They will lose. They will lose big. Mangini will not be fired. End of story.
how can you say that and still call yourself a Jets fan
Ha, I am as die hard as they come. I usually say the opposite of what I think will happen. I am as superstitious as they come. I witnessed that upset this week which gave me some hope moving forward.
